Despite advances in chemotherapy the 5-year survival rate of cancer still remains desperately low due to the severe toxic side effects and multidrug resistance(MDR).Herein,codelivery of apoptosis peptide/p53 DNA is proposed for adjuvant therapy in order to reduce adverse effects of chemotherapeutics and improve sensitivity of tumor cells to them(Fig.1).
