This paper proposes a fault diagnosis method based onintelligent information processing technology. It first extracts thecharacteristics of the primary sample signals with wavelettransform, then optimizes the key characteristics to be inputparameters of neural network with the genetic algorithm, andfinally recognizes the state and classifies the characteristics withneural network. This method not only effectively decreases theneural training time and neural calculation, but also enhances thecorrectness and reliability of the characteristic classification andfault diagnosis. A wavelet based watermarking algorithm for digitalimage protection is proposed in this paper. Different from thetraditional watermarking algorithms, in this algorithm thewatermark is not embedded into the source image, but rather,used to derive a secret key. The secret key is generated bymixing-up the image features and the watermark kapt by therightful owner. Theerror dynamical equation between the master subsystem and theslave subsystem is established firstly. Then the controller drivesthe errorvariables of the error dynamics to zero. In this paper, an analytical modelnamed "Equivalent Length (EL)" of a packet isproposed for end-to-end characterization of apacket over QoS guaranteed networks. By themodel introduced, we demonstrate that in ATMenvironment the transferring performance of apacket is embodied at the first hop of its path andthat the transferring delay of a packet isstatistically equivalent to that of cell if eachswitching node is not overloaded. With the help ofEL, we also make an analysis of the buffer neededat the destination point and develop an estimationmethod for practical purpose. The obtained resultsare also true for other QoS support architectureswhere segmentation and reassembly take place.
