Considering the different quality of service(Qo S)requirements posed by the various applications of vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs),the characteristic of communication capacity is vital for the design of the Intelligent Transportation system(ITS).Although some scaling law-based results had already been obtained for VANETs to describe the general performance changing pattern when the total number of network nodes goes to infinity,they cannot be used directly to estimate the actual capacity of a communication pair or the entire *** make up with this disadvantage,a interference-based capacity analysis is finished in this paper for the VANET *** representing the unique constrain of inter-vehicle distance,which directly affects both the signal and interference power decaying,the car-following model is used to describe the vehicles' mobility *** on that,a series of probability characteristics are derived for the worst interfered scenario,which finally leads to the expected VANET *** believe the new results obtained in this paper will provide useful guidelines for the deployment of future VANETs.

Because of the lack of inland river charts based on the S57 standard, the positive effect of Electronic Chart Display and Information systems(ECDIS) and Electronic Chart system(ECS) are limited. For resolving the deficiency of S57 standard charts in inland waterways and ensuring the safety of ship navigation in those areas, this paper presents the technology for transforming Geographic Information system(GIS) maps to S57 standard charts. First, the vector topologic structures of Map Info universal exchange format and S57 standard format are demonstrated. Then, transformation parameters and the target objects matching between the GIS maps and S57 charts are analysed. Based on the above, some key techniques are designed, including a model of vector data transformation, topological mapping relationships between the target objects of river GIS maps and the feature objects or special objects of S57 standard charts. Furthermore, the implementation process of transformation technology between river GIS maps and S57 charts is developed. The result show that the transformed S57 river charts can work perfectly on the ECDIS and ECS devices, which promotes the application of ECDIS and ECS, whilst ensuring the safety of vessel navigation.

We present an approach for on-line recognition of handwritten math symbols using adaptations of off-line features and synthetic data generation. We compare the performance of our approach using four different classification methods: AdaBoost. M1 with C4.5 decision trees, Random Forests and Support-Vector Machines with linear and Gaussian kernels. Despite the fact that timing information can be extracted from on-line data, our feature set is based on shape description for greater tolerance to variations of the drawing process. Our main datasets come from the Competition on Recognition of Online Handwritten Mathematical Expressions (CROHME) 2012 and 2013. Class representation bias in CROHME datasets is mitigated by generating samples for underrepresented classes using an elastic distortion model. Our results show that generation of synthetic data for underrepresented classes might lead to improvements of the average per-class accuracy. We also tested our system using the Math Brush dataset achieving a top-1 accuracy of 89.87% which is comparable with the best results of other recently published approaches on the same dataset.

DNA computing is a new way of computing in computer research, which is different from the traditional method of calculation. A large number of facts indicate that many complex problems can be solved by using it. Molecular beacon is a biological molecule with similar to hairpin and can detect the target sequences in solution accurately. According to the characteristics of mathematical model for the minimum set covering problem, this paper proposed a new DNA algorithm for solving the minimum set covering problem based on molecular beacon. In this proposed algorithm, the principle of molecular beacon is introduced and the procedure of solving the minimal set covering problem model is analyzed, the corresponding experimental operations were designed and a specific instance is used to verify the correctness of the proposed algorithm. The results show that this proposed algorithm is reliable and easy to be carried out without any catalyst and enzymes. Besides, molecular structures used in experiments are simple.

Time delay is one of the most important aspects of the suspension control performance impact in maglev transportation system(MTS).By using the traditional PID control,the problem is that it is difficult to confirm the PID parameters and have long settling time,even appear the chaotic ***,using Expert PID(EPID)control method produced over-fitting to initial assignments,local optimum induced easily and slow convergence rate *** on the global optimization feature of PSO algorithm,it has been adopted to optimize the initial values of Expert PID control in this *** intelligent control algorithm for the maglev transportation system was put forward based on Expert PID optimized by Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(EPID-PSO).The expert rule is that if the absolute value of the error trended to decrease,the PID current control kept its maintenance;if not,then the PID current control applied strong *** this rule,the dynamic error is reduced,and the performance of time delay is *** results by MATLAB proved that the control scheme compared with EPID control and PSO-PID control has good robustness,shorter adjustment time,faster response time,achieving better quality of control.
