C language programming is the most important professional core course of computer science. In the traditional teaching process, the teacher-oriented way seriously limits the role of this kind of courses, and cannot give full play to students' initiative, especially for the computer science and technology specialty, we should take the construction of national first-class specialty as the goal, making engineering education certification as the opportunity, taking the modern industrial college as the carrier, promoting the all-round development of students as the foothold, and embodying the concept of 'student-centered'. It is urgent to change the teaching methods and carry out comprehensive digital construction and reform. In this paper, the digital reform of C language programming is carried out in all aspects, such as preparation before class, teaching in class, expansion after class, practice teaching, curriculum design and subject competition. The author and the teachers of the course teaching team have written this article through their teaching reflection and practical experience in recent years, trying to briefly elaborate the innovative methods and achievements of the course in digital reform in recent years, so as to arouse everyone's thinking and discussion, aiming at jointly promoting the development of this course and related majors. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

In today's technological landscape, where reliance on digital tools and the internet is pervasive, safeguarding data is imperative. As digitalization permeates every aspect of daily life, the demand for cybersecurity solutions is soaring. This increased dependency has correspondingly led to a surge in security breaches, including unauthorized access, phishing, and other cyberattacks. The safest system is the one that is not used-unplugged, locked in a safe, or buried underground. To overcome these concerns, this work proposes an Arduino based Pro Micro Versa USB, which utilizes the Arduino ATmega32u4 chip, a versatile 8-bit microcontroller from Microchip Technology, housed within the Arduino Pro Microchip. We used the Arduino IDE with version 2.3.2 for the Windows 64-bit OS to implement the proposed APMVU. It has an ATmega32U4 microcontroller and a low-power 8-bit RISC processor for its robust features and versatile capabilities. It includes 32 KB of self-programming Flash program memory, 2.5 KB of SRAM, and 1 KB of EEPROM. Our experimental analysis reveals that Arduino based Pro Micro Versa USB successfully automates a sequence of interactions with the Windows OS, manipulating settings and navigating through menus. It emulates human user actions, showcasing the capabilities of microcontroller-based automation for GUI interactions. This proposed approach offers efficiency and consistency, making it valuable for streamlining repetitive tasks and saving time in various applications. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents an approach to no-code development based on the interplay of formally defined (graphical) Domain-Specific Languages and informal, intuitive Natural Language which is enriched with contextual information to enable referencing of formally defined entities. The paper focuses on the use and automated integration of these enriched intuitive languages via ChatGPT-based code generation to exploit the best of both language paradigms for domain-specific application development. To compensate for the lack of control over the intuitive languages we apply automated system-level validation via automata learning and subsequent model checking. The position deployment and firepower allocation of weapons are very important in military conflict. To the anti-reconnaissance aircraft cluster problem of multi-type air defense weapons, considering the location and fire distribution of different types of air defense weapons simultaneously, a multi-objective mixed deployment model is established taking the overall effectiveness and cost of air defense as the optimization objectives. An immune optimization algorithm with nested double particle swarm is designed to solve the model. Through a series of comparative analysis of algorithm parameters and performance, the proposed algorithm is verified, and the final simulation results illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the model and algorithm. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

This study aims to develop and analyse Heat Source Models (HSM) used in numerical simulation of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), which is one of the processes in the Directed Energy Deposition (DED) techniques. The thermal energy distribution of various HSMs is compared to determine their suitability for application in WAAM process simulation. The HSMs are developed in FORTRAN programming language using utility routine and customized subroutine functionality within the Finite Element Modelling (FEM) software MSC Marc/Mentat. The material used for the simulation is 316L austenitic stainless steel and is modelled as a thick wall structure on a plate substrate using 3 strings and 5 layers arrangement. The parameters of the HSM are then optimised and normalised for analysis. The thermal distribution profile of the HSMs is evaluated at various points on the model and compared to the HSMs in current literature. It is hypothesised that a HSM using a modified Gaussian heat distribution would be more suitable for numerical simulation of WAAM process. A flatter peak profile at the center of the modified Gaussian compared to the regular Gaussian distribution would account for the convection effect of the molten pool of the filler metal deposition in a WAAM process. © 2024 IEEE.

There are many web sites that make use of data structures and complex data for showing the content on their website. One easy and feasible way is to use artificial intelligence and data analysis to produce a machine learning algorithm that produces content based on users input. The input that user enters is then processed and categorized by the machine learning algorithm that makes the entire content of the website to show some dynamic way of content updation by adding and modifying some products or content based on user input entered one there by introducing the user to further more available options through the website. By making the content of the website dynamic there is always a high chance of users focusing on things that they want to consume more or purchase from options available. The CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks model) can be used in this process to achieve greater results. The machine algorithm generates some keywords based on some inputs by user (if exists) else the content is generated as it is predefined. The content generated by the machine learning algorithm can be accessed by API (application programming interfaces) from the backend. © 2024 IEEE.

