A new thresholding algorithm combined double windows with Fisher discrimination is proposed in the paper. For each pixel of image, its two neighbourhoods are chosen to compute local threshold value with two different sizes. the threshold of neighbourhoods is adaptive calculated by using Fisher discrimination. then, binary each pixel is implemented by compared the grey level with the minimum of two threshold values. the experimental results showed that the proposed method improves thresholding performance efficiently. It has better edge-keeping and noise-tolerant ability.

Topic phrase extraction is a core component for many NLP(Natural Language Processing) applications including knowledge Base Question Answering(KBQA). In this paper, we propose a topic phrase extraction method based on context features and XGBoost(CFXGBoost) to detect the topic phrase given an input question. Our method first finds all of the phrases which appear in the question through the pre- constructed phrase dictionary, then extracts rich context features of the phrases to train a XGBoost model to detect the topic phrase in the question. Experimental results evidence that our approach achieves outstanding topic phrase extraction performance in KBQA system.

For composites static strength, fatigue damage and durability demonstrate a scatter factor of results larger than for isotropic materials. To characterize it the fuzzy set approach is proposed. Two different mechanical descriptions of fatigue life are used in order to describe the uncertainty and randomness of parameters characterizing the fatigue damage and finally the fatigue durability. the theoretical predictions representing the lower and upper bounds of a fatigue life are compared with experimental data. In general, the present analysis shows that the fuzzy set description allows us to take into account much more parameters than classical deterministic or statistical methods.

In this paper, addition- subtraction frequency (ASF) method with full- traversal is proposed for the projection of a possible M7. 0- or- above Chile earthquake. In order to simplify ASF model and get the intuitive projection results, 3 variables are configured as inputs during numerical experiments. Besides, this paper uses Chile's real seismic data in the past, and three forms of initial date data [i.e., m/d/y (month/day/year), m/y (month/year), and y (year)] are investigated. Finally, 10 March 2020 is shown as the most possible date of next M7. 0- or- above Chile earthquake projected via consistency analysis.

Bridge cranes at work, due to the large, car plus (minus) speed and improve load factors, will cause the load to swing. this not only increases the likelihood of accidents, but also will seriously affect the efficiency of the production. Under the prerequisite of ensuring the crane operating efficiency, to prevent the swinging of load for bridge crane has great meaning. Based on the physical characteristics of bridge crane inSimulinkestablished with inverter, motor and crane model. According to simulations a mathematical model is proposed based on fuzzy control and batch control of overhead traveling crane anti-sway control method. In actual experiments, using load and the angle of tilt sensor the mass of load is measured as a feedback signal. And, ultimately, the crane's operating efficiency, angle control in the ideal range is ensured.

this paper established the random forest and Bayesian classification prediction models and aims to find out the risk factors of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation after the precise radiotherapy in patients with primary liver cancer (PLC). Using the identified risk factors we can provide the reference to the doctor to reduce the incidence of the disease. Firstly, we proposed random forest method to select key features and then establish classification prediction models with the key subset. All the features are sorted according to the importance. We select 5 most important features which would be combined into a brand new feature subset and with the new subset we establish random forest and Bayesian classification prediction model. We find that HBV DNA level, TNM tumor staging, V10, V20, outer margin of radiotherapy is the risk factors of HBV reactivation. the classification accuracy of random forest can be reached to 85.15% by using 5 fold cross validation under 200 decision trees, meanwhile, the accuracy of Bayesian classifier reached to 84.57% by using 10 fold cross validation. the experimental results showed that the random forest can be used to evaluate the importance of variables and select the key features. And also, it is a better method to solve the classification prediction problem of HBV reactivation.

Mine pressure monitoring data is essentially a data stream, the safety evaluation of mine pressure can be seen as data stream classification, and classification labels are safety and unsafety. the safety evaluation method of mine pressure based on random decision tree is proposed in the paper, and the method determines the split point by Hoeffding Bounds inequality and information entropy instead of random selection. Experimental results show that the method has better accuracy for data stream classification;and it can be applied to the safety evaluation of mine pressure.

A short-term weather prediction attempt is presented in this paper. Different from the traditional method, a prediction algorithm called addition-subtraction frequency (ASF) algorithm is applied to handling weather prediction. Practically, the snowy weather date data of Guangzhou are chosen as input to ASF algorithm. In order to make the prediction more accurate, three numerical experiments with different forms of input are conducted, and the forms of the input are year form, month/year form, and month/day/year form, respectively. On the basis of consistency analysis, years 2033, 2042 -2044, and 2052 are indicated as the most possible years of snowy winter in Guangzhou within a time span of forty years.

Varactor system is a kind of common control model applied in different fields. Meanwhile, tracking control is the most classic and important topic of discussion in control field. On one hand, the tracking control of different models has been studied. On the other hand, a number of methods have been investigated for solving the tracking control problem. Zhang dynamics (ZD) method proposed recently by Zhang et al. is very effective for tracking control. In this study, ZD method is applied to investigate two ZD controllers for the tracking control of varactor system in the situations of no noise perturbation or noise perturbation. theoretical analyses and simulative verifications show that the tracking errors synthesized by the two ZD controllers are bounded and exponentially convergent.
