A new method was adapted in the project that isolated vibration for precise mechanical equipment. There are four electromagnet actuators which are arranged differentially between equipment and vibrational base. The electromagnetic force and the control current are linear relation approximately. The absolute velocity feedback control method which can keep the vibration isolation capability of high frequency and advance the vibration isolation capability of low frequency is adopted in this paper according to the characteristic of frequency domain. There are two methods applied to verify the control method, one is the simulated analysis by matlab platform, the other is experiment. Finally, the results of simulation are compared against the experimental results are satisfied, the high frequency amplitude of z-DOF is 2×10 -7m, and the low frequency amplitude of z-DOF is 5×10 -6m. © 2012 ieee.

This paper presents an automatic system for seedling transplanter based on machine vision technology. Machine vision technology was used to detect the state of seedlings in the plug tray, locating empty and unhealthy seedling holes, guiding the manipulator to transplant the seedling. The methods of removing noises in binary image were compared, and the more suitable method was selected in this study. The algorithms of image processing were used for capturing the seedling characters, the results showed that the success rate of identification was good. Overlapping of the border seedlings and extruding leaves from neighbouring cells always lead to the identification failures. In this research, tomato seedlings were used as samples, and good identification rate for suitable seedling was obtained (96.2%) when using the second method. The result shows this method could be used in various growing status of seedling, and this technology could be used for automatic seedling transplanting robot. © 2012 ieee.

Cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is one of the most important error-detection schemes used in digital communications. In this method, the transmitter divides of the message by an agreed-upon polynomial called the generator and concatenates the calculated residue to the message. The receiver divides what it receives by the generator again. A zero residue indicates error-free transmission and a nonzero residue is interpreted as an error. These calculations are traditionally performed using serial circuits called LFSR especially in serial communications such as the case of the Ethernet protocol. But in parallel communications such as USB, and also integrity checking applications, this method is not efficient enough. In this paper, a new parallel algorithm for parallel CRC calculation is proposed and evaluated. The proposed algorithm exploits mathematical properties of a special family of generator polynomials named OZZ (One-Zero-Zero) polynomials. In this approach, we feedbacks are eliminated and pipelined calculations are used to obtain 32-bit CRC in the SMIC 0.35/im CMOS technology. © 2012 ieee.

Fault signals of brushless DC (BLDC) motors typically are non-stationary. Conventional Fourier transform method cannot matching the demand of extraction of such fault signals. Time-frequency analysis (TFA) based motor fault diagnostics, which can identify effectively rotor faults by detecting time-variant frequency components of stator current signal, such as the dynamic eccentricity and the unbalanced rotor fault, have been important signal processing methods. This paper proposes a TFA based BLDC motor fault detection approach using Hermite S-method. Compared with commonly used short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD), Hermite S-method owns better time-frequency concentration and better cross-term suppression abilities, thereby improving the accuracy of BLDC motor fault detection. Taking rotor dynamic eccentricity fault as an example, the validity of method is demonstrated. © 2012 ieee.

With the rapid development of information technology and computer technology has improved;visualization technology has been widely used in various fields. In forestry, forestry visualization technology breakthrough two limiting factors in the time span and spatial scales, and increasingly become a research hotspot. If we build a virtual forest environment, forestry workers would make more convenient and intuitive, efficient management and research forest. However, visualization of the data source demanded strict, and need to be collected more data to visualization. These would be brought great difficulties to the study. Therefore, this study attempts to gain the information of the visual simulation in the random distribution of the rules for the distribution of forest structure by directly reading the files in the forest form map, and construct a visual simulation algorithm of the distributed rules. © 2012 ieee.

The Steiner problem leads to solutions in several scientific and business applications. computer networks routing and electronic integrated circuits are few examples of it. Assuming some points in the Euclidean plane, we can construct a minimum spanning tree connecting these (terminal) nodes. It is possible to add some extra points (Steiner Points) in order to decrease the length of this tree, which would in turn lead to Euclidean Steiner Minimal Tree (ESMT). This problem is considered as a NP-hard problem, as it may contain some nodes that are not in the set of given nodes. Assuming a simple polygon P with m vertices and n terminals in it, we try to find an Euclidean Steiner minimal tree connecting all these n terminals in P. In this paper, we propose a new solution based on the straight skeleton of a simple polygon for finding Euclidean Steiner tree of any number of terminals, in a given simple polygon. © 2012 ieee.

A matrix-multiplication based multi-secret images sharing scheme is proposed by combining shamir's secret sharing scheme and two-variable one-way functions. The scheme uses the selected seed to generate random matrix, and then uses the matrix to share secret images based on matrix multiplication. In this scheme, the seed is shared among participants by using shamir's secret sharing scheme, which can reduces public information compared with other scheme which is based on matrix multiplication. Two-variable one-way functions are applied to ensure the security and realize multiuse of the scheme. The participants can share multi-secret images by their pseudo-secret rather than their secret share. Experiment shows that the proposed scheme is security and has a good compression rate for image encryption. © 2012 ieee.

With the rapid development of pervasive computing, more and more sensors based applications have been implemented. And many problems occur in the process of providing stable basis for the normal working of these systems. One of them is how to continuously monitor/capture and interpret the environment related information efficiently to assure high context awareness. Many attentions have been paid to the research of the context-aware pervasive applications. However, most of them just use the raw context directly or take the Quality of Context (QoC) into account in just one or two steps. Therefore, we propose a layered middleware based context-aware framework that support QoC management through various layers. By this framework we can refinery raw context, discard duplicate and inconsistent context so as to protect and provide QoS-enriched context information of users to context-aware applications and services. © 2012 ieee.

The access conflict from different threads or processes for parallel applications, can lead the system performance to degrade for multi-core system with shared cache. Cache replacement algorithm for L2 shared cache can be used to solve the problem efficiently and reasonably. Although LRU cache replacement algorithm can better reflect the locality of program and is widely used, it is not optimal for reducing the shared cache miss ratio and MPKI (misses per thousand instructions), and can not predict whether the data is be used frequently. In this paper, based on the consideration of time prediction, the disadvantage of LRU and the conflict between parallel application and shared cache, we propose the LRU2-MRU collaborative cache replacement algorithm to solve these problems. We use 10 benchmark programs to show that the LRU2-MRU collaborative cache algorithm may reduce the miss ratio of L2 shared cache by 4.61%, and the MPKI is average 4.54% lower than LRU. © 2012 ieee.

SOC design has became prevalent implementation approach of GNSS receiver, while software/hardware partition of the chip has directly impact its performance and cost. It is analyzed that the undirected graphs theory is applied in the software/hardware partition in the paper. And a partition algorithm is demonstrated. The optimal partitioning method is generally described as 2 problems. The presented method obtains the solution for Problem 1 by choosing the optimum in Problem 2's solution space. The method's computation speed is optimized in the use of two-phrase search to gradually decrease the search range. Compared with using the heuristic algorithm, the computation complexity is reduced from O(n3) to O(Anlogn). Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm's solution is the same with other common method, while in the terms of computation speed the algorithm is 70% faster than GA, and 20%-30% faster than KL in the case of large vertices. © 2012 ieee.
