Recent progress in wireless communications, mobile computing and sensor technology has attracted researchers to investigate the development and applications of context-aware ubiquitous learning environments, in which the learning systems can detect the behaviors of students and guide them to learn in the real world. Meanwhile, scholars also indicate that, it is important to provide computer Mindtools, with which the students can learn in a more meaningful way. In this paper, we present the design of 2×3 optical moderator based on waveguide with SU-8 polymer material. The technology ensures low cost fabrication and excellent performance as compared to conventional technique that uses fused coupler for optical splitter fabrication. The optical moderator is suggested to be used in passive customer access network FTTH-PON to variety the signals send to the premises. It is the first time reported. The problems arose such as the loss of output power is also discussed. The simulation result shows that various factors; namely the width of waveguide, refractive index and wide-angle branching will increase the output power loss. To obtain maximum power, the optimization of those parameters' value must be used. This designed optical splitter is operated at wavelength 1500 nm - 1600 nm. In this study, we characterized the trend of total output power with the effect of the parameters studied.

Given to the fact that organizations' functionality and efficiency are strictly dependent on their capacity to anticipate and set up future plans, highlighting planning/ foresight activities developed within small and medium enterprises in our country has an essential significance in creating a general image. Research results reveal that annual plans and policies are issued in 45.24% of the total number of companies, strategies on 3-5 years are issued in 11.94% of SMEs and no planning activities* are undertaken in 44.55% of enterprises (figure 1). If we consider that - according to an exhaustive study on small and medium enterprises in EU member countries - within one European SME out of six, strategies are issued and operated, we notice that from the point of view of strategic approach frequency, small and medium companies in our country are close to their homologues from developed countries, in spite of the big difference as competitiveness is concerned. The explanation is that many entrepreneurs, managers and specialists from Romanian SMEs are used to planning activities imposed by centralized economy in communist regime 1.

Rapid development of industry and economy requires quick and efficient education of large amount of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In computer science, especially in programming, this trend is very noticeable and real experts are needed and hard to create. But new problem has emerged in higher education and its name is plagiarism. In order to prevent this one would have to check all students program codes to find similarities. To do this efficiently a procedure has been designed upon which a certain prototype was developed and tested We discuss efficiency of this solution and we also mention some other methods and algorithms. We also discuss some other possible usages of this solution and we mention further actions and steps in our research.
