As to the live performance sound and studio recording sound recognition,a comparison approach based on audio features is proposed in this paper,which utilizes preprocessing of the audio information,audio features extraction,dynamic time warping(DTW) in order to capture the characteristic difference between the live performance sound and studio recording *** results show the high performance to distinguish these two types of audio sounds by applying the proposed method.

In this paper, single carrier (SC) transmission is considered. We focus on SC frequency domain equalization (FDE) receiver and analyze the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the time domain output signal estimate and then, derive the achievable bit error rate (BER). For the purpose of comparison, we consider optimal time domain equalization (TDE) receiver as a reference. Our analytical results show the relationship between the FDE and optimal TDE.

The identification and classification of network traffic is an important prerequisite for network management,traffic engineering and other *** summarize the packet size distribution patterns of the Internet application traffic,we collected flow record data from the internet and analyzed the packet size distribution patterns of typical *** the packet size distribution patterns of single application servers of typical applications,we found the differences of the packet size distribution in different *** we clustered and analyzed different packet size distribution patterns for typical applications,and found that a typical Internet application could contain more than one packet size distribution ***,from the characteristics of these applications,we explain the causes of these distribution patterns.

In view of the problems existing in multifocus image fusion,this paper proposes a multi-focus image fusion algorithm based on UDCT(Uniform Discrete of Curvelet Transform).The UDCT is a new mathematical and computational tool for multiresolution data representation which is also able to provide the higher approximation precision of geometric shape and better sparsely representation ***,source images are decomposed at each scale and direction by UDCT to get the UDCT sub-band ***,the fusion rule of weighted boxcounting dimension in low-pass bands and windowbased maximum modulus in directional high-pass bands is ***,the fusion image is obtained by using inverse *** contrast test shows that the proposed algorithm is simple and effective.

It was with great excitement that we planned the combined meetings of Northeast Aquaculture conference and Exposition (NACE) and the international conference on Shellfish Restoration (ICSR) with the 33rd Milford Aquaculture Seminar (MAS). Bringing these different but complementary audiences together resulted in a meeting that combined many different aspects of fisheries restoration and aquaculture under one *** hundred attendees including government representatives, research scientists, industry, and academia at both the university and vocational high school levels attended this event. The meeting commenced on Wednesday December 12th 2012, with over eighty people attending seven field trips to area aquaculture farms and research facilities. The formal program began on Thursday, December 13th with a plenary session including invited speakers Eric Schwabb, Acting Assistant Secretary for Conservation and Management at NOAA; Sebastian Belle, Executive Director of the Maine Aquaculture Association and Boze Hancock from the Nature Conservancy, who discussed the role of aquaculture in fisheries restoration. John Bullard, the Northeast Regional Administrator of NOAA Fisheries service, addressed the group during the luncheon the following day. The technical papers and workshops presented were divided into 35 sessions over three days of the meeting and included topics such as the history of aquaculture, aquaculture hatchery innovations, siting and planning issues, risk management, aquaculture business management, ocean acidification, climate change, as well as aquaculture disease issues and potential remedies. Having persons present who have experienced problems and successes, along with those in manufacturing and government responsible for addressing concerns and sharing best practices, was invaluable. Discussions among this cross-section of persons who represent different aspects of aquaculture were as important as the well-presented and interesting formal papers

The first design of Internet is a task driven *** have never thought that the Internet can increase into today' s *** the shortcomings of traditional Internet are *** cope with these shortcomings and design a more reasonable next generation network architecture,we propose NGNA which is a twolayer structure naming service layer and transmission *** layer is used for service registration and retrieval,and we use the idea of cloud computing and register all the resources in cloud part,so users do not store any *** layer is used for data package transmission and we use multipath *** we analyze the NGNA in the following aspects:reliability,security and *** outcome is that NGNA has good performance in these characters.

FlexRay is a high-speed communication protocol with high flexibility and *** the FlexRay communication controller was designed in this research with bus guardian protocol specification using specification and description language（SDL）.Based on SDL design principle,the communication controller of FlexRay system and the protocol operation controller of Bus Guardian system were used to design an integrated protocol operation ***,the system was redesigned using Verilog *** FlexRay system was synthesized by Samsung 0.35 um *** proposed chip contains FlexRay communication controller,Bus Guardian and Bus Driver *** is shown through the simulation that the designed system can operate in the frequency range up to 77 MHz.

In optical mesh network,two links faulted simultaneously can be bind by a *** only part of the network SRLGs into consideration,an ILP model in conjunction with a heuristic algorithm is proposed to configurate the FIPP p-cycle set with completely separated SRLG for a given demand pairs *** results show that the proposed algorithm provides multiple failures protection ability for network,and the heuristic algorithm can significantly reduce the number of eligible p-cycles provided as input to the ILP model to improve runtime,which makes the proposed algorithm more feasible and effective.
