In a multi-projector display system, geometric calibration is usually time-consuming and tedious. In this paper, we propose a multi-projector tiled display method with geometry parameters estimation. The method is used for analytic curved surface, such as cylindrical or spherical shaped display. The calibration process is automatic by using computer vision techniques;and in order to estimate the screen and projector parameters, a camera stereo pair with given internals is used to reconstruct 3D points on the screen. In this parametric approach, the camera doesn't have to cover the entire screen and the projectors can be placed roughly, which give the flexibility for various multi-projector display system. For scene rendering, our implementation is distributed, which is more efficient than the image transfer method with modern GPU. At last, we analyzed the effectiveness of the proposed method. Experimental results show that our approach supplied sufficient accuracy and enhanced the immersiveness.

The guidelines for hospital-acquired infections (HAI) published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is most comprehensive and detailed. However, it requires a large amount of resources to implement the guidelines in hospital settings, particularly for data collection and analysis. HAI surveillance is time-consuming and costly, and hence HAI surveillance in many hospitals couldn't regularly be performed. Nowadays, most hospitals in Taiwan have adopted electronic medical record systems to support day-to-day clinical practice. As the result of popularity of EMRs, the daily HAI surveillance tasks can be eased and automated. According to that, we have established a HAI surveillance information system (BASIS) based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology for integration of surveillance data, distributed in different hospital information systems. We also have developed the detection algorithms for detection suspicious cases. Thus, the HASIS can provide both abstract and complete electronic surveillance information, and detect suspected infection cases. Consequently, it can support infection control professionals' daily surveillance tasks more responsively and efficiently.

Based on continuity assumption of fluid, we established a mathematical model of ion transport in the rectangular Nanofluidic Channel with Poisson-Boltzmann equation and modified N-S equations. Through equation derivation, the electric potential distribution function was solved. Next we analyzed how the distribution of the ion electric potential distribution was charged by the solution concentration, the surface charge density and the channel height. Thus we have got the curves between Electric potential distribution and these parameters. Therefore, the main influential factors of the electric potential are the electrolyte concentration, the surface charge density and the channel height. Hardware curriculums are important specialized courses not only in computerscience education, but also in electronic, mechanical, automation and other related engineering professional education. As these courses request difficult theoretical knowledge, strong engineering practice and high technological application, students unable to easily grasp the knowledge. In this paper we propose the construction of a series of simple experiments for the hardware curriculums. The experiments integrate knowledge such as digital circuits, computer organization, computer interface, assembly language, EDA technology, etc. We build a toy CPU and an interface chip, which can control a light-emitting diode long light, blinking on or turn off. Experimental results reveal that our idea is feasible and efficient. The education reform can bring a positive effect on improving teaching quality, enhancmg students' learning interests and training student's research ability.

A 3.1-10.6 GHz ultra-wideband (UWB) low noise amplifier (LNA) utilizing a simple high-pass input matching network is proposed. The broadband matching and the flat gain are two important factors for the broadband circuits. Besides those factors, the minimal Noise Figure (NF), good linearity, and the lower power consumption are also desired. The LNA is designed in the standard 0.18 mu m CMOS technology. The input reflection coefficient S-11 and output reflection coefficient S-22 are less than -7.8dB and -11dB. It achieved maximum power gain 10 dB and the minimum noise figure is 1.75dB. It consumes 12mW from a 1.8-V supply voltage. The designed system demonstrates relatively suitable response in different temperature and Variation 10% supply voltage.
