The usage of softer systems in automotive bumper is a growing trend currently especially to serve the pedestrians safety *** term softer here does refer to the bumper system's dynamic behavior rather than its material's flexure or tension ***,the usage of such softer systems would raise issues of structural integrity of the bumper during *** is a strong drive currently to adopt materials such as glass mat thermoplastic(GMT),high-strength sheet molding compound(SMC) for the bumper material and plastic polypropylene(PEP) for the bumper holders[1,2,3]in this *** both the GMT and SMC do enhance the pedestrian safety condition,they both show plastic deformation at crash,even in low-speed scenarios[2,3].The PEP holders react only as shock absorbers and act like mechanical fuses to be destroyed in car crash,preventing the main bumper from being damaged[4].In this paper,we propose a remedy for this problem by changing the common system that the GMT and SMC materials are usually fitted *** propose coating the bumper beam with a Rubber padding layer that eliminates the plastic strain at low-speed *** also examine the behavior of the PEP during such crash *** present here the results of a low-speed headon automotive-pedestrian crash simulation scenario for these material models,using the explicit dynamics finite element code LS-DYNA within ANSYS integration setting.A simplified parameterized finite element model of the Ford Crown Victoria car's bumper form is used in several crash simulations that are carried out to test the validity of this modified bumper *** on the results of these tests,we show that,applying the Rubber coating material for the GMT and SMC bumper beams eliminates the plastic stains at low-speed crash.

CPCI can achieve efficient hot swap,widely used in the field of control and communication. With the advent of the 4G network,video communication applications will be more and more popular,need some high-speed video data transmission. In this paper,the design and implementation of CPCI- based video data transmission system are introduced,and relevant hardware interface circuit and the implementation scheme are proposed. The system mainly consists of the design of CPCI hot swap technology,the data receiving system construction of PCI9054 bus controller,data transport protocol,and IPC driver design. The experimental results show that,the interface board can realize video data transmission 100Mb/s.

In order to solve the problems of subjectivity and inconsistent of judging matrix, which are encountered in the effectiveness evaluation process of traditional Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method for integrated avionics system, an effectiveness evaluation algorithm of integrated avionics system based on improved AHP method is proposed. The algorithm constructs judgment matrix to reduce the expert's subjectivity by using group AHP method and quasi-optimum consistent matrix to solve the inconsistent problem of judging matrix by using least square principle. Then, the bottom indicators are divided into nonquantifiable indicators which obtain the evaluation vector by using experts evaluation method and quantifiable indicators which obtain the evaluation vector by using the utility function method and grey AHP method. Finally, the effectiveness of integrated avionics system is calculated by the evaluation vector and the indicator weight of each layer. The results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain the evaluation result more objective and scientific. It has certain reference value for effectiveness evaluation of integrated avionics system.

We live in a fast-paced busy world where one of the key biomedical factors we compensate with is sleep. Sleep impacts many facets of our lives from chronic disorders to workplace productivity, happiness and many other dimensions that we are continually discovering. Advances in technology and health informatics have made it possible to measure and understand sleep and related social factors in the real world. We are specifically interested in understanding sleep before and during the month of Ramadan - a time when people fast from sunrise to sunset. This fast is observed by more than a billion humans yearly and consequently there are some impacts to the society. In this paper we introduce the development of a health information system capable of acquiring, managing and visualizing health data for 1. Sleep signals were acquired by utilizing wireless sensing technology to measure sleep in a naturalistic setting rather than asking users to sleep in a sleep laboratory and 2. Social factors captured from surveys through a web platform rather than utilizing paper surveys. The system was developed to be easy-to-use by users and study administrators. We introduce to our knowledge the first research study, Fasting In Ramadan Research sTudy (FIRST@Masdar), capturing sleep and social factors before and during Ramadan from a total of 40 participants over two consecutive fasting years of 2012 and 2013.

With the rapid popularity of smartphones, malicious software has been stimulated significantly and the Android platform has attracted a lot of attention from attackers due to the open source nature and increasing market share. Since the signature-based antivirus software can only effectively detect known malicious software, the detection of unknown malware still remains challenging. In this paper, we developed a novel sandbox-based dynamic analysis system for Android malware to detect the unknown malware effectively. The Android x86 is adopted to implement the Android sandbox and the event flow is employed to control the application. The experimental results show the proposed mechanism is feasible. Finally, the paper also points out the direction of future research.

The paper studies a new method for Chinese new word detection and emotional tendency judgment based on mixed model and proposes a new word generation *** we construct conditional random fields(CRFs) to recognize the new words,lead-in features based on character combined with the crowd sourcing network *** then express word as a word vector based on neural network language model(NNLM) to judge the new word emotional *** experimental results show that the method can improve the precision and recall of the new word detection with a good system performance,and it also provides a new way for forecasting the public mood.
