According to China Association of Automobile Manufactures statistics, China's automobile production and sales ranked first in the world in 2009. Although China has become a big country of automobile manufacture, the research and design capabilities of automobile is still weak, especially in styling design. How to use computer aided technology to promote the development of car styling design is the aim of this article. CAS (computer aided styling) may be is a good choice. First, comparing the different among traditional styling design process, CAD design process and CAS design process, this article points out the benefits brought by CAS;Second, this article explain the details of CAS design in car styling design;Finally, this article analysis the character of CAS which is important to apply CAS correctly. If Chinese auto companies could apply CAS well in car styling design, the industry of China automobile will enter a new phase.

As technology evolves (e.g. 3D cameras, accelerometers, multitouch surfaces, etc.) new gestural interaction methods are becoming part of the everyday use of computational devices. This trend forces practitioners to develop applications for each interaction method individually. This paper tackles the problem of interpreting gestures in a multiple ways of interaction scenario, by focusing on the abstract gesture rather than on the technology or technologies used to generate it. This article describes the Flash Library for Interpreting Natural Gestures (FLING), a framework for developing multi-gestural applications integrated and running in different gestural-platforms. By offering an architecture for the integration and unification of different types of interaction, FLING eases scalability while presenting an environment for rapid prototyping by novice multi-gestural programmers. Throughout the article we analyse the benefits of this approach, comparing it with state of the art technologies, describe the framework architecture, and present several examples of applications and experiences of use.

The coal bed exploration type division has important significance in the layout of the exploration projects and the determination of the exploration degree. The paper analyzed the factors of the coal bed exploration type division, and described China's existing coal bed exploration type division and pointed out the deficiency of the China's existing coal bed exploration type division, and summarized the quantitative division of the coal bed exploration type. The authors put forward the development trend of the coal bed exploration types:(1) in the classification indicators, from the qualitative description to the quantitative statistics;(2) in the choice of the exploration means, from the single drilling project exploration to the integrated exploration;(3) in the layout system of the exploration projects, from the uniform exploration line system and the uniform exploration net system to the uneven complex exploration system;(4) in the research contents, from the simple "type- net density- reserves" to guiding the coal exploration systems and the computer simulation;(5) in the indicators of the coal bed exploration type division, not only to consider the geological structure complexity and coal bed stability of the exploration area, but also to consider the coal-bed mining technology conditions.
