There are no unified normal forms of the descriptions for the User Interface Design Patterns until now,which leads to the great insufficiency in using several kinds of presentation styles to construct complex user interface;meanwhile it cannot meet the need of displaying the content of a hierarchical structure in the limited *** this paper a presentation style of the complex interface is *** on abstracting the interface presentation style,the standardized descriptions of interface design pattern are constructed;thus the complex interface modeling and target code automatic generation are finally implemented by customizing interface presentation *** research shows that this method can greatly support the complex interface design and realization,and enhance the efficiency of the user interface development.

Manufacturing technology opens new perspectives for tailored made parts. A new thermo-mechanically coupled forming process is used to affect the material properties at the microstructural level. With this process is possible to produce functional graded components. This means a steady progress of the microstructure's variation through at least one spatial dimension with the intention to establish macroscopic properties of the part. However, such manufacturing components need a sophisticated process design which takes into account the interaction between the manufacturing processes, the sequences of the manufacturing steps and the attributes of the part. Therefore we develop a methodology for the synthesis of the manufacturing process for these components. It starts with the description of the part and uses an expert system to create the sequence of the manufacturing steps. The key factor of the Expert System is the synthesis of manufacturing functions. Hence, we are developing an ontology to support this. The focus of this paper is the ontology's design. We describe the modeling of the ontology starting with the knowledge extraction of the manufacturing process. Finally we apply the ontology on an example.

Technological development has become so manifest in all fields that it is now highly crucial to take it into consideration whenever possible. Open source software (OSS) has becoming widely adopted by commercial, public and academic organisations. Currently, there is increasing interest and demand in the existing applications of OSS in all fields all over the world. OSS has increased in prominence in the last decade, mostly due to the success of well-known software organisations such as Apache, Mozilla, Linux and Guice. As these organisations have become more dependent on software, the effective management of software evolution (SE) becomes more critical to an organizationpsilas success. Therefore, the provision of well-evolved OSS has become an urgent issue in these days and will be so in the future. Therefore, the major challenge in OSS is how to evolve its environment, especially improvements in the security and quality of these systems. The main aim of this paper is to measure the evolution of OSS using, Eclipse metrics (EM), with Guice software (GS) as a case study. In addition, this paper gives a brief literature review on OSS and how it has evolved.

Load balancing among application layer peer-to-peer (P2P) networks is critical for its effectiveness but, are considered to be the most important development for next-generation Internet infrastructure. Most structured P2P systems rely on ID-space partitioning schemes to solve the load imbalance problem and have been known to result in an imbalance factor of ¿ (log N) in the zone sizes. Two important contributions to minimize the same are proposed earlier. First, the virtual-server-based load balancing problem using an optimization-based approach and deriving proposal in general and its advantages over previous strategies. Second, characterizing the effect of heterogeneity on load balancing algorithm performance and the conditions in which heterogeneity may be easy or hard to deal with based on an extensive study of a wide spectrum of load and capacity scenarios.

This proposal is based on the implementation and the development of tools to analyse the decision making indicators in the epidemiology for the ministry of the heath. We introduced new tools of data warehouse and data mining to improve epidemiological knowledge specific to the Leishmaniasis in South of Morocco. In order to contribute to the planning of the prevention and the control against leishmaniasis in Morocco, we developed an information system to facilitate the decision-making process, access to the information and data storage in the data warehouse. In phase I, we have considered the density of the sandflies population when taking into account the time and climate change. In phase II, We have extended the work by including the transmission of Leishmaniasis to humans, we are interested in patients with suspected Leishmania infection. This allowed us to develop two different patterns. The concept of Data Mining is used to select, to explore and to transform our epidemic data to a prediction index. In this paper we review the type of decision aids which has been successfully implemented and that we have provided to the responsible of the population health to make better decisions.