The exponential surge of residential renewable energy integration presents a burgeoning challenge: balancing real-Time energy optimization with the delicate interplay between economic viability and environmental responsibility. This paper confronts this critical frontier by proposing a novel Mixed Integer Linear programming (MILP)-based Energy Management System (EMS) algorithm, meticulously designed to optimize cost-efficient energy consumption within residential buildings. Our groundbreaking algorithm seamlessly integrates battery storage for enhanced operational flexibility and effortlessly connects to existing grid infrastructure through established protocols. Comprehensive case studies, crafted using historical data from a representative sample of residential dwellings, serve as robust testing grounds for our approach. Compared to traditional methods, our algorithm delivers a demonstrably superior performance, facilitating substantial energy cost reductions. This paves the way for a future of affordable and environmentally conscious energy solutions in residential communities. The system's seamless integration positions it as a key driver for sustainable energy policies within the residential sector, potentially fostering peak demand reduction and enhancing grid stability. Our novel MILP-based EMS algorithm illuminates a path toward a cleaner, decentralized, and cost-effective future powered by residential renewables. By optimizing energy consumption, facilitating substantial cost savings, and effortlessly integrating with existing infrastructure, it provides a critical foundation for sustainable energy policies and paves the way for a future where clean energy thrives within the very heart of our communities. © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid progress of AI-powered programming assistants, such as GitHub Copilot, has facilitated the development of software applications. These assistants rely on large language models (LLMs), which are foundation models (FMs) that support a wide range of tasks related to understanding and generating language. LLMs have demonstrated their ability to express UML model specifications using formal languages like the Object Constraint Language (OCL). However, the context size of the prompt is limited by the number of tokens an LLM can process. This limitation becomes significant as the size of UML class models increases. In this study, we introduce PathOCL, a novel path-based prompt augmentation technique designed to facilitate OCL generation. PathOCL addresses the limitations of LLMs, specifically their token processing limit and the challenges posed by large UML class models. PathOCL is based on the concept of chunking, which selectively augments the prompts with a subset of UML classes relevant to the English specification. Our findings demonstrate that PathOCL, compared to augmenting the complete UML class model (UML-Augmentation), generates a higher number of valid and correct OCL constraints using the GPT-4 model. Moreover, the average prompt size crafted using PathOCL significantly decreases when scaling the size of the UML class models.

Evolutionary-based algorithms emerged due to their flexibility and effectiveness in solving different varieties of problems. Optimization-based techniques are used in finding solutions that involve multiple conflicting objectives. Parallel evolutionary-based algorithms are used to overcome the time-consuming job of finding solutions to these types of problems. In this paper, we present a parallel genetic programming-based model that runs parallelly and obtains solutions in a minimal amount of time. The model also allows the user to select the best set of objectives based on the requirements of the users. An island model is used which runs the operations on different islands parallelly. This not only decreases the execution time of the process but also increases the diversity of the population. The results obtained in different islands are fed to an ensemble classifier to get the required result. The model was trained and tested using the state-of-the-art ISCX-2012 and CICIDS2017 datasets. In our work, we have mainly focused on detecting the attacks in a system in a short duration of time. The model developed gave significant performance improvement compared to the results obtained using the normal CPU implementation. © 2023 IEEE.

ORIGIN-Transcoder is a tool that translates the given code from a source language to a destination language and is also known as the end-to-end translator. It assists the software industry by converting the software code from an old or inflexible language to a modern and more flexible language. studies suggest that developers are seeking transcoders to make their job easier and these transcoders save a lot of time and money. In the existing system, the Transcoders are based on a Rule-Based Algorithm. Since Rule-Based Algorithms require manual correction and expertise in the programming languages, we propose a solution by using a Neural-Based Algorithm. If an employee wants to convert a particular set of code from one language to another, he/she can copy the code and paste it into our software or just take a snap of the code. The code then is extracted by the method of Optical Character Recognition and categorized by Topic Modelling Algorithm. Tokenization is applied to the categorized text to eliminate the punctuation characters. Finally, Recurrent Neural Network gets the desired final code through our Web, Mobile or Desktop Application. Our technique demands less expertise in the targeted programming languages, requires far fewer manual tweaks and is much more efficient than Rule-Based Algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.
