AUV global path planning often achieves by genetic algorithm,due to genetic algorithm's local search ability is limited,resulting in two limitations:large amounts of algorithmic operations to meet the expected effect;there are some peaks after the inheritance in the *** we propose non-uniform encoding obstacle avoidance operator node deletion operator and smoothing *** result proves that the improved Genetic Algorithm finds a comparatively better path,achieves rapid and smooth global path planning by avoiding obstacle deleting redundant nodes and smooth operation.

Monitor psychological parameters of driver to detect fatigue state is an effective approach to prevent traffic accident. Heart rate variability (HRV) has its particular advantage comparing with other methods, such as its accuracy and conveniences. ECG is a regular signal to obtain HRV, but during driving condition, electrodes and wires need to be placed on driver's body and may disturb the driver's normal driving behavior. Since ballistocardiogram (BCG) can reflect heart movement, so HRV can also be extracted from BCG. This paper gives a novel noninvasive method to detect driver's BCG. Using PVDF sensor which is embedded in safety belt to get driver's BCG and designing hardware and software to amplify and convert it to digital signal for next processing. The result shows that the proposed device can obtain the driver's BCG properly and the HRV of the driver can be calculated accurately and conveniently, so the design is reasonable. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Shipboard arresting gear is a special aero-carrier unit that is designed to provide an efficient arrestment of the deck jet-fighters of masses 15-25 tons with landing velocities between 180 and 240 km/h. In the current paper, a full-scale arresting system model is created. Main elements of the arresting system consist of cables and hydraulic system. The model contains all basic elements of the real prototype and is employed to analyze the dynamic behavior of the arresting gear with different scenarios. The stroke of cam is enlarged to increase the capacity of arresting gear. The finite element methodology is employed to analyze the dynamic behavior of cables. The developed model is used to obtain parameters of the arresting process fighter displacement, velocity, acceleration vs. time, as well as pressure in the hydraulic system and tensile force in the cable.

The increasing number of mobile terminals facilitates the development of context-aware applications. However, developing a context aware application is still a complex work, which involves mechanisms of context acquisition and context processing. In order to release the developer’s burden, many context aware frameworks emerged. But none of them yet has sufficient consideration of mobile environment characteristics. Besides, restricted to the mobile platform, the developed application could not achieve cross-platform deployment. A cross-platform context-aware application developing framework for mobile terminals is proposed in this paper. This framework could shield system differences, centralize context acquisition, context modeling, context storing, context interpretation and context aggregation for many context aware applications on the same terminal. Applying the framework, data of same sensor would not be duplicated processed by many context aware applications. Context aware application would be built faster. And mobile terminal resources would be used more efficiently.

The problem of part-of-speech (POS) tagging or disambiguation is a practical issue in natural language processing (NLP) community, especially in the development of a machine translation system. The performance of POS tagging system may interference the subsequent analytical tasks in the translation process, and thereafter affects the overall translation quality. This paper presents a novel POS tagging system, iTagger, which is developed based on Selecting Base Classifiers on Bagging (SBCB) learning algorithm. In this work, the POS tagging task is regarded as a classification problem. Features such as the surrounding context of ambiguous candidates, n-gram information, lexical items and linguistic clues are used and automatically extracted from the annotated corpus. The proposed system has been compared against two state-of-the-art tagging methods, Hidden Markov Model (HMM) and Maximum Entropy. The empirical results conducted on the corpora of (English) Brown corpus, (Portuguese) Tycho Brahe corpus and the Chinese Tree Bank corpus reveal the competitiveness of iTagger. Moreover, the iTagger has been developed and released to the public as library and tool for various development and application purposes. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A Magnetorheologic fluid is a kind of intelligent material with high performance,its inductance has an important impact on its manufacturing and application,and thus it is important to investigate its *** paper mainly introduced the method using labview to develop an experimental system to investigate magnetorheologic fluids inductance,and built such a *** also discussed the composition and function,and designed the experimental *** detected and analysis magnetorheologic fluids inductance under different *** system utilized software to implement realtime sampling of time domain signals,display frequency domain signal and some other signal analysis *** results indicated that this system is feasible.

In view of popular files downloaded largely are similar to infectious diseases spreading,the multi-species epidemic model with spatial dynamics in medical area is applied to describe the file distribution process in P2 P file sharing *** on this basis,basic reproduction number is applied to describe the corresponding constraints in file transmission that can be used to express if the infectious diseases to *** simulation experiments,we demonstrated the basic reproduction number can be well used to calculate ability of file distribution and to reflect efficiency variation through different parameters values.
