With the rapid development of network, WLAN, which is being widely applied on various occasions, becomes the hotspot of the marketplace. This paper brings forward a intrusion detection system model named after DWIDS (A Distributed Wireless-LAN Intrusion Detection System Model based on computer Immunology), which can be used to effectively compensate for the defects of the traditional technology on safety protection. The DWIDS applies the principles of the computer immunology to IDS;that is to say, several different detection agents work coordinately and distributedly in each AP and cooperate with each other to detect intrusions. The self-learning mechanism of the sandbox not only studies the unknown intrusions, but also abstracts the rules and collects the evidence. Nowadays, with the popularization of WLAN, the application of DWIDS undoubtedly improves the safety coefficient of entire network, increases the usage ratio of network, and decreases the fund invested in the safety troubles of enterprises and departments.

In order to realize the purpose of precise profit management, resolve data isolated phenomena, utilize all kinds of university resources efficiently, and improve the quality and efficiency of university management, a new and feasible URP (university resource planning) project based on digital university is proposed in this paper, which is established based on the ideology of digital, apply the ideas of ERP (enterprise resource planning) and BRP (business resource planning) and combine the fact of university management. An efficient, safe URP management platform by applying some new technologies such as SOA (service-oriented architecture), XML (extensible markup language), Web service and mode integration is set up, which could make leadership scientific decision and management in universities. The objective of communication and management efficiently between teachers and students can be realized by reasonable collocating resources to improve the level, quality and efficiency for universities in China.

Saving power is the major goal in every area either in industry or in campus. However, there are more uncertainties in campus. For instances, the usages of air conditioners in the classroom are irregular events. In the other hand, the lighting in the parking area is the regular event. For the regular event, we use the unstable green energy like wind or solar to save the electric cost. For the irregular event, we use the stable electricity but managed by dynamic power dispatch system to efficiently handle usages of air conditioners in the classroom in order to reduce cost. This dispatch system is the integration of Internet, network, coded radio frequency, database, interfacing technology, and campus administration computerization servers. By using the existing media and devices, the set-up of this system is without extra expensive cost. This hybrid strategy is simulated in a University with about 15000 students and more than 100 classrooms equipped with air conditioners. We can estimate to save more than 10% power than usual.

The increasing need for software quality measurements has led to extensive research into software metrics and the development of software metric tools. To maintain high quality software, developers need to strive for a low-coupled and highly cohesive design. However, as mentioned by many researchers, coupling and cohesion metrics lack formal and standardized definitions and thus for each metric there is more than one interpretation. This paper introduces our view of coupling and cohesion metrics and our implementation approach. Coupling and cohesion metrics are calculated by considering a number of relationships, which were introduced by several researchers. Based on the relationships, some sets of metrics were chosen. The selected metrics are then formalized to aid the implementation of the metrics to actual software codes. The formalized metrics have been implemented in CCMETRICS, a tool for calculating the coupling and cohesion metrics of object-oriented software.

This paper outlines the design and development of a Java-based, unified and flexible natural language dialogue system that enables users to interact using natural language, e.g. speech. A number of software development issues are considered with the aim of designing an architecture that enables different discourse components to be readily and flexibly combined in a manner that permits information to be easily shared. Use of XML schemas assists this component interaction. The paper describes how a range of Java language features were employed to support the development of the architecture, providing an illustration of how a modern programming language makes tractable the development of a complex dialogue system. Privacy protection has become one of the important requirement in Web-based information system that deal with personal information. There are an issues arise that personal information collected should be privacy-protected. Owner should know to what extent information about them has been collected, how it'll used and able to control their own information. Hippocratic database (HDB) introduced by Agrawal, et al. (2002) is a relational database system that has been proposed in order to protect the privacy at database level. Hippocratic database used the purpose as a central concept in the database development. But, currently with the notion of purpose, owner is unable to control his/her PI stored in HDB regardless they are able to. This paper discussed and introduced an initial architecture of owner-controlled hippocratic database.
