For the data storing and sharingrequirement, the database becomes more importantin the industrial control software. From this point, ascheme is proposed for the design of the ***, the Object-Oriented technology is applied inthe design of the data structure. Then the real-timedatabase is designed by the Direct Memory Addresstechnology. And the historical database is built by thestructured storage technology. Last an interface ofthe historical database to other client application isdesigned based on the COM technology.

This paper proposes a self-tuning methodfor fuzzy if-then rule generation based on neuralnetwork and clustering algorithm techniques. In thetuning approach, the initial parameters of fuzzy rulesare roughly designed by using a fuzzy clusteringalgorithm, and then fuzzy rules under fuzzysingleton-type reasoning are tuned by using aneuro-fuzzy learning algorithm. By this approach,the learning time can be reduced and the generatedfuzzy rules are reasonable and suitable for theidentified system. Finally, identifying a nonlinearfunction shows the efficiency of the tuningapproach.

In certain BPR methodology, process team designand role assignment are problems in the ProcessCreation phase. Some principles are proposed forprocess team design. IDEF3 is utilized to portray theintended process, and then U/C matrix is intro-duced to identify roles(groups) in process teams and theskills required for each role in the process teamplanning sub-stage. Finally, the process team designresult is evaluated according to the principles proposed,and a comparison is made between the conclusionswith Microsoft development process.

The proposed system is realized by appending thedisturbance observer to the type-2 servo in order to reduce thetracking error of trajectory control. Furthermore, the adaptivecontrol is applied to control the deterioration of the trackingperformance by the variation of payload. It is verified by thepractical experiment that the adaptive control is very useful in thecase of the nonlinear torque has small effect compared to thefriction torque.

Considering the variance bought up by approximationof radiance during the first pass, this paper presents erroranalysis and an improvement method for potential tracingalgorithm. With a general form of equations for importancesampling based random walks, variance analysis is given and itsrelationship to the error of radiance is shown. Aiming at errorreduction, a computing method by alternatively solving bothadjoint equations is proposed, giving a progressive refinement toboth radiance and value of the required flux. Analysis of themethod demonstrates a promising convergence rate withiterations.

Based on the predictive-model of MIMOsystems with time-delays, a new conversionrelationship between new and old model parameterswhen time-delay varies is proposed in this *** paper also introduces a new hybrididentification algorithm for time-delays and modelparameters of MIMO systems. Then a new indirectself-tuning control algorithm is derived for MIMOsystems with Varying time-delays. The computersimulation shows the proposed method good controlresult.

With handling qualities requirements ADS-33 taken asdesign criteria, The design problem of fuzzy switching controllaw for a helicopter in the whole flight envelope is investigatedby use of fuzzy logic theory and Hcontrol approach. For everylinearized model in the fuzzy state-space model of a nonlinearsystem, a robust controller is designed using GA-based Hcontroller design method. The fuzzy switching control law forUH-60A helicopter is synthesized using the proposed *** rosultmg flight control system satisfies ADS-33D level 1requirements in the flight velocity range of interest.

A wavelet based watermarking algorithm for digitalimage protection is proposed in this paper. Different from thetraditional watermarking algorithms, in this algorithm thewatermark is not embedded into the source image, but rather,used to derive a secret key. The secret key is generated bymixing-up the image features and the watermark kapt by therightful owner. Signification coefficients of the image afterdigital wavelet transformation are adopted for feature *** major merit of this algorithm is that the host image will notbe degraded for protection purpose and the algorithm is robustagainst various attacks, such as image compressing, blurring andcropping. Experimental results show the effectiveness androbustness of this algorithm.

This paper presents a method of splitting signalsfrom fast and slow axes of polarization maintaining fibers byusing a polarization splitter. It analyzes the relationship ofelectrical power spectrum versus differential group delay andrelative angles between the axis of a fiber and direction of apolarization splitter. Primary experiments are made with thispresented scheme, which has the potential of developing as amethod of solving PMD problem.

This paper introduces a newautomatic tracking method of theconverter's frequency which uses singlechip computer and CD4046, afteranalyzing the normal tracking of CD4046PLL. It makes the converter workunder the resonance or quasi- resonancestate that the power factor is lor close to1. Experiments with the novel approvalshow that the design is more practicaland precise than other typical methods.
