Recent years have witnessed the rapid development of cloud computing, which leverages its unique services to cloud customers in a pay-as-you-go, anytime, anywhere manner. However, a significant barrier to the adoption of cloud services is that users fear data leakage and loss of privacy if their sensitive data is processed in the cloud. Hence, the cloud customer must be able to select appropriate services according to his or her privacy and security needs. In this paper, we propose a novel cloud service selection method called PCSS, where a cloud service is estimated based on its capability of privacy protection (CoPP) covering the entire life-cycle of users 'data. A scalable assessment index system with a 2-level hierarchy structure is constructed to analyze and quantify the CoPP of cloud service. The first-level index is composed of all stages of data life-cycle and the second-level index involves privacy-aware security mechanisms at each stage. We employ a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation technique to count the privacy-preserving value of security mechanism. An AHP-based approach is exploited to decide the impact weight of different security mechanisms to the CoPP of each stage. By calculating a comprehensive CoPP metric of all life-cycle stages, all cloud services can be sorted and recommended to users. An example analysis is given, and the reasonableness of the proposed method is proved. Comprehensive experiments have been conducted, which demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method by the comparison with the baseline method at the service selection performance.

The applications of Augmented Reality (AR) in such mobile devices as phones and pads can enhance the users' experiences both in virtual and real world. In this paper the design and implementation of a Multiplayer Collaborative Training system (MCTS) is presented. It is a combination of virtual and physical reality, which builds virtual worlds with changeable scenes, brings authentic user experience and records process for analyzing and evaluation. Players are trained in a closed environment, which is composed of projectors, multimedia devices and physical scene. The application of mobile AR device guides the entire training process, and users make effective interaction with mobile devices to start and finish training mission. In the proposed system five innovative methods are implemented to improve interaction quality. An experiment case is devised with a series of tasks and conundrums for players, experimental results show that the MCTS can contribute more effective educations on team consciousness through the use of mobile AR technology and multimodal interaction to integrate virtual and real experience.

As per the estimates of National Interview Health Survey(NHIS)-2012,adult vaccination is extensively ignored and a very less number of adults could receive recommended vaccine doses. Thus, a cross sectional study was conducted to evaluate the knowledge and attitude towards adultvaccination programs among the adult citizens of Karachi, Pakistan. The survey covered about 54.28% of the total areas of Karachi, Pakistan. A questionnaire comprising of 11 questions was designed and a total of 500 individuals ranging from 11-61 years of age participated in the study. Responses to each question were statistically analyzed and the associations between different variables were established using SPSS 16. According to the results, majority(93.4%) of the individuals considered vaccines safe for health and more than 80% agreed that adult immunization is as necessary as child immunization however, a significant difference(p<0.05) was noticed between the vaccination schedule follow up rates during childhood and adulthood and only a few individuals could receive the recommended adult vaccines. A significant association(p<0.05) was also found between the frequency of infections and the factors that may affect the efficiency of immune system such as sleeping disorders, smoking, persistent depression/anxiety, alcohol intake and the use of anti-depressive drugs/steroids/cortisones. Results showed that a number of reasons may increase the reluctance of people towards any vaccination program such as the cost, risk of quality assurance and requirement of booster doses. Thus, the study emphasizes on the need of awareness programs for adult vaccination as the lack of awareness and ignorance in this sector may render masses susceptible to serious & life threatening infections.

The Mars Relay Operations service (MaROS) has been deployed by NASA's Mars Program Office and the Multimission Ground systems and services (MGSS) Project into mission operations to aid in the coordination of relay activities at Mars. This live system presents standardized interfaces and a centralized infrastructure to current and future participants in the Mars Relay Network for the purpose of reliably and securely exchanging and storing all relay-related planning and operations data. The initial development of this system leveraged over eight years of experience performing relay operations between the various spacecraft at Mars. Now, four years after its initial deployment, MaROS continues to undergo further refinement to better meet the needs of the Mars Relay Network. The most substantial, recent update was focused on providing capabilities needed by the Mars science Laboratory project, which landed on Mars in August of 2012. This paper will describe the nature of that update and describe additional features being added to the system to better serve the needs of current and future Mars missions.
