The remote upgrade intelligent instrument is designed using in system programming technology, embedded microcontroller and net work technology. Upgrade hardware platform of intelligent instrument is constructed with W78E516 single chip computer, in system electricity programming analogue circuit EPAC and digital circuit EPDC. Remote hardware function reconstructing and the system upgrade principle of intelligent instrument are described in detail. Hardware and software design methods are stressed;the reliability and keeping secret of system remote upgrade are discussed. The testing of hardware and software has been done and the experiment results show that system has the advantages of stable performance and flexible operation, and it could realize remote auto upgrade.

Although software services and service-oriented architecture have been researched widely, most existing research has focused on tools, process and methods of service engineering, and service semantics, and leave the formal specification of many aspects of SOA unsolved yet. One imminent challenge is the lack of the fundamental theoretic study of service architecture evolution, which is critical due to the very dynamic nature of services and service-based systems. This paper contributes to the state of arts by proposing a methodology that supports dynamic service evolution with respect to an algebra model of SOA. In this paper we infer and define service evolution as a paradigm of algebraic homomorphism mapping that can facilitate the analysis of the service architecture evolution with the algebraic method, e.g., the closure and the consistency of service evolution. In this way we develop two types of different service architecture evolution: one is for the reconfiguration of service composition inside a service system;and the other is for the collaboration composition between two service systems. The model has been applied to support the evolution of cloud-based services (as SaaS) which accept pervasive/mobile accesses. A case study combining with the transaction management and service adaptation is carried out in a context-aware tourism service application running in a multi-touch multi-user table providing "intelligent" offering of tourism information. Conclusions are drawn and future work is identified.

system virtual machine, kernel virtualization in kernel space and kernel virtualization in user space are the three virtualization technologies for Windows programs running on Linux operating system. system virtual machine technology can support Linux operating system to install and run Windows operating system and its programs by simulating the complete or a subnet of hardware. However, the other two virtualization technologies respectively emulate the function of Windows kernel in the Linux kernel space and in Linux user space. Because the three virtualization technologies have different principles and methods of realization, the same Windows programs running on them have different performance under the same condition. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the system virtual machine, kernel virtualization in kernel space and kernel virtualization in user space. Using VMware Workstation, Longene and Wine as the typical representative of the three virtualization technologies, we measure the performance of the three virtualization technologies by the method of benchmark application, and compare them with the test results on the native Windows XP. And the experimental results demonstrate that Wine has the better performance, compared with Windows programs running on the VMware Workstation and Longene.

This paper proposes a Stochastic Activity Networks (SANs) based approach to performance analysis of a conferencing framework compliant with the IP multimedia core network subsystem specification. The proposed approach relies on the OsMoSys modeling methodology and applies some concepts of component software engineering to the development of formal models. The paper introduces the possibility of building template models in order to enable the definition of families of models and describes the implementation of a library of reusable SANs modeling the components of the conferencing framework. Starting from the model library, we analyze the performance of a current implementation of the conferencing framework by instantiating and composing SAN models. Scalability and computational complexity are also addressed. We validate the resulting model of the conferencing system and discuss the advantages of the proposed approach through a comparative analysis with the results of an experimental campaign conducted over a real-world testbed implementation.

This paper presents application of a CHB inverter based SESS. CHB inverter is characterized by cascade connection of multiple single-phase H-bridge (or full bridge) inverter cells. CHB inverter can make SESS flexible in circuit design, reduced voltage steps, and lower EMI. This paper presents circuit architecture design, modeling of CHB inverter based SESS, and control strategy focusing on power and energy balance control among Sub modules (SMs). The simulation results verify that the CHB inverter based SESS have a good performance in both fast power exchange and SM energy balance.
