It reviews the main methods of the study of railway capacity in the world. But in China, the defini-tion of railway capacity is different from the other countries, so the main methods of calculating railway ca-pacity are not suit to Chinese railway. We introduce the coefficient of removal analysis method to calculatethe capacity of railway with automatic block section, but its calculating result isn’t satisfying. As computertechnology improves, the auto-drawing train working diagram (TWD) has become a trend. It proposes a newapproach to calculate the railway capacity, and the calculating method is based on auto-drawing TWD andcomputer simulation. The goal of this new method is to draw the maximum number of common freight trainpaths into the original timetable where passenger train paths and important freight train paths are exist andfixed.

Inhigher vocation education, interest is important not onlyfor students to learn well but also for teachers to teachwell, especially in practical teaching. In modernizationeducation principles, students play active roles in educa-tional activities. Teaching methodologies should takepeople as the foremost. Learning guidance by interest iswidely used in high vocation education, which promotesstudents’ subjective activity Practical teaching is a keyprocedure to stimulate students’ interest and help thembecome interested in their major. Therefore, it is neces-sary to do research on the relationship between learningguidance by interest and teaching effect. To demonstratethe influence of interest in teaching activities, this paperproposes an Interesting-Efficient (I-E) mode for learningguidance, and discusses the I-E mode in detailed *** paper first analyzes the importance of interest in higher vocation education. Then, I-E mode oflearning guidance is proposed to describe the relationship between interestingness and the average teachingeffect and some theoretical analysis is conducted which provides scientific guidance to teachers when theydesign points of interest in one course.
