The automatic optical inspection algorithm based on pattern recognition and mathematical morphology is promoted, which can be used to detect some kinds of defects in PCBs. In this paper, the conception of linkage information table was presented which is regarded as correlation features of template PCBs. This paper also includes pre-processing and feature extractor. Compared with features between detected images and template images based on linkage information table, those defects existed in tested PCBs can be identified, which has achieved the automatic identification and real time inspection. Proved by some experiments, this algorithm will largely compress feature data volume, decrease correlation workload and decrease data processing time.

One of the weaknesses and drawbacks of a computer compared to a human being is the creativity and intelligence of a human being in encountering with different problems and his power of deduction and reasoning. Therefore computer engineers have been trying to make computers more intelligent and inferential and reasonable in encountering with different problems. Thus in this article we have tried to increase the intelligence and deduction of a computer when playing a poker game. In this article a method is proposed based on the association rule mining which enables the computer to sense thoughts in a poker player's mind and guess his hand by observing his moves. According to the evaluation and a confidence of 78.6%, the rules in a poker player's mind were proven to be guessed correctly by the computer.

A Web service is a software application that can be accessed remotely using XML-based languages. It represents a communication interface offered by the server, through that the clients (programs on other systems) may require different information. The customer may vary, may be present on the same computer server, may be in the same local network or it may be located in the opposite part of the country. It is a method by which applications can communicate with each other through asynchronous messages or calls on remote procedure (RPC remote procedure call). So it can be concluded that a Web service is a software application that can be accessed remotely using XML-based languages. Web services are just two programs that change data between them on the Internet or Intranet in XML format called SOAP (simple object access protocol).

Assessing leaner's answers is very time consuming for educators and limits them to be involved in other activities. In many cases, exam papers comprise of questions that require learners to write at least one or two sentences toe express their understanding. However, there are not many computer-based assessment tools due to limitations in computerized marking technology. Our research attempts to address this limitation by introducing a technique to evaluate short free text answer. It is based on a hybrid approach that combines natural language processing, information extraction and artificial intelligence. A textual answer is converted into a node link representation to extract the hidden knowledge structure. We then apply excess entropy to compute the amount of known information for each model and later compute the score accordingly.
