The main work of this paper is done within the study of clock synchronization in the distributed system and researches mainly from three major aspects including the selected precise clock source,the algorithm of calculating the clock flow,and the optimization of local clock correction algorithms. Mainly to improve and optimize the clock accuracy and stability of the algorithm, and propose a set of relatively complete distributed system theory of clock synchronization algorithms and programs. This makes the distributed system clock synchronization technology more systematic and complete. Finally, according to the similarities and differences of cloud computing and distributed systems, proposes that the distributed clock synchronization algorithm that has been optimized does apply to the cloud computing environments, and prospects the use of the distributed clock synchronization algorithm in the cloud environment.

The secure local area networks(LAN) system based on transparence computer lacks the ability to prevent malicious attacks. Once a client being invaded, the important data maybe leaked or destroyed by malicious attacks, and the servers of secure LAN system maybe attacked by Dos virus. This paper presented a framework of distributed networks intrusion prevention system(NIPS) based on deep packet inspection(DPI) to improve secure LAN's ability of preventing attacks. The request packets which matched with dynamic black-list been thrown away on clients to prevent Dos attacks, and the others which no matched with white-list and its rules been thrown away on the NIPS gateway to prevent data leak or destroy. Experiment results proved that the new approach has ability to prevent wrongful operations on server's files, and to prevent Dos attacks to server.

Vehicle logo detection(VLD) is one of the crucial parts of intelligent transportation system(ITS).VLD methods are mostly based on learning progress or the relative position of vehicle logo and license plate. However, the learning progress is time-consuming, and the relative position above limits the application of VLD, especially when the license plate is removed. In this paper, a novel VLD method, based on the features of vehicle logo using saliency detection is proposed and solved the two problems above. Three dataset containing totally 3000 images is generated to assess the accuracy of this system. A detection rate of 92.27% is finally obtained, demonstrating the robustness and efficiency of our method.
