In this paper, based on the wavelet transformtheory, a wavelet network is established as an alternative tofeedforward neural network for approximating arbitrarynonlinear function and an algorithm of back-propagationtype is proposed for wavelet network learning. Moreover, byusing principal component analysis, the major impactfactors are selected, and the relationships among accidentnumber, people death, people injury and accidents loss aresystematically analyzed and modeled to predict road trafficaccidents loss using wavelet neural network. Theexperimental results show that the wavelet network hassuch properties as simple structure of network, fastconvergence and strong function approximation ability andprovides a new prediction approach for traffic accidentsloss.

It's observed that RIO has bias against TCPflows in some cases. Based on the observation we furtherexplore the impact of RIO parameters on the fairness of TFRCflows and TCP flows. This paper provides a method for analysis and designof subband coder with involving quantization effect. A jointoptimization method for design of filter banks and relateddithered quantizers by using time-domain formulation isproposed. To show the effectiveness of design method, theoptimum filters are calculated for a first order autoregressiveprocess in a paraunitary filter bank and results are compared witha non-modified subband coder. Experiments show that byappreciate choice of synthesis filter bank, it would be possible toreplace signal-dependent artifacts with signal-independent whitenoise and also reduce the mean square error of reconstructionsignal.

Based on thenumericai and analytical method, the voltage controllingN-N-P model for BJMOSFET's DC characteristics hasbeen obtained. Appling the software package ofMathematic, we have simulated both the voltage transferand the voltage output characteristically graphs ofBJMOSFET. Simulation results indicate that theBJMOSFET has a larger current density about 30-40%than the power MOSFET under the same operatingconditions and structure parameters, only that thethreshold voltage increases a little.

The proposed protocol, Code Grouping Multiple Access(CGMA),partitions mobile users into virtual code groups toenhance channel utilization for multimedia traffic in a TDD-CDMA environment. CGMA performance has previouslybeen evaluated for both error free and error prone uplinkchannels [1]. It has been shown that CGMA allocates channelresources more fairly to mobiles while guaranteeing QoS forvoice service in comparison to reservation protocol such asfirst come first serve algorithm. In this paper, the delayperformance of CGMA and its fairness in resourcedistribution are evaluated assuming both uplink and downlinkerrors. Simulation results confirm that CGMA provides fairresource allocation under both error free as well as withuplink/downlink channel errors.

In this paper, the error bounds for trellis codedmodulation, formed by combining rate-1/2 convolution coding andGMSK (B T = 0.3), are presented for an additive white Gaussiannoise (AWGN) channel as well as a channel suffering fromamplitude fading. In the derivations, a Viterbi decoder is used toselect the most likely transmitted sequence. The bounds obtainedfor the AWGN channel are tight to within 2.5 dB for the cods [3,1].Computer simulations have also been carried out to verify theanalytical bounds over AWGN, and frequency-flat fading *** results over AWGN fall within ldB of the theoreticallower bound.