Software process is the most important part of software project management, and software process models are important means of implementing the software process in any software organization. When there is need to improve the software process, then the need to improve the work-task part (software process models) of the software process must arise. As, there is need of increasing the commitment of software project managers through out the software development life cycle (SDLC), so we need to give them the list of activities in Waterfall Model, which should be made efficient by the software development team, to get the 80% productivity (output) easily, by reducing the effort of software development and ultimately increasing the performance of the software process. So, the idea of 80/20 rule (Pareto Principle, 1935) can be applied in the software engineering process model, in this regard. The Pareto Principle (1935) directed us to focus on what is really important in any field and field's work. Software process is most important part of software project management (SPM). This is also then ultimately needed for software project management (SPM) improvement. Our main research work is to improve the work-task part of the software process (i.e. software process models by applying the Pareto Principle - 80/20 Rule (1935) (or law of vital few) (1935), in the software engineering process models (or work-task part of the software process). This will be to facilitate the software project manager, using the software process models practically more efficient than without application of 80/20 Rule in software engineering Waterfall model. Neural networks play an important role in artificial intelligence application domains. In most of applications, neural networks are often implemented in software form. Although the software implementation of neural networks provides flexibility, the computation speed is limited due to the sequential machine architecture. In most applications using artificial neural networks, the learning procedure is carried off-line. A large amount of mathematic operations are needed when learning task of neural networks is performed. The software implementation of neural network systems can only work well using high performance computers. The learning performance is not adequate when it is implemented on embedded systems. Following the development of modern semiconductor technologies, people attempt to realize the neural networks by hardware in order to improve the performance. Designs utilizing special architectures and parameters to achieve the performance were proposed in the past. This paper proposes a high efficiency and generic neural network hardware architecture. The architecture uses the toroidal series multiple data stream to process the back propagation neural network operations, which has the full function of recall and learning capabilities. Users can adjust the number of processor elements (PEs) in the system based on the requirement of the applications by setting the values in registers. Since the proposed system is developed in hardware, it can be integrated into embedded systems easily. The experimental results show that the system can reach much higher performance by using fewer logical elements while maintaining flexibility.

Recent years have seen a tremendous growth in the number of research and development groups at universities, research labs, and companies that have started using Boolean Satisfiability (SAT) algorithms for solving different decision and optimization problems in computer Science and Engineering. This has lead to the development of highly-efficient SAT solvers that have been successfully applied to solve a wide-range of problems in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Networking, Fault Tolerance, Security, and Scheduling. Examples of such problems include automatic test pattern generation for stuck-at faults (ATPG), formal verification of hardware and software, circuit delay computation, FPGA routing, power leakage minimization, power estimation, circuit placement, graph coloring, wireless communications, wavelength assignment, university classroom scheduling, and failure diagnosis in wireless sensor networks. SAT solvers have recently been extended to handle Pseudo-Boolean (PB) constraints which are linear inequalities with integer coefficients. This feature allowed SAT solvers to handle optimization problems, as opposed to only decision problems, and to be applied to a variety of new applications. Recent work has also showed that free open source SAT-based PB solvers can compete with the best generic Integer Linear Programming (ILP) commercial solvers such as CPLEX. This tutorial is aimed at introducing the latest advances in S AT technology. Specifically, we describe the simple new input format of SAT solvers and the common SAT algorithms used to solve decision/optimization problems. In addition, we highlight the use of SAT algorithms in solving a variety of EDA decision and optimization problems and compare its performance to generic ILP solvers. This should guide researchers in solving their existing optimization problems using the new SAT technology. Finally, we provide a prospective on future work on SAT.

A new instrument for measuring cooling air flow of car radiator is introduced after analyzing existing instruments and methods,and the measuring principle and design method of new instrument is described in detail ***-line measurement can be realized by the new instrument,and the information of cooling air flow distribution can also be got during the measuring *** addition,the new instrument could recognize the wind direction *** test results demonstrated that the instrument is reliable and the measurement accuracy is high,so the instrument is worth being spread and applied.
