AGRI-SEARCH is a bi-lingual search engine designed specifically for the agricultural domain. The techniques used are very generic and hence can be applied to any sub domain within agriculture. This search engine is basically intended for the Indian Farmer who is not English Literate. Since, a vast amount of information is available on the web related to agriculture is in English, this information cannot be accessed by the Indian farmer. The AGRI-SEARCH provides translation facility which allows the farmer to access this information in his native *** language selected is Hindi which is the national language of India and is spoken and understood by most of the rural masses. We have used Nutch Frame work for implementing Crawling, Indexing, and Searching of the web pages. Our system also employs Bi-lingual translation technology to present information in the native language of the user (in our case the two languages available are HINDI and ENGLISH).

Upon analysis and summery of the theory and technical research of new energy in rural area, this paper achieved rural new energy GIS system based on B/S structure applying Microsoft's NET as the development platform and C# as the programming language. With the energy statistics and planning program as the core of process and analysis module, this system builds up a solid document management and functional module on GUI display applying the key technology such as KML and Web-GIS, which eventually enable the display of the energy information on Google Earth and Google Maps. In addition, a test case prefecture has been taken to test on the system’s main modules preliminarily. The result indicates that the system realized the function of energy statistics and planning effectively, with a good interaction and convenient performance.

Integrating biological monitoring method with computer vision technology, acute toxicity test was performed to study the toxic effects of Cu2+ with different concentration on zebrafish(Danio rerio). The Behavioral response of school of fish in a tank was quantified and an early warning system was developed in the study. In the system, the real-time quantified data were saved to database and the Multiclass Support Vector Machine(SVM) was used to make comprehensive assessment according to behavioral difference of fish school in different toxicity environment. The prediction accuracies are satisfactory, which indicate that this approach is effectual for assessment of water quality.
