It has become one of the focus topics that using CT (computer Technology) to obtain asphalt internal microstructure, but combining CT scan cross-sectional different characteristics to carry out digital image processing is rare at this stage, technical means that distinguishing internal material are still relatively rough and arbitrary large, can not be combined between digital image processing and mixture not damage test together effectively. This paper carried out image segmentation based on EM algorithm of Gaussian mixture model (GMM), analysis microstructure uniformity quality of asphalt mixture, and explores internal volume composition case by testing deeply. The results show that Gaussian Mixture Model(GMM) used in this paper can handle CT scan tomographic images better, judge aggregate distribution of asphalt mixture by sector scan method, and evaluate uniformity distribution of asphalt mixture aggregates through aggregate particles area ratio statistical analysis, the research results of this paper can provide reference significance for asphalt microscopic field study.

With the acceleration of urbanization, high-rise residential buildings have dominated the present residential buildings in which it has become an irreversible trend to apply the solar water heating systems Taking the common layout models of the high-rise residential buildings in Jinan City as examples, this paper will create models with the help of sunlight analysis software TSUN8.0 to make a simulation analysis of the valid sunlight hours of the southern facade in these buildings, in the premise that they are in line with the planning requirements, thus we may work out reasonable layout programs for the solar water heating system's application into the facade of high-rise residential buildings under different layouts, which can provide the architects with basis in the design of integrating the buildings with the system.

This paper discusses a tunnel whose entrance region is the main engineering background. Based on tunnel geological exploration report, we make the model. By establishing model and using numerical simulation software SIGMA/W and COMSOL to simulate the distortion in seepage condition, we find as tunnel excavation goes on, the pore water pressure of tunnel changes and it leads to infiltration of water in the tunnel, and the deformation of soil increases. The ground surface may sink if the evacuation goes on without taking actions, which is not safe for the buildings around. In case of this situation, the pore pressure of the tunnel around should be controlled from decreasing too fast. The result from our model is just like the result by monitoring measurement. The result shows the feasibility of software modeling in the prediction of tunnel seepage situation.

Parking charges is a widely used and effective means to improve parking demand management. Based on the structural equation theory, the model about the influence factors related to the acceptability of parking charges was established. Eight factors were selected for the modeling, including problem perception, willingness, perceived effectiveness, perceived benefits, perceived freedom, perceived fairness, social norms and accountability. And a survey of two charging schemes was undertaken in Nanjing concerning influence factors of the acceptability. Model verification and path coefficient test were conducted based on the established structural equation model by AMOS. It is indicated that the most significant factors affecting the acceptability of parking charges measure are perceived effectiveness and willingness. Finally, according to the conclusions, the suggestions of improving acceptability of parking charges were presented.

Online fault diagnosis for the train axle box bearings is a wide and important study topic since it plays a critical role in train safety. Due to the vibration signals' nonlinear and non-stationary characteristics, accuracies of the methods such as neural network and hierarchical clustering are less than 90% which are not satisfying. In this paper, kernel principal component analysis (KPCA), a nonlinear process technique, was to tackle each signal's 18 feature parameters for extracting the main features to reflect the signal characteristics. Then, in fault pattern recognition, support vector machine (SVM) based on genetic algorithm (GA) was used to identify the current fault type of the bearings, including normal, outer ring fault, inner ring fault and rolling element fault. The results show that the prediction accuracy of GA-SVM method reaches to 96.33%, which is quite effective.

To study the dynamic variation of protein components and contents in Antheraea pernyi, 2D-PAGE, in this job, was used to investigate embryo development. Some special protein spots expression profiles changed obviously were analyzed by mass spectrometry. 2D-PAGE results showed that the protein spots increased from 370 at the development stage of 12 h to 422 at 300 h. Eighteen special protein spots were identified by LC-MS/MS, and 8 kinds of proteins are found to include heat shock proteins families, Vitellogenin, KK-42-binding protein, actin-depolymerizing factor 1, etc., which are mainly involved in some important processes. Analyze the function of those proteins, so as to accumulate basic information on embryonic development in A. pernyi.

Improving the quality of life with the least expense has been conducted by incorporating advanced technology, especially for Personal Health Devices (PHDs), into the medical service market. To guarantee the compatible extensibility of the relative health system, standards which manage and send information from the users of PHDs have been defined recently by the Continua Alliance, IEEE Standards Association, and the IEEE-EMBS affiliated 11073 Personal Health Data Working Group. ECG device is a typically one and is widely used in the monitoring and diagnosing of heart disease. Part 10406 is a device specialization of basic ECG, 1- to 3-lead ECG, and approved by IEEE 11073 Standards Committee until September 2011 [1]. We designed a 3-lead ECG system, which might be the first ECG device based on the 11073-10406 and android platform. Such a device could increase the interconnectivity of the ECG system.

We carried out a survey to determine the infection rates of Schistosoma bovis, endemic to the Northern parts of Duiem district, White Nile State, Sudan. Three villages, namely, Al-Oshara, Al-Hussien and Al-Goz were selected for the survey which was conducted during the three seasons of summer, winter and autumn from July 2011 to June 2012. Fecal samples were collected and examined for detecting Schistosoma bovis eggs. The incidence rate of infection in cattle was calculated seasonally. The overall incidence of Schistosoma bovis in the study area was 6.6%, where 19 animals of 287 examined were infected. The highest rate of infection was in Al- Hussien village in the summer season being 16.1%. The incidence was high in calves (>2 years) being (13.4%), but it decreased according to sex which it was (8.2%) in females and (5.9%) in males. In the same study period about 2911 of Bulinus truncates snails the intermediate host of Schistosoma bovis were collected. The infection rate in snails were calculated which being (4%).

This paper reports a questionnaire survey which is conducted at the iUser conference in 2011. The iUser 2011 conference is expected to be the platform to discover the usability and user experience design practitioners from both academic and industry settings in Malaysia. A survey is adopted from the literature that attempted to assess the practice of user-centered design among Human-computer Interaction (HCI) practitioners. The results reveal a contrary findings to the characteristics of attendees of HCI-focused conference in other countries. While the practice of user experience has gained more attention, usability issues is still at its infancy. The attendees were new to the terminologies and still learning on the fundamental of usability and user experience. The results show that the conference participants were unable to represent the HCI practitioners in the local settings. Consequently, in order to study the practice of user experience, researchers need to locate the right HCI practitioners who qualified to be classified as the community of practice who shared the same values towards embedding the user experience techniques in the existing technology development process.
