In this paper, a novel algorithm of space vectormodulation (SVM) for the three-level inverter is *** proposed algorithm avoids the abrupt change of outputvector during the process of desired vector changing fromone region to another. For the selection and switching-timecomputation of the output vectors are under the stationaryα-βcoordinate, the algorithm is easily achieved with thesimple arithmetical operation and avoided the operation ofthe trigonometrical function. In this paper, we propose a multimedia serverscheduling technique to efficiently integrate hard real-time and multimedia soft real-time tasks in the samesystem. For two different classes, we show how to adjustthe fraction of the CPU bandwidth assigned to each taskusing the adaptable scheduling where each task instance issplit proportionally into the server. The proposed methodis capable of minimizing the mean tardiness ofmultimedia tasks, without jeopardizing the schedulabilityof the hard tasks. The performance of this schedulingmethod is compared with that of similar mechanismsthrough simulation experiments.

This paperpresents a harmonic pollution evaluation method based onthe harmonic energy at PCC, which can reflect thepolluting direction and level between the network andconsumer. By selecting different integral interval forenergy computation, this method can be used for ashort-term or long-term evaluation. This paper proposes an Interleaved Round-Robin (IRR)scheduling chip for providing good cell-delay-variation(CDV) performance in ATM networking. The chip isdesigned to carry out a multi-class IRR schedulingalgorithm to support 256 connections with 8 classesconcurrently. The multi-class method reduces its sortingcomplexity from 256 to 8. The chip has been fabricated byTSMC 0.6-μm SPDM process. Its core size is 3.5×3.5-mm, and power dissipation is 176-mW at 33MHz. It isable to support a 1.2 G-bps ATM network.
