This paper focuses on the two-robot welding coordination of complex curve seam that one robot grasp the workpiece, the other hold the torch, the two robots work on the same workpiece coordinately. This paper builds the two-robot coordinate system at the beginning. After that, the non master/slave scheme is chosen for the path planning, the non master/slave scheme sets the poses versus time function of the point u on the workpiece, and calculates the two robot end effecter paths through the constrained relationship automatically. Moreover, Downhand welding is employed which can guarantee the torch and the seams keep in good contact condition all the time during the welding process. Besides, a Solidworks-SimMechanics simulation platform is established, and a simulation of Exhaust Manifold welding is conducted. Finally, the results of the simulation illustrate the welding process can meet the requirements of predefined torch pose planning and the downhand welding. In addition, two advantages of two industrial robot coordinated welding are summarized compared with arc-welding robot and positioning table system.

To control the interference from femtocell users to macro base station and guarantee the QOS and maximize system capacity, this paper develops the uplink power control algorithm of femtocell system based on threshold and water-filling theorem. The initial value of transmit power is determined according to the interference suffered by macro base station. The simulation results show that the algorithm maximizes system capacity on the basis of interference control.

The task of accurate teleoperation of a large workspace industrial manipulator using a small haptic device having a physically limited workspace still a challenge. This task should be handled carefully without disturbing the user perception of continuously teleoperating the manipulator movement in a natural and precise way. This paper presents the development of a master/slave teleoperation system based on a new workspace spanning technique that integrate position control and a modified rate control methods to solve the problem of workspace mapping of two kinematically dissimilar robots. The proposed technique referred to as Positioning with Modified Rate control is simple yet efficient and overcomes most of the drawbacks of other techniques. It depends on switching between rate control with constant speed for coarse motion and position control for accurate movements. The developed system consists of a phantom premium haptic device as a master and RV-2AJ Mitsubishi robot arm as a slave. Experimental results demonstrate that the operator can easily navigate through the whole workspace of an industrial robot using a small haptic device while achieving accurate positioning. The developed system proved experimentally to have good tracing characteristics in the fine manipulation mode. Besides, a 6 DOF force/torque sensor is attached to the end effector and tested for contact with different stiffness materials.

Autonomous computing has two main objectives: (i) making systems aware about their state and their environment and (ii) making them able to automatically actualize their behavior according to any relevant internal or external event. This paper describes a novel and dynamic approach to assist software developers and designers in building autonomous systems. Our approach offers a dynamic platform to deploy software components and automatically control them at runtime according to a continuously updated knowledge about their state and their runtime environment. This knowledge is automatically maintained by semantic models that keep the system aware about its state and its environment. Autonomous systems designers can edit these models at runtime to inject extra knowledge without disrupting the execution of the deployed components. Moreover, this platform facilitates the implementation of autonomous self-properties by defining semantic rules that (i) reason on the captured knowledge about the system environment and state at one hand and (ii) apply self-adaptive actions on the system components on the other hand. Our platform, entitled Automatic and Semantic OSGi control (ASOC), combines the high dynamicity of OSGi and the power of semantic inferences to offer better situation analysis and self-adaptation results in autonomous systems.
