Based on the current status of forest visual simulation and tree growth-oriented management theory, and referring to fir stand growth and management process interact, the paper analysed the stand management process and growth interact process, combining with stand growth modal, the paper designed a visual simulation approach of management and stand growth interact feedback. By using the stand growth result and stand management measurement as interface parameter, analysing process defined management plan, by real-time scheduling algorithm parsing the management process, and by using management processes and stand growth dynamic visualization to get the final result of stimulation management result. Sub-fir growth and management process simulation for interactive visualization can provide a scientific basis for management planning and decision-making. © 2012 ieee.

The accelerated development of network and information technology has opened a new door for College English Education nowadays. A perfect combination of network and education, known as the web-assisted teaching model, has replaced the tradition model and yielded fruits in many universities here in China. It gives full play to students' initiative and unlike the traditional model, gives teachers a facilitator's role instead. The whole learning process witnesses students conduct autonomous learning by making use of the relevant resources and make improvement through teachers' guidance and communication with both teachers and students. In view of this positive change, the present study is designed to show that web-assisted teaching model is more effective than the traditional model based on empirical studies. The result shows that the new model can effectively improve students' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and thus should be applied to bring about significant improvement in students. © 2012 ieee.

To resolve the problem of large computational cost and bad real-time performance of current binocular vision stereo matching algorithm. A sub-line segment match method based on the wavelet transformation is presented, in order to match feature points more accurately and efficiently. It is based on that the multi-scale local maxima of wavelet transform can obtain the locations of the signal sharp variation points at different scales for transformation coefficients of a quadratic spline wavelet. A coarse to fine matching algorithm is applied to match these feature points. Sub-line segment is structured by these feature points. The points between the two endpoints of the sub-line segment are matched quickly using acceleration way. The thickness of cement clinker in the cooler is measured using this method. This method has many advantages such as simplified implementation, high accuracy, low cost, etc, and it can be stably applied in the production line of the grate cooler. © 2012 ieee.

The enterprise management diagnosis is always subject to the human factors. Therefore, the Multi-Agent System is used to substitute for the artificial diagnosis in order to improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. This paper introduces the construction process of the enterprise management diagnosis ontologies and puts forward the Jadex transformation model and the specific transformation method which enables the extended Jadex to support the use of ontology to describe the beliefs. Thus the ontology in Multi-Agent System can be used to describe objects and the common understandings of the relationships. It can promote communication and collaboration efficiency between multi-agents. Meanwhile, it can also improve understanding of domain knowledge. At last, through the ontology-based enterprise diagnostic concept, we establish the multi-agent diagnosis system of enterprise management, and the experiments demonstrate that the ontology-based multi-agent diagnostic system is feasible and efficient for the enterprise management diagnosis. © 2012 ieee.

In this paper, we propose an approach for human action recognition based on self-similarities of actions and dynamic-time warping method. To recognize actions under arbitrary views, we use a recent self-similarity matrix (SSM) method. Through analyzing the essence of SSMs we find that the SSMs capture a wealth of global time information useful for action recognition robust to viewpoints. The dynamic-time warping (DTW) algorithm is applied to make full use of the time information contained in SSMs. After performing DTW, we compute a collection of distances corresponding to mapped set of descriptors between the test sequence and all training sequences. Then the k-nearest neighbor classifier (KNNC) is implemented to classify the test action. We validated our method on the public multi-view IXMAS dataset and obtained promising results compared to the state-of-the-art bag-of-feature-based method. © 2012 ieee.

In Shamir's (t, n) secret sharing (SS) scheme, a master secrets is divided into n shares by a dealer and is shared among n shareholders in such a way that any t or more than t shares can reconstruct this master secret;but fewer than t shares cannot obtain any information about the master secret s. Although Shamir's scheme is unconditionally secure, it unfortunately requires a large data expansion (i.e., t shares are needed to reclaim one secret). Therefore, Shamir's scheme is inefficient as a conveyor of information. Multi-secret sharing (MSS) scheme, which allows multiple master secrets to be shared among shareholders, has been proposed to improve the efficiency of Shamir's scheme. However, all existing MSS schemes are computationally secure. In this paper, we propose an unconditionally secure MSS scheme based on Shamir's scheme. Our proposed MSS scheme allows each shareholder to keep only one private share and uses it to share t master secrets. © 2012 ieee.

A highly efficient and accurate stochastic optimal control algorithm is proposed for active vehicle suspension systems. It uses the pseudo-excitation method for random vibration and the precise integration method (PIM) for the solution of the Riccati equations. Unlike conventional time-domain based methods, the present method computes the power spectral density (PSD) of each vehicle response directly from the road surface elevation PSD. Therefore root mean squares of the vehicle responses, including the frequency-weighted acceleration ones required by the ISO standard 2631-1(1997), can be obtained conveniently and accurately. The PIM used is proved to be numerically stable and highly precise, even if all eigenvalues of the corresponding Hamiltonian matrices are very close to the imaginary axis. Finally, numerical examples verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2012 ieee.

The development of laser scanning technology provides a new way to make people obtain spatial information from the traditional manual to automatic. In this study, we take the FARO Laser Scanner Photon as the data obtained platform, we scanned a 10 mx15 m plot, total 20 trees in Pinus bungeana Zucc. plantation, extract every tree's data from the point cloud and measure the tree height and diameter at breast height(DBH). After make accuracy precision and correlation analysis with the measured data, it is showed that the method mentioned can be satisfied the accuracy requirement of forest investigation and can be used to measure the tree height and DBH. Compared with traditional technology, the applications of 3D laser scanning technique have a broad development space on tree measuring. © 2012 ieee.

Web camera image databases and meteorological datasets from the observing stations provide critical resources for plant phenology and meteorological research. These data are valuable components for a variety of modeling applications, but there is a lack of comprehensive framework that provides archive and online analysis for image data and in-situ meteorological data. An efficient and easy-to-use way for data acquisition and processing is waiting to be discovered. This study focuses on developing a web based framework (http://159.226.111.45:8080/ImageProcess/***) to manage and analyze image data and meteorological data from observation stations. Our framework provides reliable data management for image data and meteorological data from the sensor network deployed over the stations in different regions, and has the ability to chart the time-series of statistics extracted from the image data and the related meteorological data. The implemented web interface for the framework is a powerful and useful tool for adding educational and scientific value to repeat digital photography systems. © 2012 ieee.
