Ever since we began programming in the 1950s, there have been two diametrically opposed tendencies within computer science and software engineering: on the left side of the Glorious Throne of Alan Turing, the tendency to perfect the art of Computer programming, and on the right side, the tendency to end it. These tendencies can be seen from the Manchester Mark I's "autocode" removing the need for programmers shortly afterWW2, COBOL being a language that could be "read by the management";to contemporary "no-code" development environments;and the idea that large language models herald "The End of programming". This vision paper looks at what AI will not change about software systems, and the people who must use them, and necessarily must build them. Rather than neglecting 50 years of history, theory, and practice, and assuming programming can, will, and should be ended by AI, we speculate on how AI has, already does, and will continue to perfect one of the peak activities of being human: programming.

Go, a programming language developed by Google, is relatively new but offers modern and powerful features, including similarities to Java and an emphasis on rapid development and concurrency. This paper examines Go's performance compared to Java, focusing on compile time and concurrency. As applications increasingly require concurrent data transmission, there is a strong demand for languages optimized for such tasks. Although many studies compare programming languages, few specifically investigate Go, and some of these evaluations are based on its experimental release. In this paper, we analyze the concurrency features of Go and Java through a comprehensive performance analysis, considering their runtime, memory usage, and unique concurrency *** analyze concurrency features, we implemented CRUD operations on a single MySQL table using both Go and Java programs. Go utilizes its built-in lightweight thread, Goroutine, while Java uses Java Thread. We conducted our experiments by running the programs a thousand times and analyzed the resulting data using various statistical parameters and graphs. © 2024 IEEE.

Gamification can be applied to grab the attention of people in wide range of environments. This work sheds light upon the prospects of its application in classroom to deliver the education related to computer programming is called 'Open Market'. To study the impact upon students after applying this strategy, the level of motivation, engagement and learning were explored. This paper proposed a novel engagement model to improve learning level in student and comp are the impact of gamification method from traditional methods in terms of assessment methods for 'Open Market'. This paper also encourages student's agenda in student learning process by analyzing standard deviation in learning in number of parameters like age, subject, motivation type, and intrinsic method for engagement in programming subjects like C, C++, Python, Java etc. The outcome of the study contends in the support of open market strategy to be indulged in the teaching and learning mechanism. © 2024 IEEE.

This project investigates Python to study the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) and looks at five different algorithms that can be implemented: Brute Force, Greedy, Genetic, Dynamic programming, and Divide and Conquer. Locating the shortest path that makes accurate stops in each city before returning to the origin city is the task assigned to the TSP. In order to identify the best solution, the Brute Force algorithm thoroughly looks through every combination of city sequences. The nearest unexplored city is chosen at each stage via the Greedy Algorithm, in contrast, which makes locally optimal decisions. By applying genetic operators like crossover and mutation, genetic algorithms generate new generations of possible paths by iteratively improving existing ones, mimicking the principles of natural selection. To cut down on unnecessary computations, dynamic programming divides the problem into smaller subproblems and stores the answers. © 2024 IEEE.

Fractions are always better calculated for judgment of precise and accurate value. Sometimes division may yield particulars in decimal form, there the importance of the fraction comes with its own value. The current market works or moves primarily on absolute or estimated prices in most cases or calculations. To complete calculations, the required fractions must produce accurate predicted values every time, so technology for better measurement will have importance of fractions in every calculation. In most technology, fraction is still in use such as where Decimal Portal does not work. So, the programming language also needs to be modified with this function to mold all the libraries useful for the upcoming developers who are working on the programming languages for more development in technology. The main purpose of this paper is to spread knowledge about the importance of fractions, and to explain why everyone needs to introduce it into the defined library of running software. © 2024 IEEE.

As floods become more frequent and severe globally, effective flood control measures are essential for mitigating the impacts of such events. Multi-storage systems, consisting of multiple reservoirs or storage facilities, offer a viable approach for managing floodwaters. However, determining the optimal flow releases from these systems to minimize flood risks requires accurate forecasting techniques. The review surveys relevant studies and research articles that focus on the forecasting of optimal flow releases in multi-storage systems for controlling floods. It examines various forecasting methods and models used in the literature, such as linear programming, dynamic programming, genetic algorithms, and particle swarm optimization. The strengths, limitations, and applications of these techniques are assessed, considering factors such as accuracy, lead time, and the ability to incorporate system constraints. This paper highlights the importance of accurate flow release forecasting for effective flood control in multi-storage systems. It identifies gaps and challenges in the previous works and suggests areas for further exploration. The outcomes of this review advance our knowledge of the state of the art in forecasting optimal flow releases for flood control in multi-storage systems, providing valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers involved in water resources management and flood risk reduction. © 2024 IEEE.

programming can help K-12 students to develop their 21st-century core skills. Despite the benefits, programming is not common to be delivered in Indonesian K-12 education. There is a need to understand potential challenges in introducing programming to K-12 students. We developed a questionnaire survey covering four identified dimensions of challenges: administrative, facilities, teachers, and students. We also asked about common programming assessments and their preferred software features for teaching programming. Forty K-12 teachers were invited to complete the survey. The responses were analyzed with thematic analysis using a bigram-based Latent Dirichlet Allocation topic modeling and descriptive statistics. Our study shows that the challenges include limited learning modules, an insufficient number of computers, limited programming skills, and limited computational thinking skills. Scratch was the most common programming language used and many programming assessments were about debugging a program or writing a small program. Visualization and animation can be helpful in teaching programming. © 2023 IEEE.

Sometimes referred to as hostile software, malware is a subset of programming codes aimed to exploit weaknesses in computer system security. Not only through data theft but also by letting Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, malware seriously threatens companies. Nowadays, machine learning is a required technique for spotting these threats since the diversity and volume of malware keep increasing. This study aims to determine whether an application device's requested rights are benign or questionable. In performance analysis, the Voting Classifier (VC) ensemble approach was better than the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm with an accuracy rating of 97.9%. Anti-malware preventive measures support the guarantee of safe digital surroundings. © 2024 IEEE.

This research paper presents the development of a weather forecasting model that incorporates real-time data through Application programming Interfaces. This model utilises simple algorithms to analyse meteorological parameters from diverse API data sources, aiming to improve forecast accuracy compared to traditional methods. Extensive datasets are used for training and validation, demonstrating the model's effectiveness in providing more precise predictions. The study highlights the significance of API integration in advancing weather forecasting methodologies and fostering innovation in the field. The model created has yielded highly reliable results with minimal error. © 2024 IEEE.
