artificial intelligence plays a major role in robotics. The algorithms proposed so far are utilized to recognize static hindrances. The issue of way arranging of robots from source to goal includes distinguishing the static and dynamic snags in the detecting territory of the robot and decides a crash-free way. Most of the algorithms are targeted on the trail-finding procedure in a very illustrious atmosphere and leave higher-level functions like obstacle detection, but the cognitive-based adaptive path planning (CBAPPA) is a reconciling and psychological feature-based mostly thinking system that it identifies the dynamic obstacles in an unknown surrounding. In this paper, we tend to propose an associate approach to seek out optimum path in dynamic surroundings. During this approach, the mechanism that has sensors processes the data received through sensors and decides the path supported the data processed. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

This paper describes the implementation of an open-source software developed using Python, which facilitates the materials selection process commonly used in engineering. This software has been developed by non-CS students (Materials engineering, Food engineering and Chemistry engineering), as a project course of their 1st-year cross-curricular course of CS1 ("programming Fundamentals"), in order to connect their CS1 learning process with core subjects related to their careers, aiming to motivate both, the use of computer programming in their personal development and also, their interest in their professional career. The program developed allows choosing between different types of materials, based on specific characteristics required by the user;furthermore, this program enables the visualization of the Michael Ashby methodology for materials selection, which allows non-CS students to solve a problem related to their career, while it gives upper-level students a new tool to learn in class. The dataset used covers approximately 10000 distinct materials, classified by its features as ceramics, metals, polymers, wood/natural materials, pure elements and other advanced engineering materials. As a part of the outcome of this project, a public access repository has been created containing the implemented algorithms and the dataset used. The code developed can be modified and reused under license "GNU General Public License". Finally, a report on the perception of non-CS students taking CS1 and the perception of upper-level students taking "Material selection" subject is described and analyzed. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

The purpose of writing this journal is to create a model and simulation of the distribution of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) Gas stock Availability that can meet the needs of Pertamina, agents and bases and existing community elements. The design of this application uses the PHP programming language (Personal Home Page) with a database using My SQL [1]. The method used in the design is Monte Carlo [2], and the test method used is the Black box and Questionnaire methods. Monitoring System for Gas stock Availability Distribution This Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tube in Makassar presented report printing criteria. In the form of distribution monitoring report, in the form of proof of purchase transactions of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) Gas to Pertamina agents and bases in real-time per day, month and year Monitoring System Availability stock Distribution This LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) Gas Tube in Makassar will also be able to control the LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) stock in each existing agent and base in the form of several a stroke on the monitoring map [3]. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. Sag in the transmission line is defined as the different in level between points of supports and the lowest point on the conductor. In order to permit safe tension in the conductor, conductors are not fully stretched;rather they are allowed to have sag. Therefore, sag is mandatory in transmission line conductor suspension. Therefore, this paper focuses on calculating the sag produced by transmission lines under different conditions such as with supports at same level in planes, supports at different levels at mountains, river crossings with and without wind and ice loads etc. for different physical parameters. In this paper, different factors are explained which are affected the transmission line sag. Effect of loading on the development of conductor sag will also be considered in this paper. After this, there are presents the mathematical formulation responsible for sags of parabolic and catenary shape and analyze the difference of magnitude between them using results of MATLAB programming. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

The purposes of this study were: (1) to develop an educational game application on the basic programming material, and (2) to reveal the quality of the developed educational game application. This research methodology was research and development. The results of this research were as follows. (1) The educational game application was developed using the Codeigniter framework and consisted of the main feature to evaluate students' learning cooperatively by dividing students into teams, playing games, following tournaments among teams, and recognition of teams. (2) The test results showed that the developed educational game application met the ISO/IEC 25010 standards on (a) functional suitability aspect, which worked 100% and had X = 1;(b) performance efficiency, which could load web pages within 2.76 seconds, PageSpeed's performance of 91% (grade A) and YSlow of 93% (grade A);(c) usability, with the percentage of SMKN 1 Limboto being 89.12% and SMKN 1 Gorontalo 88.18%;(d) security, with the vulnerability to attack level being at level 1 (low);(e) reliability, with the result of successful session criteria, hits and pages by 100%;(f) maintainability, which had the maintainability index value of 92.26;(g) portability, which successfully ran on four different desktop and mobile browsers. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. Recognizing facial expression is significant for human-computer interaction system and other applications. A certain number of facial expression datasets have been published in recent decades and helped with the improvements for emotion classification algorithms. However, recognition of the realistic expressions in the wild is still challenging because of uncontrolled lighting, brightness, pose, occlusion, etc. In this paper, we propose an attention mechanism based module which can help the network focus on the emotion-related locations. Furthermore, we produce two network structures named DenseCANet and DenseSANet by using the attention modules based on the backbone of DenseNet. Then these two networks and original DenseNet are trained on wild dataset Affect-Net and lab-controlled dataset CK+. Experimental results show that the DenseSANet has improved the performance on both datasets comparing with the state-of-the-art methods. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery.

Advertise tax is one of the important sources of Regional Revenue to finance the implementation of Development and Government in the Region, so it needs to be regulated separately. So far the Regional Office of Financial and Asset Management in Tasikmalaya during the calculation of advertisement tax has used Microsoft Excel and calculators (calculators). But the obstacles that are often experienced when using Microsoft Excel are frequent advertisement tax calculation errors, when officers are in the field then the calculating machine (calculator) sometimes occurs errors that cause advertisement tax calculation errors and billboard price standard tables must always be taken because the officers do not memorize all advertisement standard price. Then the use of smartphone technology is needed to help the problems that exist in the calculation of advertisement tax in the field. The use of smartphones in the field of government cannot be maximized so that new breakthroughs are needed that can support work, especially work that requires precision in work. Therefore given a solution in this study is to create an advertisement tax calculation application that applies the advertisement tax rules to optimize the use of smartphones, especially Android in the field of government and facilitate the management of local revenue in the city of Tasikmalaya. The results of this study are in the form of prototypes of the advertisement tax calculation application. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

Due the fast growth of new technology application like social media analysis, web data analysis and medical information network analysis, here the various types of data are processed frequently. The large amount of effective data management and analysis is very vital goal. To reduce the data processing complexity, time complexity, and space complexity in Big Data, the paper going to propose the k-nearest neighbor join (KNN) operation. KNN is used to find the K nearest points in S. It is a computational task that will handle the large range of applications such as knowledge discovery or data mining. When the volume and the dimension of data increases, then only distributed approaches can perform the big operations in a given time. Recent works have done on implementing the efficient solutions using the map reduce programming model because it is used for distributing the large scale data processing. Although these works provide different solutions for the same problem, each one has particular constraints and properties. This paper compares the existing of different computation of KNN on MapReduce. First the paper compares the solutions in to three steps for KNN computation on MapReduce: 1) Data processing, 2) Data partitioning and 3) Computation. The Experiment in this paper explains the variety of different data sets, and analyzes the data volume, data dimension and the value of k from many perspectives like time and space complexity, and accuracy. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
