Software Product Line (SPL) becomes a potential approach for software system engineering. Software artifacts based on different models and approaches are collected and deposited into repository in order to be reused for a new software product in the future. Otherwise, identifying of reusable software artifacts is still difficult and time-consuming. In particular, requirements management for SPL becomes more complex process that should take into account requirements value for customers, cost of implementation, available resources, requirements interdependencies, system architecture and dependencies to the code base. In this paper we propose a social network representing the software product line artifacts and relationships between those artifacts. We believe the social network can be analyzed in order to acquire the information representing the dependencies between software artifacts and stakeholders. This information can be applied in order to improve software requirements management for SPL. © 2012 ieee.

This paper analyzes the Forest visual modelling content and basic technical characteristics. For people having higher requirements of forest visualization, we proposed a visualization prototype system of forestry based on the concept of data cube. The prototype system provides forestry operator with the service of browsing forestry data and various management plans. Based on the concept of data cube, the entire forest is a data cube, each individual tree as a basic data cube. By using the data cube design by us, we could construct the virtual forest on different scale using less computer memory. With the help of the visualization system, we can compute the spatial construction information of the forest and adjust the spatial structure, providing a basic platform and virtual environment for other researchers to study spatial structure of forest. © 2012 ieee.

In order to improve space positioning accuracy of the Agile Wrist consisting of a modified spherical parallel manipulator, which will influence the result of the Collisions experiment in a robotic mechanical testbed directly, this paper explores the motion control of Agile Wrist. Based on analysis an input - output (I/O) equation of spherical four-bar linkages for forward-displacement of spherical parallel robots, the inverse kinematics derivation is reported here to find the active-joint variables for each possible position and orientation (pose) of the mobile plate, as well as the singularity exist and defines what may be generalized as the workspace boundary. Meanwhile the kinematics simulation by using simulink S-Function combined with Q8 controller was carried out. The results showed that the Kinematics analysis and Control Design of Agile Wrist were correct. The modified spherical parallel manipulator can meet with the demands of Collisions experiment in the robotic mechanical testbed. © 2012 ieee.

Dynamic weather conditions, such as rain and snow, degrade the performance of vision algorithms, which is served for video surveillance and analysis tasks. Many methods have been proposed to reduce the effects of raindrops and snow flakes that are regarded as noises in each frame of a certain video. However, the removing of rain-drop or snow-flake is quite challenging since each of them affects only on a very small region of an image, thus, leading us a rub to determine which region should be smoothed and which should not. In this paper, a guided filter, by which no pixel-based statistical information for detecting rain and snow are needed, is introduced in the removal stage. The results show that it may achieve better performance. In addition, the degradation-restoring algorithm is suitable for both single images and videos. © 2012 ieee.

From the research background of component assembly, in view of the shortage of the current component assembly technology in dealing with the increasing demand of software credibility and customization, this paper presents a solution of component assembly which supports credibility index quantitative evaluation in order to meet the requirements of software functional or non-functional for different clients. The main idea of this solution is to create a software architecture model represented by directed graph. The solution taking the component as base element, the function as target, the credibility index as constraint, automatically computes a variety of solutions which meet the functional requirement. Optimal solution will be obtained by evaluate the credibility index of those solutions in order to form software entity. In the end, this paper designs a assembly algorithm in terms of the component credibility adjacency matrix and provides simulation experiment results. © 2012 ieee.

In this paper, enhanced ground proximity warning simulation and validation system is designed and implemented. First, based on square grid and sub-grid structure, the global digital terrain database is designed and constructed. Terrain data searching is implemented through querying the latitude and longitude bands and separated zones of global terrain database with the current aircraft position. A combination of dynamic scheduling and hierarchical scheduling is adopted to schedule the terrain data, and the terrain data can be read and delete dynamically in the memory. Secondly, according to the scope, distance, approach speed information etc. to the dangerous terrain in front, and using security profiles calculating method, collision threat detection is executed in real-time, and provides caution and warning alarm. According to this scheme, the implementation of the enhanced ground proximity warning simulation system is realized. Simulations are carried out to verify a good real-time in terrain display and alarm trigger, and the results show simulation system is realized correctly, reasonably and stable. © 2012 ieee.

The Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Neural Networks have been successfully applied to several types of problem such as the difficult NP-hard problem, the optimization problem, and the knowledge discovery problem. This paper proposes the efficient hybrid improved ACO and Self-Organizing Map Neural Network (SOM) to solve the clustering problem. The advantages of this hybrid algorithm are to reduce the disadvantage of ACO and SOM and to provide high accuracy and robustness of cancer predictions. The effectiveness of this hybrid algorithm is illustrated through the results of some DNA microarray datasets and some well-known datasets such as Leukemia, Conlon Cancer, and Iris. The experimental results show that this hybrid algorithm provides high performance in clustering problems. © 2012 ieee.

Though cloud computing is targeted to provide better utilization of resources using virtualization techniques and to take up much of the work load from the client, it is fraught with security risks. One of most serious threats is Distributed Denial of service attack (DDoS) which is easy to implement and affective. In this paper, we proposed an approach called SBTA which based on the use of SOA to traceback and find the source of DDoS attacks. We further propose a filter approach called Cloud-filter. Experiments show the defense system which is a combination of SBTA and Cloud-filter is effective in Cloud Computing. It was able to trace and identify the source most of these attacks messages of these attacks and reduce the packets that reconstruction path required. It also had a high detection rates with low false positives. © 2012 ieee.

We introduce a two-step face hallucination frame work as one of classifying among sparse residual compensation model. In the first step, the optimal coefficients of the interpolated training images are used to construct a global face image. In the second step, a class of priors is computed based on mixing a set of linear priors related to dissimilar priors. The blocks of coefficients are considered to find the sparse mixing weights. In order to find the best improved information of the face image in the residual compensation of step-two, a sparse signal representation is considered over coefficients in a frame. Finally, we obtain a hallucinated face image by integrating these two steps. The extensive experiments on publicly available database show the effectiveness of the framework. © 2012 ieee.

Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) require a dynamic and efficient routing protocol that can respond quickly to network topology changes. Ad hoc routing protocols for MANETs are classified into: (a) proactive, (b) reactive and (c) hybrid approaches. In general, proactive routing is more suitable for a stationary network, while reactive routing is better for a mobile network with a high mobility. In many applications, a node in a MANET is mobile, yet it can also fluctuate between being mobile and being stationary. Thus, a hybrid routing approach with the ability to adapt to the node mobility could improve the performance of MANETs. In this paper, we propose a Mobility Adaptive Hybrid Routing (MAHR) for MANETs, which varies its routing between reactive approach and proactive approach to adapt to node mobility. The MAHR consists of three parts: (a) calculation of mobility ratio, (b) core node selection, and (c) procedure of hybrid routing. The simulation results showed that MAHR could achieve the advantages of both reactive and proactive routing approaches in performance.
