Thispaper introduces a class of fault tolerant multistageInterconnection Network (MINs) named as Modified FaultTolerant (MFT) Network. This paper presents a new architecture ofpunctured Viterbi decoder with high-speed and low-powerbased on modified T-algorithm and trace-back method. Togain high throughput and short decoding latency, parallelcomputations in ACSU and SMU are ***, to save the power consumptions, theunnecessary computations of path metric are omitted inadd-compare-select-unit (ACSU) and the alreadygenerated back-tracing routes are reused to reduce thetimes of trace-back operations in survivor-memory-unit(SMU). The decoding latency of (2,1,7) Viterbi decoder isonly 34 clock cycles, the total average power is 185mWwith 200Mb/s throughput using 0.25μm CMOStechnology.

The double algebra is a system for computationsinvolving subspace of a general finite dimensional vector spaceand an effective tool for computation of linear invariants ofgeometric configurations. In this paper, we address an implicitmethod of 3D reconstruction based on the double algebra. Theinvariant of double algebra's form has a simple and explicitexpression, which can be computed directly from coordindes ofimage points and fundamental matrix. The steps to choose basisof projective coordinates are also presented in order to get anaccurate result. Experiments with both synthetic data and realimages show that our method is more precise and robust tonoise.

In this paper, we develop a space-time multiuserdetection approach for uplink channels of CDMA systems withtime-switching technique. The design and analysis of the CDMAsystem with array antennas are presented. Based on CDMA codesand their spatial information, the WLS multiuser detectionalgorithm combined the array pattern is provided. The calculatingformulas for interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and bit error rate(BER) have been derived. Simulations show that the WLSmultiuser detector is effective, and the CDMA systems with arrayantenna can get higher system capacity and can be of betterperformance than presented CDMA systems.

In this paper the effect of user's mobility on system handoffrate is studied The analytic result shows the soft handoff fateincreases with the mobile speed linearly which is confirmed bythe simulation results. Based on it, the effect about combinationsof users' multiple velocities on the handoff rate is investigated. Itturns out the handoff rate of a system with several user mobilitypatterns can be estimated with the handoff rates of oorrespondingsingle user mobility pattern systems.

In this paper, we emphasized on the research ofdynamic nonlinear control of planar two-link flexiblemanipulators. The flexible manipulator is a nonlinear and strongcoupling dynamic system, and the complicated control system ofwhich has a bad control property of real time and *** to the control problems above, the fuzzy composedcontroller with a nonlinear compensatory and a PD controller isproposed by well considered both the dynamic and static controlproperties of the system. At last, the control method is verifiedby computer simulation, based on the dynamic model of a planartwo-link flexible manipulator. The simulation results show thatthe control strategy has a good result on the elastic vibrationreducing of flexible manipulators.
