In the design of wearable device, the focus is normally put on the device itself and functions serving individual users. However, as a product widely spread out over a large population, the consolidated data collected from the devices could be used to bring to users functions or services far beyond personal scope and increase the value of services for individual users as well. When the focus of design is switched from individual product to the overall landscape involving large amount of devices, a central data platform, and services supported by the data platform, a systematic planning of the working mechanism and services at both individual and social level become possible as the result of the scope expansion. We introduce in this paper our in-depth analysis of key issues involved in the design in this new type of ecosystem. Specifically, we use E-Wearable, a wearable device-based platform for environment protection and environmental information service to exemplify the concepts and methods we propose.

The construction of South Jiangsu modernization demonstration area bring an opportunity to build an ecological civilization of Jiangsu, while more reflected in the constraints of environmental system. Based on the system analysis of the introduction of FDI carbon of scale, structure, regulation and technology effect in Jiangsu Province, this paper utilizes year 2002 to 2012 statistical data to calculate the carbon emissions effects of FDI introduction in Jiangsu through KAYA model and simultaneous equations model, and applies the unit root test and Engel- Grainger two step test to prove that there is a co-integration relationship between the introduction of FDI in Jiangsu and carbon emission. Then it proves the environmental impacts on introduction of FDI through 4 effects. The results show that the introduction of FDI in Jiangsu has a positive effect on the reduction of carbon emissions. Therefore this article put forward some corresponding advice to protect ecological environment effectively.

Recently; AI based methods are frequently used in healthcare industry to unfold historical hindsight to explore the insight and envisage the foresight. For example, identification of epidemiological patterns of thyroid disease in targeted area(s) supports healthcare industry stakeholders (government agencies, health organizations, NGOs, policy makers and so on) in formulating proper policies to combat such kind of fatal diseases. Also, predictive Future Visualization (FV) of prevalence patterns of the thyroid disease is really helpful for these stakeholders to properly focus on specific area(s). This paper offers a system so called TDV: Intelligent system for Thyroid Disease Visualization, which offers a potential surveillance pattern of thyroid disease to policy makers for next ten years (2013-2022) by presenting thyroid disease prevalence facts of past ten year (2002-2012). The methodology of our system comprises upon three main steps, in first step, we apply data preprocessing techniques. In second step; we construct the decision model using Time Series Regression (TSR) in R software, finally we visualized the results by using a geographic map plotted in Q-GIS. As per results of our approach, we conclude that thyroid disease may increase more than 15% for next ten years in age group 21-30 and female gender is more prone to be affected from thyroid disease.

Many proposals to model service level agreements (SLAs) have been elaborated in order to automate different stages of the service lifecycle such as monitoring, implementation or deployment. All of them have been designed for computational services and are not well-suited for other types of services such as business process outsourcing (BPO) services. However, BPO services supported by process-aware information systems could also benefit from modelling SLAs in tasks such as performance monitoring, human resource assignment or process configuration. In this paper, we identify the requirements for modelling such SLAs and detail how they can be faced by combining techniques used to model computational SLAs, business processes, and process performance indicators. Furthermore, our approach has been validated through the modelling of several real BPO SLAs.
