In order to draw and analyze the current status of the research on the application of artificial intelligence in the field of health in China and abroad, we explored the hotspots and frontiers of this research field and the evolution path from 2012 to 2022. This research uses 3743 articles included in the core database of Web of Science and 728 related research articles contained in CNKI as the basis for data analysis, and uses the advantages of bibliometrics visualization software of CiteSpace and VOSviewer to study institutions, countries, authors and literature keywords. In this research area, the research of medical artificial intelligence is growing day by day. By analyzing and sorting out the current research status, research hotspots and evolution path in this field of research, and trying to point out the deficiencies in the research in this field in China, the paper hopes to provide more references for researchers and practitioners of medical artificial intelligence related research. © 2023 SPIE.

Deep neural networks usually contain tens to hundreds of millions of orders of learning parameters that provide the necessary representation to solve various visual tasks. But with the increase of the representational ability, the possibility of over-fitting also increase, which bring about poor generalization. In this paper, we propose MA (Maximum Activation point processing) algorithm, a new image data augmentation method which is designed to improve the generalization ability of the model and reduce the risk of overfitting. During the training process, the most discriminative part of the input image is searched for, and the model is driven to search for the supplementary information of the most important feature information by erasing the maximum attention image block. During this process, training images with different occlusion levels are generated as new inputs to the network and the model continues to be trained. The image erasure method based on the maximum activation point guidance only needs to modify the input image, which can effectively improve the robustness of the model to occluded image recognition, and can be integrated with various network structures. The effectiveness of our method is verified on the Cifar10, Cifar100 and Fashion-MNIST datasets. © 2020 IEEE.

Friction is an omnipresent phenomenon in all mechanical systems, inducing uncertainties and acting as a major disturbance in manufacturing technologies and in the field of the micro- and nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS & NEMS). The effects of friction can generally be compensated in the macro- and mesoscale applications. Multiple concurrent effects of various atomic-scale phenomena in the asperity contacts hinder, however, the prospect of a satisfactory insight into the fundamental tribological behaviour in the micro- and nanoscales. An in-depth fundamental understanding of nanoscale frictional behaviour is, thus, of outmost technological importance. An approach using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations is, hence, proposed in this work to study the tribological behaviour in the nanoscale (atomic) contacts. Recent thorough scanning probe microscopy experimental measurements of nanoscale friction on various thin-film materials are thus used as benchmark for MD simulations, allowing to attain important insights into the dynamics of a sliding tip on an aluminium thin-film surface while varying the normal loads. A sound basis for future more complex models, which will include adhesive effects and oxide layers, is thus accomplished, creating the preconditions to deepen further the fundamental knowledge of important tribological phenomena. © 2021 Proceedings of the 21st international Conference of the European Society for Precision engineering and Nanotechnology, EUSPEN 2021. The logical difference between knowledge bases is an important issue for the dynamic update of knowledge *** the logical difference for knowledge bases is intractable in general,and its result is not necessarily category in the sense that the logical difference between two theories in a class is possibly not in the same class any *** paper proves that computing logical difference between Horn theories is easier than that of CNF theories,and its result is still Horn expressible,though some deciding problems relating to logical difference are still intractable for Horn theories.A preliminary experiment illustrates an interesting phenomenon for the size of logical differences.

Accessibility often concerns compatibility with third-party software in order to meet the needs of users who are disabled. The AccessLecture/Math project seeks to transform the Apple iPad into a tool to make Math and Science class more accessible to visually impaired students. Accessing lecture material during lecture is a challenge to low vision students, in terms of the limited options that can be costly or can allow access only upon the completion of the lecture. This paper presents the strategies and techniques used to help the team gather the needs and tasks of math/science instructors and visually impaired students. These groups are distributed geographically and represent diverse constituencies. The analysis of the environment, user groups and the tasks related to the course lecture were modeled in order to ascertain domain knowledge and to specify the system’s requirements. © IFIP international Federation for Information Processing 2016.

With the rapid development of big data technologies, more and more companies focus on the integration and analysis of the large scale data which are produced when the companies run, in order to discovering and solving their inner problems. Therefore, a data analysis system is in urgent need to process the big data generated by heterogeneous data sources(e.g. online and offline structured data, semi-structured data and non-structured data). Unfortunately, there is no integrated tool which can universally collect heterogeneous data sources, accomplish data ETL, storage, analysis, and knowledge output. In this paper, an integrated tool: CertDB is proposed, which can provide one-stop services of data collection, analysis, and knowledge output. The CertDB provides services to both expert and inexperienced data analysts, by proving both graphical BI interface and programming interface.

The aim of this article is to provide an introduction and overview of recent advances in the key technologies and the supporting computerized systems and to indicate the trend of research and development in the area of computational numerical control machining. Three main themes of recent research in computer numerical control machining are simulation, optimization and automation, which form the key aspects of intelligent manufacturing in the digital- and knowledge-based manufacturing era. As the information and knowledge carrier, feature is the efficacious way to achieve intelligent manufacturing. From the regular-shaped feature to freeform surface feature (FSF), the feature technology has been used in manufacturing of complex parts, such as aircraft structural parts. The authors' latest research in intelligent machining is presented through a new concept of multi-perspective dynamic feature, for future discussion and communication with readers of this special issue. The multi-perspective dynamic feature concept has been implemented and tested in real examples from the aerospace industry and has the potential to make promising impact on the future research in the new paradigm of intelligent machining. The authors of this article are the guest editors of this special issue on computational numerical control machining. The guest editors have extensive and complementary experiences in both academia and industry, gained in China, United States, and United Kingdom.

Objective: Systematically review the value of second-trimester triple serum tests screening for Down's syndrome by using meta analysis. Method: The literature on PubM ed, Journal of Medicine Library, CNKI, Web of knowledge from January 2000 to April 2014 concerning second-trimester Down's syndrome screening was retrieved by computer or by hand. The literature was evaluated based on the QUADAS quality evaluation standard. The basic fourfold table data were extracted from the literature. Statistical analysis was conducted by using SPSS and Meta-Disc1.4. Results: Altogether 166 related articles were retrieved. According to the standard of literature selection and QUADAS quality evaluation, eventually 14 articles were brought into research. The meta analysis results of second-trimester triple serum tests screening for Down's syndrome were as follows: the sensitivity was 77%, the specificity was 93%, + LR was 13.92,-LR was 0.26, DOR was 40.82, the AUC of SROC was 0.9133, and Q*= 0.8458. In addition, the results of subgroup analyses based on age showed that the pooled sensitivity of high age group is higher than low age group, which indicated that the second-trimester serum triple serum tests screening for Down's syndrome could achieve better results for advanced maternal age. Conclusion: The second-trimester triple serum tests screening for Down's syndrome had a certain sensitivity and specificity, but for the regions with good medical and health care, they could consider increasing the serum screening indexes or adding ultrasound screening method so as to further improve the detection rate of Down's syndrome children and reduce the false-positive rate.
