In the meantime, Mobile Agent isregarded as a promising technology for use in widelydistributed heterogeneous open networks. This paperproposes a mobile agent based CAC scheme inenterprise VoIP networks with its architecture andimplementation explained. It is shown that theproposed architecture improves intelligence andflexibility of the VoIP networks and accommodateswell to the CAC mechanism.

In the paper, in order to decrease the disadvantagesof the traditional single beam (SB) switched-beam smartantennas systems, we propose a new switched-beam smartantennas scheme based on the combination of beam hopping(BH) and SB schemes. The analysis and simulation resultsshow that for DS-CDMA systems in multipath Rayleighfading channel,the proposed scheme can overcome the edgeeffect of the crossed sections in beams effectively,thusimprove the performance of the switched-beam smartantennas systems.

For wireless downlink transmission, thismeans that the communication quality is improved withoutincreasing both the complexity of receiver and the numberof receive antennas. Instead of applying maximumlikelihood decoding (MLD), this paper will use the leastsquare decoding (LSD) to interpret the decoding structureof STBC. Furthermore, the performances of STBC-basedtransmit diversity systems in slowly Rayleigh fadingchannel are evaluated by theoretical derivation andcomputer simulation, as well. In this paper, we propose theMediated Integration architecture (MedInt), which employsmediation and wrapping techniques as the main componentsfor the integration of heterogeneous systems. With MedInt, amediator acts as an intermediate medium transformingqueries to sub-queries, integrating result data and resolvingconflicts. The designobjectives are converted to the inequality constraints and theselection of weighting matrices in LQ controller design isexpressed as a multi-objective optimization problem.
