There are no unified normal forms of the descriptions for the User Interface Design Patterns until now, which leads to the great insufficiency in using several kinds of presentation styles to construct complex user interface; meanwhile it cannot meet the need of displaying the content of a hierarchical structure in the limited area. In this paper a presentation style of the complex interface is defined. Based on abstracting the interface presentation style, the standardized descriptions of interface design pattern are constructed; thus the complex interface modeling and target code automatic generation are finally implemented by customizing interface presentation style. Application research shows that this method can greatly support the complex interface design and realization, and enhance the efficiency of the user interface development.

A system of bore browser and geological profile browser has been automatically build, by development platform and integrated environment of .net, Component-Based Design and B/S system model, which make mutual query between attribute and space data come true. Data and template are managed by using XML technique, can separate the content, appearance and operation of the document from each other, make the system well interactive and then develop the prototype system.

This paper describes a methodology that providers of services can use to adapt their software applications, both intra-net and inter-net systems, to the changes of their business environment. The methodology enables agile software development based on a Web process architecture that executes ontology-based business processes as workflow systems. Ontology construction technology is used to extract business model of tasks and processes from business documents, model them, and organize them. Reflective semantics interoperates between RDF/XML representation of business tasks and Java objects of business process primitives. The gap between business models and service system applications is bridged by a Java-based software framework that executes business process as a set of Web page transitions. As a result, a business model is implemented as a thin client application. The software framework enables rapid spiral development of short-term cycles because business modelers, software developers, and users are able to share the same framework of description and systems. The feasibility of the methodology described here has been demonstrated in projects developing local-government workflow systems.

Based on the Sumsung ARM S3C44B0X embedded development platform, a design scheme of data communication between IC card and general purpose I/O ports is presented, including the instruction of hardware interface design and software design in detail, especially many problems should be noticed in hardware implementation are put forward. And the scheduling of data communication between general purpose I/O ports and IC card is implemented by using the common advanced language C. By defining different data transmission formats with proper software adjustment, the specific of IC card can be easily implemented.

Virtual neuron is tool that able to provide an extensive neuron cell visualizing and lab-experimenting experience. Its development requires combination efforts of informatics and neurosciences in order to create data acquisition, databasing and computational tool. The requirement to reconstruct neuron model towards greater realism still remains as an essential challenge in biological computing and visualization as to provide abroad appearance of neuron knowledge distribution. This paper enlightens on the ability of computational neuronal modeling as a powerful tool for exploring greater understanding in neuron's developmental processes and structure-function relationships. By this finding, we proposed a design consideration that believes can generate a neuron model with successful and equivalent as per available neuron biological form requirement based on validation from existing neuron visualization. In this proposal, we apply the reconstruction model in generating virtual neuronal morphology integrated with Gouraud shading technique to perform smooth lighting on visualization surface presentation.

Requirement traceability has become an important element in the engineering to make development and maintenance work easy. In years, there are many post-requirement traceability techniques and approaches have been proposed that involved forward and backward tracing between design specification and the product development and most of them accompanied by tools. In the preliminary study, the result of the findings shown that the study of pre-requirement tracing and non-functional requirement tracing are still in the beginning. In common practice, designers use low-fidelity prototype to elicit, review and confirm requirements with users. This related techniques involved sketching with pencil and paper, scenario, storyboard, sticky notes or visual design tool. The convenience of using visual tool for user interface development would lead to usability quality ignored and the amount of time devoted to the user interface design has not yet been substantially reduced by the tools. In this paper we propose tracing usability design requirements in the aspect of pre-requirement with the hope to fill the gap between the pre-requirement and post-requirement tracing. The proposal is concerned on the pre-requirement traceability of user interface in generating design specification that explain the rationale of the design based on the source it refers from and the impact of the changes in the confirmed design. With the comprehensive design specification, it is hope that project can be handed-over to different designer easily and provide an audit-trail requirement in the long run.

Organic light emitting devices have been fabricated using a new anthracene derivative; 9,10-bis(dodecylthio) anthracene (ADT). In this paper, ADT was used as dopant and emitter in PVK host matrix by spin-coating the layers of the doped polymer onto the cleaned indium tin oxide coated glass (ITO) / 3,4-polyethylene-dioxythiophene:polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) substrates. At room temperature the electroluminescence, centered at ~475 nm, is delivered with the highest maximum current efficiency of 0.28 cd/A at 9 V and highest maximum luminance of 318 cd/m 2 at 11.5 V from the PVK:ADT 30wt% device. CIE coordinate of devices was shifted from (0.16,0.13) to (0.16,0.26) for PVK:ADT 0.5wt% and 40wt% devices, respectively. Therefore, this material can be used as a new emitting material.

In this paper, we propose a RT level power reduction scheme which can be used for any applications that have power problem when designers use traditional design flow. A novel wasting-toggle-rate based clock power reduction technique is introduced and verified along with traditional design flow. The proposed technique can choose optimal clock-gating style selectively to minimize the power based on proposed wastingtoggle-rate analysis at RT level, and the optimization is based on proposed power equations without simulating the design at gate level. We have tested the proposed technique on real industrial multimedia-mobile-processor design. For the accuracy of the power optimization results, all of them are measured at gate level after synthesis by using industrial 65 nanometer technology library. The experimental results show that the technique reduces average 35.84% power comparing with non-clock gating design and 19.28% power comparing with clock-gating design by Power Compiler. The design overhead of the proposed technique is 1.79% increase of area and 2.55% increase of the critical path delay for whole circuit comparing with the original circuit.
