With the surge in the amount of information on the Internet, the traditional information retrieval technology has already become unable to meet the user's information needs. Ontology, as the modeling tool of the concept model which can in semantic and knowledge levels describe the information system, can overcome the limitations of the traditional information retrieval technology. This paper proposes the mechanism of fuzzy amendment based on the evaluation of the ontology, which evaluates the performance of the ontology in the knowledge service, and constructs the amended model of the ontology through the fuzzy theory;meanwhile it proposes the use of the shared information content tree to determine the semantic similarity of the ontology, and the use of auxiliary semantic to adjust the shared information content tree. This mechanism effectively solves the inaccurate-expression problem of the ontology, enhances the semantic relevance of the ontology, and improves the search efficiency.

Location-based service is one of the most important demand in ubiquitous computing scenarios. While build-in sensors on smartphones can be used to provide location information for terminals. This paper presents a particle filter, dead reckoning, WIFI based multimodal algorithm for indoor localization with smartphones, and propose a system so called ICTIPS. ICTIPS make use of WIFI signal strength measurements, accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope on smartphones, as well as map information, offering high tracking accuracy and efficiency. In particular, we compare different weight update strategies for particle filter framework and similarity functions for magnetic matching progress to understand the impact on accuracy and efficiency of the positioning system. In our real office environment, ICTIPS is evaluated with high quality ground truth, which provide service with an average tracking error around 2 meters.
