Discovery of malicious correlations in computer networks has been an emergent problem motivating extensive research in computer science to develop improved intrusion detecting systems (IDS). In this manuscript, we present a machine learning approach known as Decision Tree (C4.5) Algorithm and Genetic Algorithm, to classify such risky/attack type of connections. The algorithm obtains into consideration dissimilar features in network connections and to create a classification rule set. Every rule in rule set recognizes a particular attack type. For this research, we implement a GA, C.45 and educated it on the KDD Cup 99 data set to create a rule set that can be functional to the IDS to recognize and categorize dissimilar varieties of assault links. During our study, we have developed a rule set contain of six rules to classify six dissimilar attack type of connections that fall into 4 modules namely DoS, U2R, root to local and probing attacks. The rule produces works with 93.70% correctness for detecting the denial of service type of attack connections, and with significant accuracy for detecting the root to local, user to root and probe connections. Results from our experiment have given hopeful results towards applying enhanced genetic algorithm for NIDS. © 2012 ieee.

This paper introduces the Open filer operation system to setup a network storage environment, and to build five different private small-cloud computing servers (PSCCS). Then by using the iSCSI storage technique through the TCP/IP protocol to explore the accessing assessments of the Open filer storage device for each feasible cloud computing system is undertaken. This includes comparing reading efficiency between storage device and cache. This storage technique can alleviate each physical host's burden, and also becomes a storage method of shared resources. These assessments can provide optimized solutions to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), schools, and social groups in choosing a private small-cloud computing server. Experiment results of accessing assessment of the Open filer storage device shows that cloud server VMware vSphere V (ESX server) has the highest performance rate, but comes with high costs, alternatively free software Proxmox VE is the best choice among private small-cloud computing server. © 2012 ieee.

There’s a general view that with governance of board,poor performance will lead to CEO’s turnover,but will this relationship change over the corporate life-cycle,this paper is to investigate the impact of life-cycle on performance-turnover *** are selected from Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed companies during period 2009-2011,the regression results show that as corporation matures the sensitivity of CEO turnover to poor performance will decrease.

SOFL approach to the construction of the formal specifications has been proposed and applied in information systems,but its effectiveness and applicability have not been demonstrated *** this paper,we describe an application of the SOFL approach to the construction of a specification during requirements *** approach requires two steps: informal and semi-formal *** order to describe on how this approach can be applied to capture requirements using SOFL easily,we use a case study to develop an examination monitoring system for construct abstract *** case study demonstrates the suitability of SOFL to capture detail requirements and provides us with an insight into the knowledge of how SOFL approach can be effectively supported.

To solve the inefficiency problem of traditional PAM algorithm for initial cluster center,a new improved PAM algorithm is *** algorithm builds minimum spanning tree and then splits it to get k initial clusters with the relevant cluster *** analysis and experimental results show that the found initial centers are closed to the desired cluster centers,and the improved algorithm can achieve stable clustering results and higher cluster clustering accuracy.

Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is one of the crucial technologies that realizing the information integration for the enterprise, and its function modeling is the base of MES design and implementation. Basis on the analysis of the business process in mechanical blanking workshop and the functional requirements of MES system, the IDEF0 method was adopted to construct the function model of MES system oriented to mechanical blanking workshop, and a detailed description of the function modules and their relationship was given, which laid the foundation for the software development of the MES system. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The current UPnP service discovery algorithm can cause severe drops with response message rate when applied in pervasive computing environments with large scale of *** deficiency lies in the instantaneous transmission of all response messages and the independent random selection of the transmission delay so that the response messages collide and *** reduce the congestion,a refined algorithm is developed which is based on unchanged the root device's discovery protocol,control point using multiple adaptive maximum query time (MX),to ensure that devices in the environment can be *** simulation verifies that the refined algorithm gives better performance in the response message's drop ratio.

In this paper, an enhanced resource control scheme based on traffic estimation for adaptive QoS control is proposed with the use of the ieee 802.11e wireless LAN standard for wireless access network. The proposed network model consists of both the core network and a number of wireless access networks including several mobile hosts. The interface between the core network and the access network is designed to include a means of provisioning differentiated service (DS) according to the requirements of a particular flow. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed enhanced resource control scheme at the aspect of the available bandwidth and throughput. © 2011 Springer science+Business Media B.V.
