AUV global path planning often achieves by genetic algorithm,due to genetic algorithm's local search ability is limited,resulting in two limitations:large amounts of algorithmic operations to meet the expected effect;there are some peaks after the inheritance in the *** we propose non-uniform encoding obstacle avoidance operator node deletion operator and smoothing *** result proves that the improved Genetic Algorithm finds a comparatively better path,achieves rapid and smooth global path planning by avoiding obstacle deleting redundant nodes and smooth operation.

In consideration of the characteristics of MES construction of steelmaking, hot rolling and cold rolling, this paper presents constructing MES framework for rapid construction of MES application system. MES framework is realized by multi-layer C/S mode, respectively, client system, interface agent, application server. Client system performs authority control of user operation, component upgrade, etc. Interface agent provides network access transparency. application server performs authority control, data subscribe/publish, Object-relational mapping, database access, component management, etc. Constructing MES application system with framework enables maximum code reuse, significantly improves development efficiency of MES system and boosts stability and maintainability of MES application system.

In the present scenario, a demand for the highly reliable and synchronous systems is seen. As a result, there has been a gradual shift to distributed systems from the centralized systems. There are few disadvantages for this system too. The most important one is that in a distributed system, the different nodes maintain their own time using local clocks and their time values may not be same for the different nodes. I.e. there is no global clock within the system so that that the various activities in the distributed environment can be synchronized. The various clocks in the system even if set to a common time value at an instant, drift apart due to unavoidable reasons. Hence some kind of continuous mechanism for synchronization is needed so that they can coordinate and work together to achieve the objectives of the distributed system. Two types of synchronization are possible- external synchronization and internal synchronization. In a real time scenario, it is important for the system to be synchronous with each other and with a common external reference time. This is called external synchronization. But in certain systems, it is only necessary for the nodes in the system to be synchronized with each other. This is called internal synchronization. In many applications, the relative ordering of events is more important than actual physical time. Here event ordering is done without clock time values. Hence, depending on the area and type of application, clock synchronization techniques used differs. In certain real time applications, the system requires to be both internally and externally synchronized. In such cases a centralized algorithm called the 'Cristian's' algorithm is used for synchronization. But this algorithm fails in situations where the time server fails. This paper suggests some methods to make the synchronization process distributed so that the disadvantages of the Cristian's algorithm can be nullified. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.

Shipboard arresting gear is a special aero-carrier unit that is designed to provide an efficient arrestment of the deck jet-fighters of masses 15-25 tons with landing velocities between 180 and 240 km/h. In the current paper, a full-scale arresting system model is created. Main elements of the arresting system consist of cables and hydraulic system. The model contains all basic elements of the real prototype and is employed to analyze the dynamic behavior of the arresting gear with different scenarios. The stroke of cam is enlarged to increase the capacity of arresting gear. The finite element methodology is employed to analyze the dynamic behavior of cables. The developed model is used to obtain parameters of the arresting process fighter displacement, velocity, acceleration vs. time, as well as pressure in the hydraulic system and tensile force in the cable.

The increasing number of mobile terminals facilitates the development of context-aware applications. However, developing a context aware application is still a complex work, which involves mechanisms of context acquisition and context processing. In order to release the developer’s burden, many context aware frameworks emerged. But none of them yet has sufficient consideration of mobile environment characteristics. Besides, restricted to the mobile platform, the developed application could not achieve cross-platform deployment. A cross-platform context-aware application developing framework for mobile terminals is proposed in this paper. This framework could shield system differences, centralize context acquisition, context modeling, context storing, context interpretation and context aggregation for many context aware applications on the same terminal. Applying the framework, data of same sensor would not be duplicated processed by many context aware applications. Context aware application would be built faster. And mobile terminal resources would be used more efficiently.
