The paper illuminates the designed automatic weld control system. The RAC calibration arithmetic considering radial distortion is introduced, and according to the actual conditions of this weld system, the inchoate rapid calibration arithmetic is designed. Finally combined with the precision characteristic of the non-linear RAC calibration arithmetic and the concision characteristic of the inchoate rapid arithmetic, the improved automatic calibration arithmetic with six parameters is proposed, which achieves satisfied result.

Ontologies are being used nowadays in many areas, including software engineering, business, and biology, to evaluate their suitability for representing and simulating domain processes. To assist users in developing and maintaining ontologies a number of tools have been developed. The representation of knowledge bases and conceptual domain models, hierarchical process, the structural components that participate in the process and the roles that they play in a complex domain, is therefore a major challenge for computer scientists for this complex domain. Without aiming at exhaustiveness, our study combining ontology and Petri Nets (PNs) tries to identify some promising tracks in this area, which seems a rather interesting alternative in the optics of the expressive power of the deductive representations. The context of our work consists to develop a graphical knowledge model for complex domain. This paper presents the OPN-Ont (Object Petri Nets Ontology) model. In this system ontology is represented in the PNs format, which allows verification of formal properties and qualitative and quantitative simulation. It leads to represent and exploit the different ontological components: concepts, relations and requests. The illustration of our model is made in biological domain where process supports methods for qualitative and quantitative reasoning.

This paper discusses a control method of a tele-operation system for an underwater manipulator robot. Since fluid drag affects the dynamics of the underwater manipulator and degrades the accuracy of the control, it is necessary to decrease the influence of water. Generally, in order to compensate the fluid drag, theoretical approaches are used, but the applications are restricted by the simple modeling of the robot. Instead, we adopt a method to compensate the drag using a real-time fluid simulation. By using the simulation, the method can be applied to a robot with a complicated shape. For the method, we develop a real-time fluid simulator using smoothed particle hydrodynamics. The simulator calculates the fluid drag with the position of the underwater manipulator, and the drag is fed back to the controller to eliminate the real fluid drag. Finally, experiments have been performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The purpose of this work is to introduce a new physical modeling tool in Mat-lab/Simulink R2012b: 2nd Generation of SimMechanics in Simscape tool, and apply to build as well as to control a Biomechanical system: a powered gait training system designed for hemiplegic patients. Firstly, a brief introduction about Simscape and2nd Generation in SimMechanics was shown. After that, in order to show a practical application of this tool, the process of building and converting the model of the powered gait system for hemiplegia patients from 3D software Inventor model to SimMechanics 2nd Generation was described. In addition, the modeled system is also controlled and made comparison the received results between using classical PID control and artificial intelligence Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) method. The results showed that we could build a good physical model by using this new tool. Besides, the simulated results also characterized that FLC controller has the better performance compared to PID control method in term of response, disturbance rejection.
