In this paper, a novel Hcontrol design isproposed on the basis of T-S fuzzy model. The controlleris divided into two parts, one is designed based on the ideaof parallel distributed compensation (PDC), to guaranteethe stability, and the other is an Hcontrol to attenuatethe external disturbance. The influence on the regulatingerror can be attenuated to a prescribed level. A simulationon the inverted pendulum is given to illustrate theeffectiveness of this algorithm.

The neurons of its output layer havepriority ordered interconnections, during the training course, thetraining data tailed off gradually, so the algorithm may convergerapidly because of the decrease of the complexity ofperformance function. The WT is used to extract featurespectra of each machine state from measured vibrationsignal for distinguishing faults. Excellent symptomparameters (SP) for detecting fault states areautomatically generated by GP. The membershipfunctions of symptom parameters will be establishedusing possibility theory for resolving the ambiguousdiagnosis problems. For dynamic lightpath provisioning, a novel opticalsignaling protocol through optical communicationnetwork User Network Interface (UNI) is proposed. Itsupports multi-client addressing and meets the specialrequirements of optical networks. A CommnunicatingFinite State Machine (CFSM) model is utilized toformally specify and validate the protocol. Exceptionalhandling of the protocol is analyzed and fault-tolerantproperties are verified by Temporal Logic. Verificationsconfirm that file protocol performs actions to lightpathscorrectly under both normal and any time out conditions,with its no-deadlock, no-livelock, and other goodproperties.

Segmentation of handwritten Chinese inputinto individual character is a crucial step inmany connected handwriting recognitionsystems. In this paper, A new method isaddressed to segment off-line handwrittenChinese text images. We first adopt the HMMmethod to provduce the segmentation paths andapply two rules to reduce the redundant paths,then the left candidate paths dissect the text lineinto radicals or *** the second stage, we proposed three newcriteria-aspect ratio, gap ratio: longer edgecriteria-to calculate the clustering cost matrixand use a dynamic programming technique toproduce the optimal clustering scheme. A seriesof experiments show that our method is veryeffective for the word segmentation of the off-line handwritten Chinese text image.
