This study presents stress analysis of sheave wheel by a finite element analysis model and experimental *** of stress field under two kinds of load condition was carried out with *** corresponding relationship between stress and load of hoist as well as sheave wheel's phase angle were *** field experiments of sheave wheel stress under three kinds of conditions,which were no-load,heavy-load and rope-slack,was conducted using the wireless stress monitoring system and the experimental data were analyzed and compared with simulation *** is found that the spoke of sheave wheel is the ideal position for stress ***,the spoke's stress increases linearly with the hoist load and changes periodically as sheave wheel ***,it is verified that the hoist parameters such as load,displacement and velocity can be monitored real-timely by calculation of the detected stress changes of sheave wheel,which proves the validity and feasibility of this novel monitoring method of hoist.

The problem of sensor set selection for cooperative spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks is considered in this paper. The cooperative gain of the newly added cooperative sensor decreases and converges to zero as the number of cooperative sensors increases, but the consumption of system resources grows approximately linearly with the number of cooperative sensors, therefore, the number of cooperative sensors to use is a compromise between sensing performance and resources usage efficiency. A greedy based cooperative sensor set selecting algorithm is proposed which can use a threshold acquired by compromising between sensing performance and resources usage efficiency to select a cooperative sensor set. Numerical results illustrate the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed sensor set selecting algorithm.

This paper is to elaborate on the factors that influence the learners' language acquisition in multimedia environment. It first describes a course-support hypermedia language- learning environment based on computer-assisted language learning (CALL) system. And then it does some research to identify positive and negative factors influencing the effectiveness of CALL system. The factors considered in this study were the teaching style, help options and student's motivation. After a period of two-year-research and test, the corresponding data analyses and results of this study confirmed the influence of the above factors on the effectiveness and usefulness of CALL system.

Groups in joint operations simulation are extremely complex, and traditional individual-centered entity modeling technology can’t meet the needs of joint operations simulation anymore. The development of groups’ organizational structure model is the basis for in-depth study. Organizational structure models for multi-agent systems are not suitable for describing the organizational groups in joint operations simulation. In order to fulfill the requirements of large-scale joint operation simulations, we apply the description logic of tasks to modeling the organizational structure of virtual groups, and on that basis we develop a group organizational structure model named GRNA. The model contains two sub models: cognition sub-model based on domain ontology and interaction sub- model reflecting the collaboration between tasks. Through the case study, we show that the model can describe norms and abilities of groups and provide powerful services for decidable deduction of achievability of organization tasks.

Currently image denoising uses various threshold methods based on wavelet *** this paper,we propose an effective and novel dual-threshold denoising method that uses a piecewise and nonlinear function and selects two thresholds for every image subband,noise threshold T_n and signal threshold *** we further study the subband coefficients:those which are lower than T_n are noises and will be removed,those which are higher than T are signals and will be retained and those which are between T_n and T will be handled by their "intensity factors".The method powerfully distinguishes the noise and the signal, overcomes the limitations of the traditional methods of the wavelet denoising using single threshold to deal with the *** show that the method is better than other traditional ones in terms of SNR and visual effects.

This paper proposes a rough set based approach that can explore parameter weights of product satisfaction. The lower approximation and positive regions in rough sets are applied to estimate the importance of the weights. Compared with other methods, our method does not require any prior knowledge and can get more information from the system itself. To compare with K-W test, a case study of car grades is performed. As reported in the case study, more system information can be obtained than other methods using our approach. It is shown that the result only depends on the data, and thus, it is more reasonable.
