With the development of electric technology, uniprocessor is being substituted by CMP (chip multi processors). CMP can run multi-thread program efficiently, many researchers engage in the study of multi-thread, including extracting multi-thread from legacy single thread program and making standardization for future multi-thread program. Data communication among threads is an inevitable problem in multi-thread program, and efficient data sharing is an important aspect for program performance. But researchers focus data sharing on memory organization and relationship among threads, there is little attention for intra-processor. In this paper, we develop a thread assignment method for group sharing L2 cache architecture according to the data relationship among threads. We allocate some threads to some cores and some threads others. In our experiment, we simulates four threads with different degree data sharing and running in four cores CMP, whose cores is divided into two groups. Comparing some program execution tracks, we find that the main difference between two simulations is the hit rate of L2 cache and thread assignment brings 6.25% running time improvement. The L2 cache hit rate is 91.0% and 87.1% with thread assignment our proposed, but the L2 cache hit rate is 77.0% and 75.4% with random thread assignment. It descends 14.0% and 11.7% for each group.

With the development of computer science and the appearance of a great number of medical imaging equipments, large amounts of medical image data is produced in hospitals everyday. More and more medical images represent huge quantities of data that need to be safely stored, automatically processed and retrieved in an intelligent way. Thus people raised that Content-based Image Retrieval (CBIR) technology could be applied to medicine. The main idea of CBIR is to establish image feature vectors as their index which based on color, texture, shape and other information contained in images. Since most of medical images are gray images, the general color-based retrieval method is incapable, texture-based and shape-based retrieval methods are widely adopted. This article introduces how the texture feather of a thyroid gland SPECT image is gained by means of gray level co-occurrence matrix, and how the images from database which reveal the same disease as retrieval image be retrieved.

In the present RFID sub-systems, the RFID reader scans data sequentially from individual antenna port by switching the multiplexer once at a time. When the number of antenna increases, the subsequent time interval of scanning data from any particular antenna may be sufficiently large, hence the probability of loosing any tag information passing through that antenna in any dynamic domain is very high. In this paper author proposes virtual concurrent data processing algorithm to scan the data parallelly and simultaneously from all the antenna at the single time quantum, thus minimizing the probability of loosing any tag information passing through any antenna in multi ported UHF RFID reader sub-system.

The Robot, named as TRAIN WALL BOT, is designed to navigate on smooth vertical surfaces with the capability to avoid obstacles and overcome if the height is about 1 cm. The design is inspired from train steel wheel movement that contains two actuated legs with rotary motion provided by a DC motor. The Robot uses pneumatic system and the suction force is supplied by an air compressor that turns on intermittently. The suction force ensures the attachment of the robot with the wall by using 3 vacuum valves and 6 vacuum pads. The robot is controlled using PIC 16F877A. Two limit switches are used to acknowledge the contact with its navigating surface. Vacuum suction is controlled based on the ON OFF priority of the limit switches. Though the design is quiet simple but it is capable to walk, climb vertical smooth surfaces and avoid obstacles. Forward and backward movements are also faster, smoother and more stable (because of the coupling design) than other existing wall climbing Robots. In this paper, various aspects of prototype design and development of the Climbing Robot are conveyed including the body, leg, feet design and gait dynamics.

With rapid development of the Internet and communication technology, massive text data has been accumulated in Internet, including text data on network pages, emails, instant messengers and etc. Requirements on increasing data volume, real-time data-loading and creating text indexes pose enormous challenges to data-loading techniques. This paper presents a data loading system in real time, text-loader that is used in ITSR (Internet text data real-time storage and retrieval system). Text-loader consists of an efficient algorithm for bulk data loading and exchange partition mechanism, increasing text index creation algorithm, optimized parallelism, and guidelines for system tuning. Performance studies show the positive effects of these techniques with loading speed of every Cluster, increasing from 220 million records per day to 1.2 billion per day, and achieving the top loading speed of 6TB data when 10 Clusters are in parallel. This framework offers a promising approach for loading other large and complex text databases.

Evolution of knowledge-based industry should accelerate the research for improving human interoperability across collaborating individuals and organizational domains. These human-centric environments are critically dependent on individuals' ability and integrity of the information and the quality of decisions. Human interoperability plays an important role in these areas, while supporting semantic interoperability in a manner that reinforces the collaboration through cooperative and coordinated cognition activities of the participants. Coordinated cognitive activities elucidate a group direction-making process that allows creation of similar knowledge among group members through sharing and interpreting of information. This paper elaborates on key human interoperability policy challenges and the role of coordinated human behavior and cognition, and the methodologies for developing knowledge-based service systems. In addition, it provides a feasible example to validate the effectiveness of semantic interoperability for the group members to achieve high group performance where human play a key role in knowledge-based environments.

Nowadays,the security of web pages becomes very *** and Lu had proposed a PCA-based watermarking scheme for web pages;their scheme is an effective tool for tamper-proof of web ***,the PCA algorithm is time-consuming,especially when the size of web page is too ***-Chi Wu et *** a web page watermarking scheme base on hash functions,claiming that their scheme is faster than the PCA *** this paper,we proposed a new web page watermarking *** results show out that the proposed scheme is much faster than the PCA algorithm and hash functions,and,at the same time,our scheme makes some improvements on Zhao and Lu's scheme.

We study multi-robot routing problems (MR-LDR) where a team of robots has to visit a set of given targets with linear decreasing rewards over time, such as required for the delivery of goods to rescue sites after disasters. The objective of MR-LDR is to find an assignment of targets to robots and a path for each robot that maximizes the surplus, which is defined to be the total reward collected by the team minus its total travel cost. We develop a mixed integer program that solves MR-LDR optimally with a flow-type formulation and can be solved faster than the standard TSP-type formulations but also show that solving MR-LDR optimally is NP-hard. We then develop an auction-based algorithm and demonstrate that it solves MR-LDR in seconds and with a surplus that is comparable to the surplus found by the mixed integer program with a 12 hour time limit.
