Contemporary urban development faces many uncertainties and complexities. Resilience research based on big data method provides new ideas for improving urban security. This paper analyzes the research on foreign urban security considering resilience from 1993 to 2018 with Citespace software. The big data algorithm provided by Citespace proves that the urban resilience research can be characterized by three aspects. Firstly, urban resilience and climate change adaptation are mostly at the national scale and regional scale, and there are few studies on community scale and family scale. In the future, the community scale should be emphasized to improve the research accuracy. Secondly, the urban resilience governance model and social dynamic mechanism should be based on the Chinese institutional background and localized and embodied and be socially fair. The combination of public participation, system resilience, economic resilience, and social resilience can still be further improved. Lastly, research can focus on interdisciplinary integration with geography, economics and sociology, considering big data and smart cities. The research scale should strengthen the comparative study of community scales. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Multisignature scheme enables a class of users to produce a signature interactively on a shared message, thus significantly reducing the signature size. This is especially important in blockchain-enabled systems where a consensus is required to complete a transaction. However, most existing approaches are constructed based upon traditional problems, for example, the integer factoring assumption and the discrete logarithm assumption, which in turn bear the risk of quantum computing attacks. Although lattice-based solutions are considered in some studies, the computational overhead due to high level of interaction becomes a major concern. In this paper, we present a new lattice-based multisignature scheme, which is constructed upon Bimodal Lattice Signature Scheme (BLISS). Next, we apply it to the blockchain-enabled systems through the demonstration of a cryptocurrency transaction. At last, we compare the proposed model with existing works on the performance. The result shows that our work can satisfy the security and efficiency concerns of the blockchain-enabled systems.

Secure multidimensional data aggregation (SMDA) has been widely investigated to meet the requirement of protecting individual users' real-time electricity consumption data privacy in smart grid. However, most previous proposals require decryption of encrypted data to obtain the mean and variance, which leads to the inefficient and insecure in the protocols. This article presents an efficient and privacy-enhanced mean-variance scheme (namely PMVS) to provide the privacy-preserving, in which the Paillier cryptosystem is adopted in a fog-based architecture. To achieve efficient authentication functionality, batch verification technology is applied in our scheme. Our scheme provides two new features: Firstly, Electricity Service Provider (ESP) can directly obtain the mean and variance by decrypting the received ciphertext. Secondly, the PMVS can also resist malicious signature attacks. By identifying invalid signatures, the verified signatures can be aggregated, effectively preventing malicious signature attacks from causing batch verification to fail all the time and failing to enter the secure computing stage. The security analysis shows that the proposed scheme is secure and can preserve the meters' privacy.

In multi-edge networks, as the bandwidth and computing resources of edge servers are limited, transmission and processing of large amounts of data could bring significant pressure, leading to violations of service agreements. Thus, it is very important to schedule tasks in edge network efficiently for better performance. In this paper, we formulate the problem as minimizing the overall completion time of tasks in edge networks. Since the problem can be proved to be NP-hard, we propose a novelty algorithm, smartDis, for scheduling tasks accross multiple edges. The main idea of smartDis is to select offload slots of tasks based on the principle of choosing the smallest sum of added value of the overall completion time. We show theoretically that the system transmission time of smartDis is within a constant times of the optimal result, as long as the data upload is scheduled according to the transmission order. The evaluation results illustrate that smartDis is superior to other cross-domain job scheduling algorithms at this stage, achieving a performance improvement of at least 25%. © 2021, ICst Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

In the past few years, mental health risks have risen to one of the top 10 global risks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet for decades, mental health has been one of the most neglected areas of public health, receiving minimal attention and resources. With the development of artificial intelligence, applying AI to the diagnosis and treatment of mental diseases has become a feasible solution, which has attracted the interest of many researchers. Emotion Recognition in Conversation (ERC) is an important technique for the diagnosis and treatment of mental diseases. ERC aims to analyze the emotion of utterances in conversation, which can help detect a patient's mental state. It has received a lot of academic attention in recent years due to its application prospects. However, most of the previous works in ERC suffer from the neglect of multi-modal information. Many researchers only focus on the textual modality, while neglecting the visual and acoustic modalities, which have a great contribution to emotional expression in interpersonal conversation. In this paper, we propose SLMF, a novel multi-modal fusion framework for ERC, which effectively leverages multi-modal features and can further improve the performance of existing ERC models. © 2023 IEEE.

Outside-knowledge Visual Question Answering (VQA) is a challenging and promising task with broad applications. It requires models to accumulate external knowledge, acquire cross-modality scene understanding, and develop reasoning capabilities. A good VQA system can serve as the 'eyes' of visually impaired people, enabling them to see the world around them. For example, it can assist in reading road signs, identifying directions, and recognizing objects. However, most of the existing VQA systems are based on classification fashion, which is limited in its ability to handle answers that have not been encountered in the training set. In contrast, generative VQA systems would naturally perform better in real-world scenarios. Nonetheless, research on such methods is still in its initial stages. Furthermore, in real-world scenarios, visual question answering often requires the utilization of extensive outside knowledge. And existing methods are often based on explicit knowledge from fixed knowledge bases, which is difficult to provide sufficient knowledge. To address the above two issues, this paper proposes a novel VQA system based on encoder-decoder generative models that fuses both implicit multimodal knowledge and implicit textual knowledge. Its absolute improvement of at least 5.69% over a range of baselines on the OKVQA dataset verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.
