Phishing is an online scam used to dupe people out of their personal information for the purpose of defrauding them. This paper presents a conceptual design for removing phishing pages that have been uploaded on a Web site, potentially without knowledge of the Web site owner or host server. Initially the system is alerted to the presence of a phishing page upon receiving the Phisherpsilas solicitation e-mail. Next the system retrieves the location, IP address and contact information of the host server using a tracking program. Finally, the system sends notification to the Administrator about the phishing page on its server. It is then up to the host server Administrator to remove the phishing page from its server, or face the possibility of criminals continuing to use their site. This approach acts as the basis for further development into proactively (or aggressively) attacking Phishers directly, rather than being a reactionary approach that is common to most email filters and anti-virus software.

With a view toward enhancing pest control and achieving organic requirements in wine industry, development of a prototypical autonomous vehicle that automatically applies a band barrier on grapevine is detailed in this paper. A novel band wrapper mechanism is proposed in this work. The band wrapper serving as the carrier for pest control is applied by the vehicle's six-degree-of-freedom articulator real-time controlled through classical inverse kinematics. It is found in the laboratory that the automated band wrapper robot can successfully detect a rod-like object and optimally place the band wrapper on the desired location for pest control.

This paper summarizes our most relevant results of research and development work regarding a solution proposal for a privacy concept called user-centric privacy framework (UPF). In particular, our work focuses on user-adapting systems and follows three objectives: elaborate an adaptable privacy statement that complies with well-known privacy practices and with legal regulations; utilize privacy-enhancing technologies for single-user and group-based activities; provide user-controlled privacy concerns. UPF is an integrative solution proposal that considers main aspects of the three interrelated and highly relevant points of view: legal aspects (lawyerpsilas language); technological aspects (technicianpsilas language); user-centric design aspects (userpsilas language). To give a practical example, we present the applicability of UPF focusing on the field of self-directed work-integrated learning systems.

Summary form only given. In the last century, R&D in robotics had been mainly concentrated on industrial robot and its related applications. In the 21 century R&D activities in robotics have been continuously high in Japan for the first decade. Representatively, METI, Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, successively launched R&D projects in robot area. Topics of the projects cover from fundamental technology to industrial/commercial applications. Recently topics are rather shifted to service application including home usage. It is very interesting fact that such diversity in R&D is specific in robotics. This may be contributed to unique and different feature of robotics in comparison with other engineering fields. In short robotics is integration of all the fields from both science and engineering. To construct a robot we need knowledge of mathematics, physics, electronics, control theory, computer science and more. To utilize robots we directly need knowledge of objective application field. Thus essence of robotics is to integrate all the science and technology to produce physical/mechanical systems to be utilized in factory, business and home. Since 21 th century application field of robotics largely shifted to daily and home-oriented topics. Robotics is required to solve such human-oriented issues and produce novel machines, equipments, systems utilized for them. Robotics will become a social technology in addition to the industrial technology in the future.

With the accession into the WTO, modern logistics in China possess the great development opportunity. Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, some of the major gates to the outside world in China, plan to build themselves into major international logistics center in 5 to 10 years. Therefore the research of logistics infrastructure (LI) has recently become a hot topic in the logistics area. In this paper, we propose a principal component analysis (PCA) and data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of logistics infrastructure (EELI) for 31 major regions (including 23 provinces, 4 municipalities and 4 autonomous regions) in China. This model is significant because it not only can provide useful information to measure EELI through an evaluation framework including 2 output variables and 6 input variables, but also can help government identify the inefficient and effective operations.

Service-oriented architecture (SOA) has become a new paradigm for distributed applications development. SOA allows the integration of legacy systems with new development applications and to create more flexible and adaptive applications. Also, it allows decreasing implementation and maintenance times. SOA uses Web services technology as a solution for business applications integration. This paper introduces a service-oriented architecture for solving integration problems with legacy systems of inventory flow control on a sugar mill. Different levels of services of the proposed architecture are described. Also, a case of study is presented where the functionality of the proposed SOA is explained. Finally, we discuss the state of the art and we emphasize our contribution.

In this paper, we introduce a new topology of optimal polynomial fuzzy swarm net (OPFSN) that is based on swarm optimized multilayer perceptron with fuzzy polynomial neurons. The study offers a comprehensive design methodology involving mechanisms of particle swarm optimization (PSO). The design of the conventional PNN uses extended group methods of data handling (GMDH) with a fixed scheme for the network. It also considers a fixed number of input nodes in each layer and the resulting architecture does not guarantee optimal network architecture. Here, the development of OPFSN gives rise to a structurally optimized topology and comes with a substantial level of flexibility which becomes apparent when contrasted with the one we encounter in the conventional PNN. To evaluate the performance of the swarm optimized OPFSN, we experimented with bench mark data sets. A comparative analysis reveals that the proposed OPFSN exhibits higher classification accuracy in comparison to PNN.
