In this paper, we reported the effective of the tangible user interfaces system to support training basic geometric shape for low-functioning children with autism. The results from the experiment clearly show that the children with autism who study from the TUI training system can learn more shape than conventional treatment. Furthermore, TUI was more attractive and offers a multimedia real time feedback that stimulates children's learning and also increases their attention span rather than the conventional treatment.

The traditional C2R model has two distinct disadvantages;on one hand, the decision-making unit only can be divided into the effective unit and non-effective unit, and it is impossible to distinguish and sort the effective decision-making unit;on the other hand, the weight assignment of the input and output indexes are impractical. In order to solve the existing model defects, it is feasible to introduce two virtual decision-making units, including the optimal decision-making unit and the worst decision-making unit, and build up the objective function model which takes the optimal decision-making unit value as the maximum and the worst decision-making unit value as the minimum, and then take the obtained optimal solution as the public weight vector to calculate the efficiency value of each decision-making unit, so as to implement the effectiveness sorting.

The rapid expansion of cloud offerings poses fundamental tasks for workload management in a large scale server farm. In order to achieve satisfactory Quality of service (QoS) and reduce operation cost, we present a fully distributed workload management system in a large scale server environment, e.g., cloud. Different from existing centralized control approaches, the workload management logic hierarchically spreads on each back-end server and front-end proxy. The control solution is designed to offer both overload protection and resource efficiency for the back-end servers, while achieving service differentiation based on service Level Agreement (SLA). The proposed system can directly work with legacy software stack, because the implementation requires no changes to the target operating system, application servers, or web applications. Our evaluation shows that it achieves both overload protection and service classification under dynamic heavy workload. Furthermore, it also demonstrates negligible management overhead, satisfactory fault-tolerance and fast convergence. (c) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
