Research on semantic communication has advanced because of deep learning in the construction for collaborative (joint) resource-channel coding (JSCC) project. Deep learning technology (DL)-based JSCC systems currently in practice are developed based upon a preset signal-to-noise ratio (SNR);though, such design is not intended in situations when SNR is changing. Thus, new semantic adaptive system with the semantic adaption modal selectioning (SAMS) modules is developed for semantic communication (SC). It is named collaborative (joint) resource-channel coding with adaptive models (AMJSCC). Both the real-time channel circumstances as well as the model's computing capabilities are taken into account by collaborative (joint) resource-channel encoding (JSCE) & collaborative (joint) resource-channel decoding (JSCD) models. In order to further increase the precision of information recovery, residual networks with various layers are also being studied. Simulation findings show that the model is flexible with the SNR as well as communication services, and it can achieve increased recovery similarity. Meanwhile, it uses less store space and communication resources than the most advanced deep JSCC techniques. © 2025 IEEE.

This is a comparative study to explore the performance of three lossless compression techniques, namely Run Length Encoding (RLE), Shannon-Fano coding (SFC), and Huffman coding (HC) in the context of a Hybrid M-Ary in Braided Single stage (HMBSS) protocol communication scheme. The previous study on HMBSS using HC found that HC's compression technique has drawbacks, i.e., it is sensitive to errors and noise in the transmission channel and limited to certain data types. These drawbacks did affect the value of the compression rate limit. In this study, we evaluate the effectiveness of RLE, SFC, and HC in terms of data size reduction, coding efficiency, and data transmission time by comparing their results arising from the simulation experiments using Python coding in Jupiter Notebook and developed based on the HMBSS protocol algorithm. This simulation experiment starts with an initial six randomly generated datasets. Each dataset is tested using three compression techniques, which resulted in 18 different datasets. The results from the experiments reveal that SFC and HC consistently achieved a higher compression ratio and coding efficiency than RLE. These two compression techniques' algorithms effectively reduce the data size while preserving the original information. In our study, we also find that the data transmission time is increased with larger text sizes for all three compression techniques. This indicates that the larger the data size, the more transmission time is required with regard to what the compression technique's algorithm is. © 2024 IEEE.

The exponential growth of communication technologies has broadened the cloud computing ecosystem horizon to meet main communication needs. However, in-parallel upsurge in online attacks has alarmed industries to ensure optimal data security. The combination of steganography and cryptosystems has been recognized as an enhanced security model for data transfer among the main security systems now in use. In this paper, a hybrid approach using cryptography and K- Least Significant Bit steganography algorithm in Cloud computing (HYBC-KLSBS-CC) are proposed. Initially, input text data is retrieved from cloud storage and compressed using Huffman Compression coding (HCC) to reduce data size. The compressed data is then encrypted with a Hybrid Cryptography Algorithm (Hyb-MRFC-ALC), combining Modified Random Fibonacci Cryptography and Asymmetric Lightweight Cryptography to ensure robust encryption. Finally, encrypted data is embedded within an image using the K-Least Significant Bit (KLSB) steganography technique, providing additional layer of security. The proposed method enhances data confidentiality, integrity, and storage efficiency in cloud environments. The proposed HYBC-KLSBS-CC approach attains 26.89%, 29.49% and 18.64% lower PSNR and 26.89%, 29.49% and 18.64% lower MSE when analyzed through existing techniques like data security dependent on cryptography steganography related with OTP procedure and Huffman coding in the cloud environment (CS-OTP-CE), a novel hybrid cryptographic framework for secure data storage in cloud computing: Integrating AES-OTP and RSA with adaptive key management and Time-Limited access control (AES-OTP-RSA-CC) and Crypto-stegno dependent model for securing medical information on IOMT platform (CS-SMI-IOMT). © 2025 IEEE.

Transliteration of words across different scripts carries importance for both social media platforms and messaging apps. It preserves the phonetic meaning of words across various writing systems. This study evaluates the influence of contextual information within words on the transliteration of Bengali and English language pair. It utilizes the Dakshina and NEWS 2018 datasets and binary encoding for feature representation. With the random forest classifier, the results demonstrate that using neighboring transliteration units as context yields the best performance on both datasets, obtaining the highest accuracy of 81.04%. These findings highlight the vital role of contextual information within words in enhancing the performance of transliteration. © 2023 IEEE.

Given the rapid advancement of quantum computing technology, the McEliece cryptosystem, rooted in coding theory, stands out as one of the few cryptographic systems resilient against quantum attacks. Nevertheless, the system’s extensive public key length and low transmission rate have hindered its practical utility. To overcome these challenges, we propose a methodology to implement the McEliece cryptosystem employing quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) codes, thereby diminishing the public key size albeit at the expense of heightened decryption complexity. Furthermore, we introduce a row-layered normalized min-sum low-density parity-check decoding algorithm aimed at minimizing system complexity and optimizing hardware resource utilization. ©2024 IEEE.

The prosperity of cloud services stimulates the study of reversible data hiding in encrypted images, for which researchers dedicate to find better methods to adopt the new assumption that the ones who provide the cover images, a.k.a. the Content-owner, are no longer the same as the ones who hide the secret message into them, a.k.a. the Data-hider, and the Data-hider might not always be allowed to know the actual content of cover image the Content-owner provided, while the one who receives the stego image must be able to restore the exact cover image after extracting the secret. A method of such reversible data hiding in encrypted images has been proposed and we propose improvements to enhance its performance and make it more generalized and stable. Experimental results show that our proposal improves its performance even in the worst-case scenario.

The annual need for digital wireless data continues to grow significantly, and the number of wireless devices is rapidly increasing, creating problems for current networks. Video data representing approximately 90% of the total data transmitted through networks constitute the most frequent data sent over these networks. To serve the greatest number of users, the volume of video data services needed by each user needs to be decreased. One of the goals of this paper is to improve existing mobile networks to help them meet the IMT-2022 specifications of high throughput and low latency. This paper is also devoted to developing a new video encoder model to provide the greatest number of users with video services by reducing the consumption of video data and cutting its volume. The proposed wireless scheme has the potential to support nearly 16% more consumers than LTE-ADV systems, while video encoding with the proposed wireless scheme can provide nearly 136% and 36% more users than LTE with H.265 and LTE-ADV with H.265, respectively.

An outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19) has spread around the world, causing widespread health concerns. The pandemic's reach has spread to nearly every development sector. There have been numerous steps attempted to prevent the in areas where Covid-19 has spread, wearing a face mask is mandatory. The Covid-19 transmission could not have been controlled without it. To top it all off, seeks to detect finegrained wearing states of the face mask: make sure your face is covered with the right mask Without a disguise. There are two very difficult jobs in our job: first, because of an online market for augmented data sets as well as large-scale training datasets. A face mask identification app for mobile devices is presented in this paper. In its entirety, Cloud-based machine learning technology known as Google Cloud ML API automates the process using TensorFlow files to train the model The ML's effectiveness is demonstrated in this research model. The progress of cloud technology is also examined in this paper. Over traditional coding methods, machine learning is becoming increasingly popular. © 2022 IEEE.
