Arduino Uno – Powered Parking Guidance System with Ultrasonic Sensors" is a smart and innovative solution for simplifying the parking process in crowded urban environments. This paper leverages the power of Arduino Uno microcontroller and ultrasonic sensors to create a cost-effective and efficient parking assistant system. The primary objective of this paper is to assist drivers in parking their vehicles accurately and safely by providing real-time feedback on the distance between the vehicle and obstacles in its vicinity. Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect the presence of obstacles, calculate the distance to these obstacles, and relay this information to the driver through visual and auditory cues. This research comprises an ultrasonic sensor module, an Arduino Uno microcontroller, and a visual display, such as an LCD or LEDs. The ultrasonic sensor emits high-frequency sound waves and measures the time it takes for these waves to bounce back after hitting an obstacle. Using this data, the Arduino Uno calculates the distance to the obstacle and displays it on the chosen output device. The system provides precise distance measurements, allowing drivers to gauge their proximity to obstacles accurately. Drivers receive immediate feedback through a visual display, making parking safer and more convenient. The use of readily available components and open-source Arduino programming makes this parking assistant an affordable alternative to commercial parking aids. The system is designed for ease of use, with clear and intuitive distance information that assists drivers of all skill levels. Users can adapt the system to suit their preferences, including configuring different alert thresholds or integrating additional features like audible alarms. In the context of digital transformation, cities and enterprises are striving to build a digital industrial chain, cultivate a digital ecosystem, and support high-quality economic development. Therefore, the use of visualization technology to assist decision-makers in rational planning has become a hot spot. Taking wuhan city as an example, combined with 3D modeling technology, it is aimed at smart cities and based on digital twins to create multiple scenarios for hydrological data application services and improve hydrological information services. First, we collected the data released by the china hydrology and water resources station;then, we visualized the hydrological data of the yangtze river Hankou station by using methods such as view juxtaposition and 3D interaction;after that, we constructed a 3D scene based on the real scene of the yangtze river Hankou basin, and used algorithms to the water body model is optimized;finally, the interaction between data and scenes is designed, various functions are realized by using high-level programming language design, and the water level changes in the flood season are simulated to help analyze and understand data more clearly, and assist decision makers in making decisions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

The development of technology is very rapid in everyday life, so that it provides benefits for each. One of the advantages is that with technology, users can control electronic equipment which can be done with the smart home application (Smart Home) and from anywhere. This smart home application can help users control household electronic equipment such as lights, air conditioners, TVs, dispensers and others so as to reduce the waste of electricity when users forget to turn off household electronic equipment when traveling outside the house or anywhere. users are located. This research applies the concept of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Internet of Things (IoT) on smart home light by integrating Ras-berry Pi with Python programming, web server (database) with PHP and An-droid programming with Java programming, and in experimental research that will be controlled. is the house light. The results of this research are in the form of a prototype of a home light controller using the IoT concept, web service and the Android SOA Smart home application with 7 buttons to control / monitor lights and this system is integrated with the concept of Service Oriented Architecture which is equipped with a token as system security. This paper deals with leveraging the IEC 61499 Function Blocks with the post language. The post language is a process-oriented extension of the IEC 61131-3 structured Text (st) language. The language targets specifying stateful behavior of PLC-based control software. The main purpose of our contribution is to provide coherence of the PLC source code with technological description of the plant operating procedure. The language combines the advantages of FSM-based programming with conventional syntax of the st language and can be easily adopted by the community. The post language assumes that a post-program is a set of weakly connected concurrent processes. Each process is specified by a sequential set of states. The states are specified by a set of the st constructs, extended by TIMEOUT operation, SET stATE operation, and start/stOP/check state operations to communicate with other processes. The paper describes the basics of the post language, design constructs, and demonstrates usage of the post language by developing control software for a wheel-chair elevator, and discusses the post language over the control software implementation in Execution Control Chart. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Parallel programming is one of the most effective approaches to handle complex problems regarding time complexity by reducing computation time, by getting the most of the capacity of the processors and shared-memory or distributed systems. One of the main ingredients of parallel programming is ‘Loops’ and especially DOALL loops. All loop scheduling algorithms try to achieve load balancing by using chunk resizing techniques (decreasing, increasing…). In this paper, prior loop scheduling algorithms will be evaluated on Mandelbrot. A new algorithm is obtained by merging the increasing and decreasing chunk size techniques in order to acquire the advantages of both approaches. The experimental results show that in the decreasing approach, a large number of small chunks in the last stages will increase the scheduling overhead because of the increasing of inter-processor communication. Also, the large chunk size of the initial stages will increase load imbalance. On the other hand, for the increasing approach, the large chunks assigned to processors at the last stages might increase load imbalance especially when iterations of the last stages are more time consuming than others. This work will introduce a new approach. This approach will try to minimize the load imbalance and communication overhead that are caused by using a decreasing chunk size approach and to minimize the load imbalance and scheduling overhead caused by the use of increase chunk size approach, which is going to provide better performance for many workload patterns. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2021.

