This paper studied the relationship between Antiphospholipid syndrome(APS) and placenta *** 180 cases of pregnant women with APS and compared them with other 300 normal pregnant women(chosen randomly) during the period from August 2007 to March *** samples were taken to assess the rate of placenta previa for the pregnant women with and without *** pregnant results were compared between the group of women with placenta previa intercurrent APS and the group of women only with placenta *** found the rate of placenta previa in APS pregnant women were significantly higher than that in normal pregnant *** premature labor and flooding in APS pregnant women were also significantly higher than in normal *** should diagnose and treat as early as possible the APS to improve the results of pregnancy.

Objective To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of the oblique vaginal septum syndrome. Methods Sixty-one women with the oblique vaginal septum syndrome were analyzed. Results The clinical presentation depended on whether the obstruction of vaginal oblique septum was complete or *** common clinical presentation of type I was dysmenorrhea shortly after menarche,while that of typeⅡandⅢwas abnormal vaginal *** most optimal treatment was complete vaginal oblique septum resection. Conclusion Early accurate diagnosis and appropriate surgical intervention are very important for patitents with the oblique vaginal septum syndrome,which can offer complete relief of symptoms and better prognosis.

Objective To identify the predictors determining embryo quality and pregnancy rate in human in vitro fertilization. Methods Long term pituitary down-regulations,achieved with long and short acting GnRH agonist,were performed for patients undergoing in vitro fertilization(n=123). Results Pregnancy rate declined significantly in female patients aged >40(P<0.05).Compared with female patients with secondary infertility,patients with primary infertility were younger,had significantly higher percentages of high quality embryos but lower pregnancy *** quality might be better in the short-acting GnRHa ***, endometrial thickness and clinical pregnancy rate were significantly lower in the short-acting GnRHa group compared with long-acting GnRHa group. Conclusion This work suggests that type of infertility and agonist protocol may be associated with embryo quality. Significant predictors of clinical pregnancy are type of infertility,type of agonist protocol and endometrial thickness.

Objective To analyses the prenatal screening situation in Sichuan area. Methods The concentrations of AFP,freeβhCG and uE3 in the serum of mid-trimester(15-20 weeks pregnancy) pregnant women were *** risk of Down syndrome,Trisomy 18 and Nervous tube defect were evaluated by using the risk evaluation software. Results In the three years,the total rate of prenatal screening was 5.08%.Among the high risk and low risk pregnant women,the total positive rate was 23.68%and 8.59%*** the high risk group,the positive rate of Down syndrome,Trisomy 18 and Nervous tube defect was 21.46%,0.96%and 1.26%respectively;in the low risk group it was 7.34%,0.13%and 1.11%,respectively. Conclusion As the second level intervention measure of birth defect,prenatal screening plays an important role in decreasing birth defect rate,but it should be further popularized.

Accurate diagnosis of premature rupture of membranes(PROM) remains a clinical challenge.A simple and rapid bedside test would help clinician confirm the *** used a protein array to screen cervical-vaginal fluid(CVF) and amniotic fluid samples and found a couple of novel biomarker:soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1) and Axl receptor tyrosine kinase(Axl).The mean concentration of these two proteins was 85 and 482 times higher separately in 30 healthy AF samples than in 110 CVF samples of normal *** huge concentration difference formed the rationale to use sICAM-1 and Axl as indicators for AF leakage from amniotic cavity to vagina in *** comparing 110 CVF samples of PROM and 110 CVF samples of normal pregnancies,the diagnostic value for PROM was demonstrated by their high sensitivity and specificity(96.4%and 92.7%for sICAM-1,and 92.4%and 90.4%for Axl, respectively),suggesting a rapid immunoassay could be developed using sICAM-1 and/or Axl for clinical diagnosis.
