Shape-from-shading (SFS) is a class of three dimension shape reconstruction method from one or more images. The development of SFS method mainly depends on two factors named research on the reflectance models and computing algorithms. Most existing SFS methods are with Lambertian reflectance under orthogonal projection. This paper proposed new SFS shape reconstruction algorithm with hybrid reflectance model and perspective projection. Firstly, imaging map equation under perspective projection is formulated based on hybrid reflectance model. Then a static Hamilton-Jacobi(H-J) equation is used to describe the imaging map equation. The SFS problem turns into viscosity solution of static H-J equation. And the H-J equation is solved by fast sweeping numerical approximation method. At last, experiments are performed to illustrate the proposed method. Experimental results on the synthetic images show that the proposed method can deal with specular reflectance. Experimental results of our captured images show that the proposed method is effective when dealing with real image.

A new kind of 3-d.o.f. vibration platform is introduced, which may be used in active vibration control, presion manufacturing, and other precision positioning fields. The platform is mainly comprised of four parts: the top board of the platform, flexure hinges, amplification mechanisms and gaint magnetostrictive actuators(GMAs). Among them, finite element analysis is taken on flexure hinges;the constitutive model of GMA is described. Eventually, the dynamic model of the system is established. According to the model, a simulation system based on SIMULINK is carried out. The simulation results verify the model, and may serve for the active control analysis of the platform system.
