In order to optimize reactive source of network and make best use of reactive adjustment ability existed, on the other hand, to solve problems of low voltage qualification rate and high power loss, the paper has put forward research strategy of reactive power optimization based on load characteristics and comes up with the method of node least increment and way of approximation linearization. With real measure data after analysis of load characteristics, use discrete quantum particle swarm algorithm to do continua optimization calculation based on node least increment strategy, gain the best location of transformer taps and reactive source allocation capacity of every bus;In addition, the paper demonstrates time efficiency of optimization strategy with load data which rising 10% line riz ationally. The research strategy in the paper can solve practical problems in network operation and can satisfy scene demand through analysis of power loss and average out-of-limit rate of voltage after application in region network. © 2012 ieee.

The article reported an investigation into the mechanism of helmet-mounted sight system(HMSS) based on photogrammetry techniques. It demonstrated how was the fire force system controlled by line of pilots' sight. Pose and attitude of helmet were estimated by detecting 4 LEDs installed on the helmet through two cameras. Helmet and pilot's head were regarded as rigid body. The model defining interrelations between sight and LED projection image was described in detail. The working principle of the system was validated on our simulation platform, which was developed with OpenGL APIs and in VC environment. In order to get the accurate image, the projecting model should be adjusted according to the calibration result of real camera. The simulation result was in accordance with preset pose and attitude of helmet. This article described the structure of helmet, model of estimating 3D pose from 2D images, imaging simulation of camera. It may provide help for understanding, designing and improving the HMSS in some extent. © 2012 ieee.

Logs generated by network devices and systems provide important information for network management. In this paper, we describe a centralized syslog system which gathers and analyzes log messages from a number of routers, switches and firewalls. The gathered logs are filtered and categorized with regular expression, and finally stored in a MySQL database with format. Through the statistics analysis, feature-based detection on security events, the system can effectively find out abnormal behavior of network devices and ensure the network security. Some methods are found out to allow us to check if the network behavior is unusual. These perspective methods also provide the basis of network management and security strategy design for administrators, thereby strengthen further network management. © 2012 ieee.

The composition of the landscape image can convey the emotion of cameramen. Proposed in this article is one technique for landscape image composition analysis, which could lay the foundation for the further analysis of image emotion. This method is mainly aimed at analyzing the composition of images with no foregrounds compos. Firstly, the image segmentation method based on edge detection and morphological operation is used to detect the edges. Secondly, the Hough transform is used to detect and extract the straight lines from the edges. Finally, the model is constructed to analyze composition of the image according the direction features of the straight lines obtained from the second step. Experimental results demonstrate that this model is effective and meaningful in practice. © 2012 ieee.

Turn model provides a simple approach for the development of deadlock-free routing algorithms by prohibiting some turns to eliminate cycles of the resource dependency graph. However, prohibited turns remarkably limit the fault-tolerant capability of routing algorithms. This paper presents a dynamic pseudo-receiving mechanism (DPR) to enable the prohibited turns and avoid deadlock. It consists of pseudo-receiving (PR) mechanism and dynamic turn management (DTM). The former is similar as the software-based rerouting, but without the support of operating system. Under PR, an additional buffer (noted as PR buffer) is needed for each enabled turn prohibited originally. The packets using enabled turns will be sent to the PR buffer and then sent to the desired output port. The later is a dynamic implementation of turn model. Under DTM, if the number of flits in a PR buffer is more than the constant β, the turn will be disabled at once. This paper gives a theorem to show that the combination of PR mechanism and DTM makes networks to be deadlock-free in the cost of a few PR buffers. Simulation results show that DPR mechanism is feasible and cost-efficient. © 2012 ieee.

As the pre-research of high voltage active power filter (APF), an experimental prototype of single-phase H-bridges cascaded active power filter is built based on digital signal processing chip TMS320F2812. Based on instantaneous reactive-power theory, the single-phase grid circuit is decomposed and analyzed by mathematical method and a more suitable detecting method for harmonics and reactive currents in single-phase circuit is deduced in this paper. The results of simulation and experiment show that experimental prototype can realize harmonic current compensation effectively. © 2012 ieee.

Along with the development of the programmable logic device, the FPGA application handles to provide a new solution for high speed digital video image processing. It makes full use of the parallel and flexibility of FPGA, improves the speed of image processing, not only reduces the cost, but also makes the real-time image processing to obtain a satisfactory effect. The video image encryption system is based on Altera DE2-70 development platform. The system mainly consists of image acquisition input module, image encryption processing module and an image display output module. Based on the contrast analysis of Arnold transform and Knight-tour transform these two video image encryption algorithm, selected a complex scrambling encryption algorithm that combines Arnold transform and knight-tour transform to handle encryption and decryption of video image Program and debug the algorithm in the Nios II IDE environment. Through debugging of system hardware module and software program, enables it to achieve the requirements of digital video image encryption processing design. The test results show that, the video encryption system achieved in the DE2-70 development platform is in good reliability and portability, taking up less resource, lower cost and has wider application prospects. © 2012 ieee.

In this paper, we introduce an automated way to build a private cloud based on the Eucalyptus open-source cloud toolkit with the Fully Automatic Installation software package. Once the 'configuration space' is configured properly, it can be easily applied to build private clouds that consist of nodes from few to hundreds. Furthermore, an arbitrary number of nodes can be added to or removed from the cloud with minimum effort whenever it is needed. We show the details of our work with examples and explanations. Performance evaluation of this scheme is also presented in this paper. © 2012 ieee.

Geographic Information System (GIS) is the miniature of resources and environment of the whole or part region in the computer. It has been used widely in many fields of spatial information systems. There are some development ways to realize GIS. For example, applying MapX controls to realize the basic functions of geographic information system, which is a main way of secondary development application of GIS integration. In this paper, the development and realization of personnel positioning system is mainly based on GIS. In the process of developing the personnel positioning software, it is very important to choose the right development tools. And this positioning system is developed through use of ActiveX technology and LabVIEW programming platform. Their advantages are easy to realize all kinds of personnel positioning functions and map display. The purpose of this paper is to introduce application of GIS in the personnel positioning software. This paper firstly discusses the GIS-related development and then describes the methods of calling the MapX controls. In addition, this paper expounds the realization process of secondary development methods of GIS integration in LabVIEW. Finally, analyzes the running result of personnel positioning software by processing longitude-latitude information that collected by GPS terminal. According to it, the personal positioning information can be also obtained, which is especially useful for monitor of Kids and old people. © 2012 ieee.

Because the mission of complex equipments has particularity of structure, functions and work environment, online detection and diagnosis are difficult to carry out and embed. On account of this reason, detection and diagnosis ideas of hierarchical detection and step refining are proposed. That is to say, according to whole-system pivotal nodes testing, faults are isolated to subsystems or units;according to detection of faulty units based on environment simulation platform, faults are isolated to minimum replaceable units;according to circuit detection and diagnosis system, faults are isolated to circuit modules or components. Detection system and diagnosis system schemes are related in this paper, by testing and trial, the original system is proved that the idea and scheme of comprehensive detection diagnosis system are scientific and feasible. © 2012 ieee.