Visualization of medical rehabilitation exercise prescriptions is to provide a more intuitive and understandable way of conveying medical guidance through visual means. Currently, the generation of visualized medical rehabilitation exercise prescriptions is largely based on the manual use of software for hand drawing. However, not only does this production method exhibit the drawbacks of complexity and high labor costs, but it also suffers from low production efficiency. In this study, we present four novel methods that aim to harness the potential of existing stable Diffusion to generate visualized medical rehabilitation exercise prescription outputs, as well as to exemplify the generation of visualized rehabilitation exercise prescriptions for frozen shoulders. The applications of Wireless Ad hoc Network (WANET) increases rapidly due to its effectiveness. Each node of this network behaves as router to send/receive data packets. In WANET, nodes contain limited capacity of energy, i.e., fail during data transmission, so, due to this issue, network lifetime decreases. In this paper, an intelligent fuzzification-based routing protocol is proposed to solve this issue. Fuzzification is the method of fuzzy logic to reduce the uncertainties of the WANET. Delay in the arrival of emergency team after a road accident is one of the main reasons for the increase in the number of deaths in many counties across the globe. Saudi Arabia is not exception. This was the key motivation to undertake this project with an aim to contribute an IoT product that can reduce the number of deaths resulting from the problem of delaying the arrival of emergency team or ambulance. In this project we have designed a seat belt with sensor that senses the heart beat rate of the driver and send a notification to the ambulance about the driver's location if he had an accident. To determine whether accident has occurred, the raw data from heart beat sensor is collected along with the data from vibration sensor of the car. Based on the value of these two collected data, UNO microcontroller is used to process and determine whether it is an accident. If accident the controller utilizes the GPS in the car to get the current location and sends notification to the pre-stored emergency contact numbers. The system will use GSM technology to send an alert containing the location of the accident. Also, we have added a fingerprint to confirm the identity of the passenger so that the sensor does not make mistakes when monitoring the heart rate if the driver changes. Here, we use Arduino platform to implement the hardware connections and for programming Arduino IDE is used. Thus, the end-product of our project is expected to reduce the percentage of deaths that may occur due to delaying ambulance. © 2021 IEEE.

Address Resolution Protocol is a protocol associated with mapping a given IP address with the associated MAC address. ARP Poisoning or Spoofing attack is an attack which carried out over a Local Area Network. In an ARP Poisoning/Spoofing attack malicious ARP Packets are sent to a default gateway on LAN with intent to change the IP address-MAC address pairings in the ARP cache table. ARP Spoof attack tool has been developed with a script written in Python programming language using scapy library. A detection algorithm has been proposed for detecting the above generated ARP Poisoning attack (or any ARP Poisoning attack in general) and implemented the same using a python script with scapy library. The detection algorithm is based on analyzing the real MAC Address and response MAC Address of the ARP Packet sniffed for any discrepancies. Lastly, a prevention mechanism is proposed and implemented for ARP Poisoning attacks by implementing static entries in ARP table. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Automatic API recommendations can liberate software developers from labor-intensive programming tasks. Collaborative filtering (CF) techniques, which have been proved to be superior to other classic techniques, are widely used in recommendation tasks such as music, book, and goods recommendations, but are rarely used in the recommendation of APIs. In this paper, we employ the hybrid of CF techniques to build an API recommendation system. More precisely, We treat the API recommendation task as an item recommendation problem, where method declarations are regarded as users, API calls are regarded as items. First, we use the memory-based CF technique to find the most similar projects, collect the most similar declarations, and take API calls used by the considered declarations together to generate a rating matrix. Next, we use the model-based CF technique to complete the missing values in the rating matrix, then a ranked list of APIs is generated based on the completed rating matrix and sent to the developers as a recommendation result. Experimental results show that compared with the state-of-the-art work, the proposed approach can achieve better performance in terms of a comprehensive set of metrics, such as Success Rate, Precision, Recall, MRR, and NDCG for the top-1, top-3 and top-5 recommended APIs.
