This paper proposes a novel approach of cross layer resource allocation based on Quality of Experience(Qo E) for multiple applications in downlink Long Term Evolution(LTE) systems. To maximize the level of system Qo E while guaranteeing the fairness for users, we introduce a Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) based resource block allocation algorithm which has a quicker convergence rate. It is much simpler and easier to implement this algorithm with few parameters. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed approach improve the level of the system's Qo E more effectively than other algorithms under the circumstance that guarantees user's minimum Qo E requirement.

Whereas much of the current work on Cloud computing focuses on the construction of Cloud infrastructures and technologies for supporting virtualization, little attention has been devoted to devising methods for consumers to discover, request, and use Cloud resources. In a recent paper entitled "Agent‐based Cloud Computing" published in the Special Issue on Cloud Computing in the IEEE Transactions on services Computing, Sim introduced the idea of using autonomous agents for automating the discovery, aggregation, negotiation, and harnessing of Cloud resources. This keynote lecture introduces some of the on‐going work at the Multiagent and Cloud Computing systems Laboratory, Gwangju Institute of science and Technology: 1) designing and developing Cloudle: a Cloud service search engine and 2) devising an agent‐based testbed for supporting Cloud commerce. Cloudle consists of a service discovery agent that consults a Cloud ontology for determining the similarities between providers' service specifications and consumers' service requirements. In agent‐based Cloud commerce, Sim adopts automated negotiation as a pricing model for trading Cloud resources.

In order to achieve maximum efficiency in service discovery and integrate heterogeneous services effectively, we need better ways to discover needed services, according to the interface description. In this paper, we explore the view that Web service can be studied as a network with a number of nodes connected by edges from perceptive of complex network. We also propose an effective method to visualize them combined with services quality and analyze their macroscopic properties. Then we test the proposed method with public data sets. It is demonstrated that the derived Web service network can exhibit obvious characteristics of small-world, scale-free and high-cohesion, in accordance with other natural and artificial systems. The results have some practical values including an effective way of Web service discovery and classification.

As a new application pattern, knowledge service has been rapidly developed in recent years. How to integrate the existent knowledge services to form a newly complex service is a popular research area. This paper presents a framework to support dynamically service composition. And then we focus on the global optimal model of knowledge services composition. The essence of the model is that the problem of dynamic service selection with QoS global optimal is transformed into a liner integer programming with QoS constraints. At last, a set of optimal service composition is produced by means of optimizing objective function, which fulfills requires of users and improves the dynamical and flexible capability of service composition.
