The photo-generated carriers decay behavior of nanocrystalline β-SiC film grown by helicon wave plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition process at different substrate bias voltage is measured by microwave absorption technique. The probability of nanosecond fast decay of the photo-generated carriers concentration increases with substrate bias. The fast decay of photo generated carriers related to the radiative recombination process and substrate bias led to an increase in trap depth in the slow decay. The decay of nano-SiC thin films at different substrate bias voltage with different time constant indicates that the increase of substrate negative bias led to the increase in the density of deep trap levels and different trap level position related to different decay time. Photo-carrier transient behavior is closely related to the film microstructure, The high defect states density of nano-silicon carbide grain boundary lead to carriers trapping probability increase and the nonradiative recombination probability decreases. © 2012 ieee.

service-oriented architectures utilize loosely coupled services to support the constantly changing requirements of software by assembling services into composite applications. However, there is a tremendous amount of intellectual capital invested in legacy C and C++ applications. Reusing these applications will largely save the original investment. Several excellent projects concentrate on conversion of existing C and C++ applications into web services in a C++ runtime environment. However, in some special scenario, it is an alternative that deploys C/C++ web services in a runtime written in another language such as Java. This paper presents an automatic toolkit for exposing existing C/C++ applications as services which can be deployed in runtime environments written in Java programming language. © 2012 ieee.

In this paper, we demonstrate a novel architecture of variable weight Zero Cross Correlation code in the family of Spectral Amplitude Coding(SAC) Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) to be utilized in the triple play services of OCDMA applications based on the end users demand and requirements. This is achieved by adapting multiple weights of Zero Cross Correlation (ZCC) code onto one system to accommodate different Quality of service (QoS) requirements. The results are characterized by bit error rate (BER) and eye pattern simulated using OptiSystem software. Results proved a successful transmission of this scheme over 20km distance thus offering flexibility of independent QoS. It is also revealed that the performance is always better for users with larger number of code weight compared to those assigned with smaller code weight. © 2012 ieee.

Most sleep management systems lack reliable assessment of sleep quality and receive single information source only. In this paper, we proposed a sleep quality assessment mechanism based on the physiological sleep pattern with scenarios of multiple data sources. This mechanism provides an intuitive personalized sleep quotient which encourages users to have long-term usage of sleep management service. It further helps users to understand their sleep patterns and adjust sleep habits. In addition, sleep medical professionals can strengthen the diagnostic judgment with this assessment mechanism. © 2012 ieee.

Traditional development tools using assembly language takes a long time to accomplish the real-time control program. This paper presents a new platform for control system based on Matlab-DSP integrated development environment. The process of system design, simulation and experiment could be conducted smoothly in one integration platform. The hardware is based on DSP C2000 and the software based on the Matlab-DSP development environment needs to build the module and create custom device drive modules according to the hardware. Algorithm researchers can apply Simulink tools build Matlab algorithm, and then RTW (Real-Time Windows) can automatically generate code for DSP C2000 board. © 2012 ieee.

The existing mobile service discovery approaches do not completely address the issues of service selection and the robustness faced to mobility. The infrastructure of mobile service must be QoS-aware plus context-aware (i.e.) aware of the user's required-QoS and the QoS offered by the other networks in user's context. In this paper, we propose a cluster based QoS-aware service discovery architecture using swarm intelligence. Swarm intelligence is used to establish the intra and inter cluster shortest path routing. By simulation results, we show that the proposed architecture can attain a good success rate with reduced delay and energy consumption, since it satisfies the QoS constraints. © 2012 ieee.

These articles using the finite element simulate the temperature change caused by the thermal stress through to hollow photovoltaic glass service in the process of temperature test. According to the heat conduction equation and boundary condition, derivation hollow photovoltaic through the finite element software to hollow photovoltaic glass plate thermal stress for numerical simulation and research. Adopted in structural analysis directly define temperature load method analysis force hollow photovoltaic glass thermal stress. Use the finite element software to hollow photovoltaic glass plate thermal stress for numerical simulation and research. For the known temperature field distribution situation, adopted in structural analysis directly define temperature load method analysis force hollow photovoltaic glass thermal stress. Through the finite element software ANSYS to calculate different unit was carried out and the numerical simulation, the results show that the analytical solution and the numerical solution has good goodness of fit. The proposed calculation formula for engineering design has the certain reference value. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications.

Recently, the mobile industry has experienced an extreme increment in number of its users. The GSM network with the greatest worldwide number of users succumbs to several security vulnerabilities. Security is a burning and intelligent issue. It will always remain relevant as it is important in all types of applications. GSM Security flaws have been identified several years ago. Some of these flaws have been fixed by the 3GPP but others are left to discussion. Most of the RSA-based hardware and software products and standards require big key length for higher security level. In this paper we will be focusing on the comparison of working procedure of elliptic curve cryptography and RSA algorithm in GSM network to how it's a better promise for a faster and more secure method of encryption in comparison to the current standards in the Public-Key Cryptographic algorithms of RSA. © 2012 ieee.
